Abstract

This research discussed an intervention program for guidance counseling to reduce stigma of guidance counseling service on X School Jakarta high school students. Guidance counseling is a service provided by schools to help students grow optimally. This research aimed to see the effectiveness of social media campaigns to reduce the stigma that high school students of X School Jakarta has towards the service of guidance counseling. It also aimed to increase awareness towards the importance of mental health. This research used the approach of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods. Intervention program was a social media campaign that had been done using the feature of Instagram, such as polling and question box. The participants of this study were high school students of X School Jakarta. The result from six days of intervention showed that social media campaigns reduced the stigma towards the service of guidance counseling amongst the participants. The conclusion was that a decrease of stigma towards the guidance counseling service on high school students of X School Jakarta could be done by mental health campaigns through social media, especially Instagram.

Abstract

Academic emotions are emotions that arise when students are in a learning situation and are directly related to activities to achieve academic achievement. This study aims to describe students' academic emotions associated with online learning during a pandemic. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The subjects involved in this study were 307 students of SMP YPM 4 Taman, who was determined through a stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was the Academic Achievement Questionnaire developed by Pekrun. The data analysis used was descriptive and percentage analysis. The results showed that on average students tended to have positive emotions related to learning in the high category. The positive emotions described in this study include enjoyment, hope, and pride. Furthermore, the average student also showed negative emotions in the form of anger, anxiety, shame, hopelessness, and boredom in the low and medium categories.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in students' academic self-efficacy before and after being given Blibioeducation. The research method used was pre-experimental one group pre-test and post-test. The research subjects were 6 students who had academic self-efficacy problems. The data collection instrument used an academic self-efficacy questionnaire. Data analysis in this study used hypothesis testing, namely the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of the research conducted by researchers showed that there was a significant difference between the Pre-Test and Post-Test where the Post-Test Academic Self-efficacy was higher than the Pre-Test, which meant that the use of educational bibliography had an effect on increasing academic self-efficacy (sig 0.028 < 0.05). Based on the results of the study, the use of bibliographies has an effect on increasing the academic self-efficacy of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Krian..

Abstract

Academic responsibility is the attitude of individual behavior in carrying out their academic obligations. This academic obligation is in the form of tasks in academics, such as studying, doing assignments / doing exams by yourself, not procrastinating in doing assignments and being diligent in attending lectures.This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Reality Group Counseling to Improve the Academic Responsibility of Manggarai Students at Kanjuruhan University Malang. This study used a pre-experimental design with the type of one group pre-test and post-test design and the technique of taking the research subject was purposive sampling. The data analysis in this study used statistical-nonparametric with the Wilcoxon sign level test (Wilcoxon's signed rank test), which was processed with the help of SPSS 22.0 For Windows.The results of the Wilcoxon test analysis from the calculation results can be concluded that the Zhitung is -2.371 and the sig (2-tailed) is 0.018. if probability> 0.05 then Ho (zero hypothesis) is accepted, H1 (alternative hypothesis) if probability <0.05 then Ha is rejected then HO (zero hypothesis) is rejected and H1 (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. So the Wilcoxon test results show that sig (2-tailed) 0.018 <0.05 means that reality group counseling is effective in increasing student academic responsibility.

Abstract

Problem-focused coping is a strategy to reduce academic stress situations by doing something constructive to be free from stressful situations. Coping focused on problems; there are five dimensions: active coping, planning, suppressing competing activities, delaying stress coping, and seeking social support for help (seeking social support for instrumental reasons). The purpose of this study was to describe the use of problem-focused coping inactive students of the Faculty of Education and Language (FPB) class 2016-2019 at the Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, Jakarta. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The trial sample in this study was 70 students, and the research sample consisted of 152 students. Data were collected using a problem-focused coping questionnaire in the form of a rating scale. Of the 40 statements compiled, there are 38 valid with reliability of 0.935. Based on the calculation of the description of using coping focused on student problems class 2016-2019, FPB is included in the high classification/category, which is 54.6%. The active coping component is coping behavior which ranks first with a total of 623. In other words, students use operational activities and strive for positive actions to reduce academic stress.

Abstract

The development of the 4.0 industrial revolution era can cause various personal-social problems in the younger generation. Various facts show the low ability of junior high school students in personal-social development. The provision of personal-social guidance services can be provided by counselors as a preventive effort for students in dealing with problems related to adjustment, physical care, spirituality, dealing with conflict, and association. The implementation of group guidance services using simulation game techniques using traditional games is predicted to be able to support students' personal-social development. This study aims to describe the implementation of group guidance services using simulation game techniques based on local wisdom to support the development of personal-social aspects of junior high school students. The method used in this research is literature review. Based on the literature review obtained, several traditional games were found that could be used, including bakiak, dakon, betewah, moving star, engklek, leng kali leng, Tuan dosi, jilo-jilo, gate-gate, buton, babubutaan, torturing, sondah, and gobak sodor. The use of traditional games is effective as a preventive effort in dealing with personal-social problems, including increasing cooperation, increasing interpersonal communication, reducing aggressiveness, increasing prosocial behavior, increasing motivation to learn, and awareness of responsibility.
