Abstract

Multikulturalisme adalah disiplin yang rumit dan kontroversial yang mencakup berbagai kebijakan dan praktik. tulisan ini dimaksudkan untuk mengeksplorasi dasar-dasar teoritis multikulturalisme dan pendidikan multikultural dalam masyarakat yang secara budaya beragam, liberal, dan demokratis. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian library research dengan menggunakan pisau analisis deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, multikulturalisme dapat dipahami sebagai ‘sebuah nilai dan prinsip politik yang bertujuan untuk mempromosikan koeksistensi yang damai dan bermakna antara kelompok-kelompok yang berbeda secara budaya dengan melindungi warisan budaya dan identitas masyarakat. Kedua, ada empat jenis multikulturalisme, iaitu: oposisi (oppositional), dominan (dominant), liberal (liberal), dan ‘multikulturalisme mainstream’ (mainstream multiculturalism). Penulis akan menunjukkan bahwa ‘multikulturalisme mainstream’ bisa dan semestinya diterapkan. Argumen utamanya bahwa ‘multikulturalisme mainstream’ tidak mendukung identitas budaya yang terpisah, nasionalisme budaya, atau determinisme budaya seperti yang diklaim oleh banyak pengkritik multikulturalisme. Abstract Multiculturalism is a complex and controversial discipline that encompasses a wide range of policies and practices. This paper is intended to explore the theoretical foundations of multiculturalism and multicultural education in a culturally diverse, liberal, and democratic society. This research is a type of library research using a descriptive analytical analysis knife. The results of this research are: First, multiculturalism can be understood as 'a political value and principle that aims to promote peaceful and meaningful coexistence between culturally different groups by protecting the cultural heritage and identity of society. Second, there are four types of multiculturalism, namely: oppositional, dominant, liberal, and 'mainstream multiculturalism'. The author will show that 'mainstream multiculturalism' can and should be applied. The main argument is that 'mainstream multiculturalism' does not support separate cultural identities, cultural nationalism, or cultural determinism as many critics of multiculturalism claim.

Abstract

The research entitled "The Role of Islamic Education in Minimizing Undisciplined Behavior for Students" aims to 1) To know and understand the meaning and causes of undisciplined behavior, 2) To know and understand the efforts of schools and teachers in dealing with undisciplined behavior, and 3 ) To know and understand Islamic views on undisciplined behavior. This research uses literature study techniques from various existing studies in which researchers explain the role of Islamic education in minimizing undisciplined behavior for students. Literature study is an activity to search for some theories from several references that are relevant to the topic of discussion or problem that the author has found. The results in this research are; 1) Undisciplined behavior is behavior that violates disciplinary rules. And the causes of undisciplined behavior at school are divided into two groups, namely: a) Internal factors, namely factors that arise from the individual himself. In this case, both teachers and students. And b) External factors, namely factors that arise from community support or the situation and conditions of the school. 2) One way that the school can help students to improve discipline at school is by formulating and implementing a personal guidance program. And 3) Discipline is very important in Islamic teachings. It can even be said that Islam is a disciplined religion. Almost all religious services in Islam contain elements of teaching and disciplinary training.

Abstract

Educational digitalization is part of the learning transformation in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, aiming to improve the quality of education, including in madrasahs. This study aims to analyze the implementation of digitalization at MI Bustanul Ulum Badas, Sumobito District, Jombang Regency, in enhancing the quality of learning. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The findings indicate that the implementation of madrasah digitalization has a positive impact on learning effectiveness, particularly in student engagement, access to a broader range of learning resources, and the improvement of teachers' competence in utilizing technology. However, challenges such as limited technological infrastructure and the readiness of human resources in adapting to digitalized learning still exist. Therefore, a more comprehensive strategy is needed to support the implementation of madrasah digitalization to enhance education quality in the digital era. Abstrak Digitalisasi pendidikan merupakan bagian dari transformasi pembelajaran dalam era Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, termasuk di madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi digitalisasi di MI Bustanul Ulum Badas, Kecamatan Sumobito, Kabupaten Jombang, dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan digitalisasi madrasah memberikan dampak positif terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran, terutama dalam aspek keterlibatan siswa, akses terhadap sumber belajar yang lebih luas, serta peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi. Namun, terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi dan kesiapan sumber daya manusia dalam mengadaptasi digitalisasi pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih komprehensif dalam mendukung implementasi digitalisasi madrasah guna meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di era digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kinerja guru PAI dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru-guru MI yang dipilih secara acak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kinerja guru dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar dalam upaya pengembangan program peningkatan kinerja guru melalui peningkatan motivasi berprestasi.
