Abstract

Siklus berjalan umum dibagi menjadi dua fase, pertama cara berdiri atau tahap menahan beban dan tahap mengayun. Tahap cara berdiri dimulai pada jari kaki diam dan berakhir pada kontak tumit. Kedua kaki secara simultan berkontak dengan permukaan jalan dengan kira-kira 25% siklus two-step lengkap, bagian dari siklus ini didesain sebagai fase double-support. Pada saat berjalan antara fase single support dan double support, maka timbul getaran mekanik terutama bagi pengguna prosthetic. Getaran mekanik ini muncul pada prosthetic kaki dan selanjutnya mempengaruhi tekanan pada stump dengan frekuensi tekanan secara terus menerus berulang.Pengujian getaran mekanik pada prosthetic endoskeletal pada kecepatan 1,2 m/s2 untuk 28 detik/100 meter menunjukan mulai tidak stabil sampai dengan akhir jarak tempuh. Pada prosthetic eksoskeletal pada kecepatan 1,2 m/s2; 1,6 m/s2 dan 2,0 m/s2 sejak dari awal menunjukan sudah tidak stabil sampai dengan akhir dari jarak tempuh. Perulangan tekanan pada otot stump berdasarkan lamanya waktu tekanan terhadap frekuensi tekanan, frekuensi 100 Hz meskipun terjadi perulangan tekanan, tetap memberikan dampak rasa nyaman pada stump.

Abstract

Supply Chain Management (SCM) has been recognized as foremost business strategy that can improve business process, save costs, enhance company’s revenue. This strategy application spans all range of businesses from manufacturing to service company. In order to be successful, SCM requires full commitment from corporate executive, supported by thorough strategic and tactical planning. In this report, we audit current supply chain status of PT XY and aim to identify some processes where ineffective operations are being carried in its supply chain activities. The company currently struggles to hold their position in overseas market from vicious competitors from China and Vietnam. Therefore, XY wants to make better and more rapid supply chain decisions in response to volatile customers demand and increasing supply costs. Based on the findings of XY business situation, we recommend process improvements in supplier relationship, product development, transport management, procurement activity and customer relationship management, which will increase XY customer service level. We also propose supply chain information system (SCIS) implementation in production planning, inventory control and distribution which will improve XY supply chain processes, support critical strategy decision and give significant advantages over its competitors.

Abstract

In this recent time, almost all of jobs sectors using technology and computer for they activities. By using computers, they reach value added as efficiency, more faster, and validity. Using computers for a long time and for continuity activities, need work environment that support their produvtivity and their safety. Work environment such as lighting, the screen colour, the smels of room, etc are the factors that can influence activities’s productivity and quality. For that purposes, this paper research about the influence of intensity of lamp lighting and computer’s screen lighting to typing productivity. The experiment does with factorial design becouse they use two factors (intensity of lamp lighting and computer’s screen lighting ). Every factors have 3 levels (kualitative and kuantitative). The respons that want to know the typing productivity (word in 10 second) for each responden. The replication for the experiment is 3 for each treatment.From the result, there are no significant influence between intensity of lamp lighting, computer’s screen lighting and typing productivity.

Abstract

In this paper, we concerned about improving inefficiences of the business processes at store room areagrocery products in a grocery company. Due to inefficiencies of the inventory management, it is necessary to improve them related with providing good information and data management. The main problem is miss information related with early warning system of lifetime products. They often have unsold inventory grocery products as impact of expired date. This journal analyzes a system to find out the need for system, then designs the system based on the system requirement obtained from the analysis. The information system of store room area grocery product is designed by using an object-oriented approach and UML modeling language to identify the actor, to make the system use case, to model the business process using the activity chart, to make interaction scheme using sequence diagram and to identify class. In the designing stage, this database and interface design is made. After database and interface design, the next stage is to make the program code by considering the use case and interaction diagrams that are made previously in modeling the object-oriented system. The result of this research consists of input constituting login form, product, suppliers, unit, category, action, location, and personnel data, addition, withdrawal, and action transactions, searching for product data, personnel data, location data and report input. Meanwhile the output constitutes withdrawal list, increment, product early earning reports approaching the expired date, product list, location list, personnel list, stock op name checklist, and the product master label. The outputs of the information system are reports and documents in monitor screen view and in printing. The validation showed that the information system designed can support the early warning system of expired date of grocery products in store room area.

Abstract

Associated with an institutional development, self evaluation is important that cannot be separated from long-term, medium-term, or short-term strategic plans. Self-evaluation involving all the layers or elements of the institution. Information system providing self-evaluation should be made for such purpose. One approach that can be used to design self-evaluation information systems is Zachman’s framework. This framework is suitable used for developing information systems because it involves a variety of perspectives layer that looked different from the system’s perspective. This is consistent with the self-evaluation’s concept that must involve all elemens in the institution, from top management to lowest operational.

Abstract

The competition on industry that being increase, and the rapidly development of industry, encourage the industrialization to move the production more effective and efficient, so can press down the production cost that have to paid. One of them is redesigning machine or production equipment that still have manually characteristic. This research was redesign the machine production that is scales tools which is moved manually, so this condition need a long time in scales process. Redesign the scales tools doing by using the automatic toward it. The method that was choosing is implementation the microcontroller system control technology.Microcontroller is IC that was function to control, give instruction and produce the signals that will send to infrared censor, optocoupler and relay to move conveyor motor and motor arm. Microcontroller used as controlling module system. This control module use OP AMP, ADC, relay, LDR and opto encourage working process. In the last design was produce prototype scales tools that give easily in scales process, so can accelerate prototype working process, production cost more cheap and increasing production capacity.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is redesign the ceramic’s appliance using activator in unidirectional movement base on anthropometri approach as a effort to decrease the work load. The object of this research are workers in Pagerjurang Ceramic Center of Bayat village, Klaten. The redesign steps consist of four steps, this are evaluating the old appliance; determining the new appliance’s specification; technique calculation; and cost calculation. The redesign result is an ceramic’s appliance which the dimension is 73 cm for the high, 60 cm for the wide, and 106 cm for the length. In the length dimension, there are space for the clay material at the left side and space for the ceramics at the right side of the worker. The new appliance activator consist of pedal (kick wheel with manually) and the main energy transmission system using kriwil chain. Pedal related to the chain and spiral spring so that enable the unidirectional foot movement. From the physiology of work show that there is reducing work load when the sample workers tried the new ceramic’s appliance.

Abstract

From the supply chain management (SCM) perspective, the low level of information accessibility to rice commodities availability has been one of the major postharvest distribution-related problems. This issue potentially cause delay in delivery, product scarcity and eventually financial loss for stakeholders. Previous studies concerned more with web and mobile applications for distribution of production means applicable for pre-harvest stage. This study focuses on the development of modest web and mobile SCM applications for distribution of post-harvest rice commodities. The characteristics of these applications are capable of addressing problems faced by those involved in such product delivery system. Web application was designed using Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) through Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) towards a service at Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Mobile application was designed using Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) to build a smart client loaded onto handphone. Comparison of system simulation on sofware requirement specification (SRS), use case diagram was presented in tabular form enabling users for need adjustment. Output of this research included user interface model and application prototype introduced to client and user to obtain feedback. The tabular SRS measure using use case showed on average a degree of appropriateness of 92%. User satisfaction level averaged 4.345 (out of 5) suggesting a good performance of the designed applications. Utilizing internet and handphone technology, the application models have fulfilled theoretical requirements and have adequately responded problems relating to the poor information accessibility in an SCM-based, postharvest rice distribution system, hence are worthy of being called as a modest web and mobile SCM.
