Abstract

Bidang bimbingan karir merupakan salah satu bidang bimbingan yang membantu siswa dalam merencanakan dan menentukan karir yang akan mereka pilih sesuai dengan bakat minat, kemampuan dan ciri - ciri kepribadian. Hambatan dan permasalahan dalam membantu siswa membuat perencanaan dan menentukan pilihan karir sesuai dengan bakat,minat,kemampua dan ciri-ciri kepribadiannya dirasakan oleh pihak stakeholder SMK P.P Al Faqih Kec.Kowel Kabupaten Pamekasan Madura. Pihak sekolah belum memiliki program dalam membantu siswa menentukan pilihan saat akan melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi sesuai potcnsinya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam rangka meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa dalam melakukan perencanaan dan menentukan pilihan karir yang tepat sesuai dengan bakat dan minatnya. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan pengembangan diri melalui program bimbingan karir ini dilakukan melalui 3 tahap yaitu:identifikasi masalah, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi . Program bimbingan karir yang dilakukan dengan memberikan layanan informasi, layanan orientasi dan konseling individual.Kegiatan Pengembangan Diri Melalui Bimbingan Karir Bagi Siswa SMK P.P Al Faqih Kec.Kowel Kabupaten Pamekasan Madura sangat efektif. Siswa lebih memiliki kemampuan pengambilan keputusan dalam dalam memilih jurusan di perguruan tinggi. Pelatihan ini dapat mengubah kemampuan pengambilan keputusan dalam memilih jurusan. Saran dalam kegiatan pelatihan Pengembangan Diri Melalui Bimbingan Karir Bagi Siswa SMK P.P Al Faqih Kec.Kowel Kabupaten Pamekasan Madura adalah konselor dan pihak sekolah hendaknya bekerja sama dengan lembaga tes psikologi untuk mengadakan pelayanan tes bakat minat untuk siswa sehingga siswa terbantu untuk memilih jurusan di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Media Bimbingan Konseling tidak sebatas untuk perantara atau pengantar konselor dalam melaksanakan program Bimbingan Konseling tetapi memiliki makna yang lebih luas yaitu segala alat bantu yang dapal digunakan dalam melaksanakan program Bimbingan dan Konseling. Para guru bk/konselor dituntut menguasai keterampilan pelayanan media online secara umum dan konseling online secara khusus. Jika tidak kondisi BK kita akan kian terpuruk, guru BK/konselor dipandang gagap teknologi, terlalu rigit dan tidak mau berkembang. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut dan menyelenggarakan Tri Dhanna perguruan tinggi maka kami mencoba untuk melakukan pelatihan terhadap para konselor sekolah. Target luaran dalam pengabdian maasyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pcmahaman dalam pemanfaalan komputer secara umum dalam membantu menjalankan tugas, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman konselor tentang media online. Pelaksanaan kcgiatan diawali oleh identifikasi masalah yang dihadapi oleh konselor SMP di Kabupaten Pamekasan terkait dengan pemanfaatan media online dalam penyelenggaraan layanan bimbingan konseling kepada siswa. Selanjutnya melatih para konselor sekolah memanfaatkan teknologi infonnasi (konseling online) secara khusus berkenaan dengan pembuatan email dan Pesan Instan dan beberapa Jejaring Sosial serta penggunaannya untuk membantu menjalankan tugasnya sebagai konselor. Berdasarkan basil evaluasi kegiatan dapat dikatakan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan ini berhasil. Hal ini didasarkan pada akhir kegiatan peserta mampu membuat email clan Pesan Instan, memiliki akun jejaring sosial untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana layanan konseling online, dan terampil melakukan video call sebagai sarana awal dalam melakukan konseling online. Saran dari kegiatan ini adalah agar para guru BK/konselor senantiasa meningkatkan wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, nilai dan sikap dalam menjalankan tugasnya sebagai abdi negara.

Abstract

Peculiarly, the building of academic competency on counselor candidate needs to be gained through activity degree and student learning outputting class. Student academic competency in work skill on guidance and counseling course, notably in management and evaluation of guidance and counseling course require for having knowledge on theoretic treasures, context, principle, procedure and tools used in performing guidance and counseling service, also in developing professionalism as counselor on an ongoing basis by practicing guidance and counseling performance procedurally in school. Academic competency that will be gained by student can be categorized in three aspects of academic competency accomplishment, which are cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The researcher concludes that the lack of those three aspects above caused by the learning process in class which is expository, that giving less attention on learning experience organization. So, the study content tends to be forgotten easily. The using of jigsaw learning is expected to facilitate e-learning experience organization of the student in improving academic competency of counselor candidate. Classroom action research is implemented in three cycles. The result gained in each cycle is increase gradually. Cycle I shows that the development of student academic competency is still on low rank, cycle II shows medium average development of student academic competency, cycle III shows that the average development of student academic competency is on high rank. The implementation this learning strategy can be used to improve the learning process by prioritizing on academic competency through study activity and learning output of the student. As the process improvement, the researcher focuses on student learning, so that the lecturer has the role as facilitator only.

Abstract

Agresif adalah segala bentuk perilaku yang dimaksudkan untuk menyakiti sesorang baik secara fisik maupun mental. Bentuk perilaku agresif yang dilakukan individu dalam merespon keadaan frustasi, marah, takut antara lain menyerang fisik, menyerang suatu objek, secara verbal atau simbolis dan melakukan ancaman. Kecenderungan perilaku agresif akan mempersulit siswa sehingga perlu dibantu untuk mereduksinya. Guru bimbingan dan konseling sebagai salah satu tenagan profesional di sekolah bisa memberikan bimbingan kepada siswa dengan kecenderungan perilaku agresif dengan menggunakan berbagai teknik bimbingan, salah satunya adalah menggunakan terapi menulis ekspresif. Inti dari menulis ekspresif secara kelompok adalah untuk meningkatkan kerjasama, berbagi ide, perasaan, menghargai satu sama lain dan terutama kontrol emosi yang menurunkan perilaku agresif siswa.

Abstract

Humility is one of the characters themselves the most fundamental and important to be grown, trained and familiarized with students so that can be applied in everyday life. Humility is needed to acquire other virtues because it makes people aware of the imperfections, dare to admit mistakes and take responsibility for what you have done, and make people try to be a better person. This study uses a descriptive-quantitative methodology to identify the level of humility junior high school students (SMP) will specifically identified on the basis of sex or gender differences. This study used random and purposive random sampling of 64 junior high school students. The study identified 6.3% junior high school students are at a very high level of humility, 48.4% junior high school students are at a high level of humility, 20.3% junior high school students are at a level of humility moderate, and 25% of junior high school students are at low levels of humility. So that the average junior high school students are at a level of humility is high (48.4%). Furthermore, hypothesis testing using two independent samples t shows the t value is 0, 725 with significance 0, 039. Therefore, the significance of 0, 039 <0.05 then it is concluded that there are significant differences between the level of humility boys and women in other words there is a significant difference of humility based on gender.

Abstract

Multicultural awareness is the foundation of communication and it involves the ability of standing back from ourselves and becoming aware of our cultural values, beliefs and perceptions. Multicultural awareness becomes central when we have to interact with people from other cultures. People see, interpret and evaluate things in a different ways. What is considered an appropriate behavior in one culture is frequently inappropriate in another one.this research use descriptive- quantitative methodology to indentify level of students multicultural awareness specifically will be identified by gender and academic years. This research will identify multicultural awareness based on differences of gender, academic years. This research use random and purposive random sampling of 650 students from university. These studies identify of multicultural awareness 3% in high condition, 82,6 % medium, and 5,8% in low. Further, there is a significant difference in the level of multicultural awareness based on gender and academic year. These findings could not be generalized because of the limited sample and ethnicity; it should need a wider research so that can be generalized and recommended the efforts to development and improvement of multicultural awareness conditions for optimization the services. Abstract

This development research aims to produce an academic stress scale to measure the stress level of students who have high validity and reliability. So that it can facilitate counselors in helping students with academic stress problems. This development research uses a method or strategy developed by Borg and Gall involving 300 students. The sample of this study were junior high school students aged 13-16 years who were selected with cluster random sampling technique, Pearson Product Moment data analysis, Cronbach Alpha, normality test and factor analysis. This development research resulted in academic stress instruments consisting of 31 valid items and 15 correlating factors. So that the final results of this academic stress inventory can be used to measure students' academic stress levels.

Abstract

Aggressive behavior is an act or abusive behavior used in socializing or communicating in a society that does not conform to the norm in masayarakat, and can harm others. One of the deviant behaviors that often arise among teenagers is that it is less able to control their emotions, and it is easy to express displeasure through inappropriate words. Group guidance helps individuals find themselves, direct themselves, and can adjust to their surroundings. This research aims to test the effectiveness of role play techniques to reduce the aggressive behavior of grade VIII students at Sunan Ampel Performance Junior High School. The research method used is experimental research with one group pretest posttest design type. Research sample of 10 students selected with Cluster Random Sampling technique. Research instruments use thescale of study, expert test and aggressive behavior scale, data analyzed with technologyk validitytest, realibiltas, before after design. The results showed students' aggressive behavior decreased after participating in group mentoring activities with role play techniques or effective role play techniques to reduce students' aggressive behavior. The nextresearcher's advice b agi,time should be effective when providing services to students so as not to interfere with the schedule of students who participate in extra activities in school

Abstract

Academic responsibility is the attitude of individual behavior in carrying out their academic obligations. This academic obligation is in the form of tasks in academics, such as studying, doing assignments / doing exams by yourself, not procrastinating in doing assignments and being diligent in attending lectures.This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Reality Group Counseling to Improve the Academic Responsibility of Manggarai Students at Kanjuruhan University Malang. This study used a pre-experimental design with the type of one group pre-test and post-test design and the technique of taking the research subject was purposive sampling. The data analysis in this study used statistical-nonparametric with the Wilcoxon sign level test (Wilcoxon's signed rank test), which was processed with the help of SPSS 22.0 For Windows.The results of the Wilcoxon test analysis from the calculation results can be concluded that the Zhitung is -2.371 and the sig (2-tailed) is 0.018. if probability> 0.05 then Ho (zero hypothesis) is accepted, H1 (alternative hypothesis) if probability <0.05 then Ha is rejected then HO (zero hypothesis) is rejected and H1 (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. So the Wilcoxon test results show that sig (2-tailed) 0.018 <0.05 means that reality group counseling is effective in increasing student academic responsibility.

Abstract

A phenomenon that is often encountered today is that many students have low learning independence. Students who have low learning independence often depend on their friends during the learning process, so they rely more on other friends. This study aims to determine how effective the shaping technique can help increase the learning independence of elementary school students. This study uses an experimental design with a single-subject design. This single case experimental study uses the A-B-A design. Data collection was carried out using observation and interviews. The subjects of this study were 4 5th grade students of SD Dadapan 01, Wajak District, Malang Regency who had a low level of learning independence. Quantitative data was analyzed visually, while qualitative data were presented descriptively. The length of the conditions during phase (A1) was 4 sessions, the intervention phase (B) was 6 sessions, and phase (A2) was 4 sessions. Based on the data-trace line, it can be seen that the phase (A1) of the trace data is low. The intervention phase (B) has an increasing data footprint and in-phase (A2) the data trail is increasing and stable. Data for baseline phase 1 (A1) is low with susceptibility 4-6, intervention phase (B) increases stably with susceptibility to 21-35, and baseline phase 2 (A2) increases stably with susceptibility to 17-21. The results of group analysis can be concluded that treatment assistance with shaping techniques can increase learning independence.
