Abstract

AbstractThis research was done at the Third Class Navigation Office of Cilacap. Thisstudy aims to know the role of the independent variables in building employeesperformance.The analysis shows several results as follows: R2 was 74.112% which means thevariation of performance was determined by the three variables as large as 74.112%.Further, the computed F (33.399) > F table (2.874) and computed t for length ofservice, absenteeism and job rotation were 2.2388, -2.3814 and 3.3637 respectively.They are larger than t table (2.0301). The elasticity test shows that coefficient forlength of service, absenteeism and rotation were 0.00831, -0.01014 and 0.01811,respectively. It can be seen that the coefficient of job rotation was the largest one.Because the independent variables of length of service, absenteeism and rotationinfluence employees performance, the management should pay attention to them.Keywords: working years, absence, work turn over, performanceAbstraksiPenelitian ini merupakan hasil survey pada Kantor Distrik Navigasi Kelas IIICilacap, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh masa kerja,tingkat absensi dan perputaran tugas kerja terhadap prestasi kerja dan untukmengetahui variabel yang berpengaruh lebih besar terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai..Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial maupun secara bersamasamavariabel masa kerja, tingkat absensi, dan perputaran tugas kerja berpengaruhterhadap kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan uji elastisitas dapat diketahui bahwa nilaielastisitas perputaran tugas kerja memiliki nilai paling tinggi. Perputaran tugas kerjahendaknya lebih mendapatkan perhatian khusus karena mempunyai pengaruh yanglebih besar dibanding dengan masa kerja dan tingkat absensi.Kata kunci: Masa Kerja, Absensi, Perputaran Tugas Kerja, Prestasi Kerja

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian berbentuk critical review ini menelaah mengenai anomali pasar sebagai salah satu bentuk dari fenomena di pasar modal. Pada anomali ditemukan hal-hal yang seharusnya tidak ada bilamana dianggap bahwa pasar efisien benar-benar ada. Artinya, disini suatu peristiwa (event)  dapat dimanfaatkan oleh  investor untuk memperoleh abnormal return. Salah satu bentuk anomali dalam pasar modal adalah anomali musiman (seasonal anomalies). Penelitian ini berusaha untuk menelaah mengenai pasar efisien dan beberapa penelitian di berbagai negara yang telah dilakukan seputar seasonal anomalies ini, baik day of the week effect, Monday effect atau January effect. AbstractThis study examined the form of the critical review of market anomalies as one form of the phenomenon in the equity markets. On anomalies found some matters that should not be there when it is considered that there is a really efficient market. So that here is an event can be exploited by investors to earn abnormal returns. One of the anomalies in the stock market is seasonal anomalies. This study sought to examine the efficient market and several studies in several countries that have done the seasonal anomalies, either the day of the week effect, Monday effect or the January effect.

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to find out, describing the identification and testing of the determinant of competitiveness to improve company performance and competitiveness to test the influence of investment. The results showed that the multilevel determinants of competitiveness include the future companies ability to provide product according to market need, company policies, vision and mission of the company, production process, price and design, product development, expects demand growth, professional, production machine, Cooperation with overseas, research funding sources, andcooperation withuniversities. Testing the hypothesis of the independent variable of competitiveness on the dependent variable of investment concluded that the Ha received.Based on the result of research that the main determinants affecting the competitiveness of the extent to which companies can meet the market demand based on consumer demand. For that companies must improve their performance in addition to these to support the competitiveness of the local government should make policies the support therealization of policy of competitiveness. Keywords: competitiveness, determinant of competitiveness, investment, furniture Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan, mengidentifikasi dan menguji penentu daya saing untuk memperbaiki kinerja dan daya saing perusahaan dan menguji pengaruhnya pada investasi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa penentu daya saing meliputi kemampuan perusahaan menyediakan produk sesuai kebutuhan pasar, kebijakan perusahaan, visi dan misi perusahaan, proses produksi, harga dan desain, pengembangan produk, harapan pertumbuhan permintaan, tenaga ahli, mesin produksi, kerjasama dengan perusahaan luar negeri, sumber pendanaan untuk penelitian, dan kerjasama dengan lembaga pendukung (perguruan tinggi). Hasil pengujian hipotesis dari model regresi dengan variabel independen daya saing dan variabel dependen investasi memperlihatkan bahwa daya saing berpengaruh terhadap investasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa faktor utama penentu daya saing adalah kemampuan perusahaan memenuhi kebutuhan pasar, maka perusahaan harus selalu berusaha untuk mengikuti trend yang berkembang. Sedangkan pemerintah daerah harus membuat kebijakan untuk mendukung saya saing industri mebel.Kata kunci: daya saing, penentu daya saing, investasi, industri mebel

Abstract

AbstractCompanies need a strategy in the development of business continuity and face the competition. Aim of this study to evaluate the development and selection of competitive strategy on the Po. Shantika in Ngabul Jepara. The method of analysis is the SWOT (Strengths Weakness Opportunities and Threats), SAP (Strategic Advantage Profile) and ETOP (Environmental Threatand Opportunity Profile). Internal variables consist of product quality, employee skills, facilities, location, price, service, promotion and corporate image. External variables consist of income per capita, market coverage, technological developments, government policy, the existence of competition and collaboration capabilities. The results showed that the Po. Shantika based SWOT matrix in position of investment, namely the position of a company that has a growth strategies. This is based of the SAP value of 3,4 are in strong position, while the value of ETOP in EOE at 3,9 and 3,5 ETE are on speculative business.Keyword: SWOT, SAP and ETOPAbstrakPerusahaan memerlukan strategi dalam pengembangan kelangsungan usaha dan menghadapi persaingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengembangan dan pemilihan strategi bersaing pada Po. Shantika di Desa Ngabul Kabupaten Jepara. Metode analisisnya adalah SWOT (Strengths Weakness Opportunities and Threats), SAP (Strategic Advantage Profile) dan ETOP (Environmental Threat and Opportunity Profile). Variabel internal terdiri dari kualitas produk, ketrampilan karyawan, fasilitas, tempat, harga, pelayanan, promosi dan citra perusahaan. Variabel eksternalnya terdiri dari pendapatan per kapita, penguasaan pasar, perkembangan teknologi, kebijakan pemerintah, keberadaan pesaing dan kemampuan menjalin kerjasama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Po. Shantika dalam matrik SWOT berada dalam posisi investasi, yaitu posisi perusahaan yang mempunyai alternatif strategi atau strategi pertumbuhan. Hal ini didasarkan dari nilai SAP sebesar 3,4 berada di posisi kuat, sedangkan nilai ETOP pada EOE sebesar 3,9 dan ETE 3,5 berada pada usaha spekulatif.Kata kunci: SWOT, SAP dan ETOP.

Abstract

AbstrakKeberhasilan   perusahaan   untuk    meningkatkan   kinerjanya tergantung    dari    dua    faktor    yaitu    orientasi    kewirausahaan    dan kemampuannya dalam menyusun program-program pemasaran yang kreatif. Orientasi wirausaha, program pemasaran, dan lingkungan tampaknya telah menjadi satu kesatuan yang tidak terpisahkan. Ketiganya dipandang sebagai faktor yang mempengaruhi upaya perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kinerja pemasarannya. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel 62 pemilik UMKM patung dan ukir di Sentra Industri Mulyoharjo Jepara, dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik kuesioner secara personal yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan The Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh dukungan positif dan signifikan yang memperkuat konsep yang menyatakan bahwa peningkatan kinerja pemasaran dipengaruhi oleh orientasi wirausaha dan kreativitas program pemasaran. Peningkatan kinerja pemasaran dipengaruhi oleh orintasi wirausaha dan kreativitas program pemasaran yang dimoderasi oleh faktor lingkungan. AbstractThe success of a company to improve its performance depends on two factors: the entrepreneurial orientation and the ability to prepare the programs of creative marketing. Entrepreneurial orientation, marketing programs, and the environment seems to be integral and  inseparable. Those are seen as factors that affect the company's efforts to improve the marketing. This study took 62 sample of sculpture and carving UMKM (small micro medium enterprises) owners in Industrial Center Mulyoharjo Jepara by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection was done by using a personal questionnaire. Then it was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of hypothesis testing was obtaining the positive and significant support that reinforce the concept of marketing performance improvement is influenced by the entrepreneurial orientation and marketing program creativities. This improvement is moderated by environmental factors.

Abstract

AbstractThe concept of organizational justice is important to understanding and predicting organizational behavior. The purpose of this paper is to examine impact of procedural and distributive justice on organization commitment. The result from a survey of 75 employees from a company at Bandung indicate that procedural and distributive justice, two dimensions of organizational justice, are significant predictor of organizational commitment. This result revealed that procedural justice had more effect on organizational commitment than distributive justice. Keywords: Procedural Justice, Distributive Justice, Organizational Commitment AbstrakKonsep keadilan organisasional penting untuk dipahami dan dapat memprediksi perilaku organisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji dampak keadilan procedural dan distibutif terhadap komitmen organisasi. Berdasarkan hasil dari survei 75 karyawan sebuah perusahaan di Bandung mengindikasikan bahwa keadilan prosedural dan keadilan distributive, sebagai dimensi dari keadilam organisasional, merupakan penentu signifikan dalam komitmen organisasi. Hasil ini juga menekankan bahwa keadilan procedural memiliki dampak lebih besar pada komitmen organisasi dibandingkan keadilan distributive.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji hubungan pengaruh antara tipe kontrak psikologis dan perilaku kerja inovatif yang fokus baik pada hubunganpengaruh langsung maupun hubungan pengaruh tidak langsung dengan dimediasi oleh keterikatan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai bagaimana dan mengapa kontrak relasional dan kontrak transaksional memberikan dampak berbeda terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif melalui Keterikatan kerja yang diaplikasikan pada sektor publik. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas 81 orang responden yang merupakan karyawan manajemen bawah dari lembaga penyiaran publik yang dipilih melalui teknik sampel acak. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen kuisioner, adapun untuk menghindari bias pengukuran terhadap variabel terikat datanya diperoleh dari sumber data yang berbeda yaitu yang bersangkutan sendiri dan atasannya. Hasil dalam penelitian di analisis dengan menggunakan SEM ?? PLS. Dari hasil analisa data ditemukan bahwa : a) Kontrak relasional tidak berpengaruh perilaku kerja inovatif, b) Kontrak transaksional tidak berpengaruh terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif, c) Kontrak relasional berpengaruh langsung terhadap keterikatan kerja, d) Kontrak transaksional tidak berpengaruh terhadap keterikatan kerja, e) Keterikatan kerja berpengaruh terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif, f) Keterikatan kerja tidak memediasi hubungan positif antara kontrak relasional dengan perilaku kerja inovatif, g) Keterikatan kerja tidak memediasi hubungan negatif antara kontrak transaksional dengan perilaku kerja inovatif.Abstract This study explored the relationship between psychological contract types and innovative work behaviour, its focus are in the direct effect between psychological contract types and innovative work behaviour and also mediating effect of work engagement. The research??s objective are to understanding how and why relational contract and transactional contract lead to different efefct on innovative work behaviour via work engagement which applied on public sector. Subjects in this research are 81 employees of public service broadcasting that chosen by propotionate random sampling technique. Data was collected by questionnaire and obtain measures of the criterion variables from different source which are from subordinate and their supervisor to eliminate common methode bias. This research used SEM ?? PLS analysis technique to analyze the result. Finding shows that :  a) Relational contract was not related to innovative work behaviour, b) Transactional contract was not related to innovative work behaviour, c) Relational contract was related to work engagement, d) Transactional contract was not related to work engagement, e) Work engagement was related to innovative work behaviour, f) Work engagement was not mediate the positive relationship between relational contracts and innovative behavior, and g) Work engagement was not mediate the negative relationship between transactional contracts and innovative behavior

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to investigate the public accountants' perceptions to the microcomputer in relation with its affect to their work outcomes, job sati faction and job performance. A conceptual model of the interrelation between perception, anxiety, attitude, microcomputer use and work outcomes is developed in this study. Mail survey is used to collect the data.The result shows that toward using computer directly affect job performance and job satisfaction. Extend using computer directly affect to job performance but does not affect job satisfaction. Toward using computer have significant effect  to extend  using  computa  Higher level of computer anxiety is negatively affected by perceived  ease of use, but computer anxiety is not affected by perceived usefulness. Computer anxiety also does not have significant effect to toward using compute1: Higher levels of perceived ease of used and perceived usefulness heighten individuals' positive attitudes toward using computer. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh intellectual capital dan kepemilikan institusional terhadap nilai perusahaan. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI dari tahun 2010-2014. Data yang digunakan di penelitian ini adalah data keuangan dari tahun 2010-2014, sebesar 160 perusahaan. Pengujian data penelitian menggunakan model regresi panel data. Setelah dilakukan pengujian chow test dan hausman test, metode yang paling layak untuk regresi adalah metode fixed effect. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa intellectual capital memiliki pengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, kepemilikan institusional memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. This study aims to examine the effect of intellectual capital and institutional ownership on the company’s value. The population used in this study is all manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2014. The main data used in this research is the financial data from 160 companies in 2010 to 2014. For examining data, this research uses panel data regression model. After running chow test and hausman test, the most suitable method for the regression is fixed effects method. This research shows that intellectual capital has negative and significant influence, while institutional ownership has positive and significant influence on the company’s value.

Abstract

AbstractThis research toformulate the strategy of developing for the central location of roofs production in Jepara regency, through potential identification, problem, opportunities and changes which are owned by UKM by using SWOT analysis ( strenghts, weakness, opportunities, threats). The research held at the whole roofs UKM in Jepara regency, totally 686 respondents. The primary data collection held throught the questioner with the loading of questions about the modality and finance,  human resources, production,  marketing, and institution.The result of research shows the problem faced by genteng UKM is the modality limitation had beside haven't been owned some access to the sources of modality and financial management which hasn't been done well, there still low quality of human resources had, pasive marketing, the low quality product also the aspects of institution which is not arranged well, for solving this case, the strategy may be able to do is optimalze the local potention supporting UKM development, increasing knowledgement and skill in this case for managing of human resources, finance, production or the marketing by technical traning, managerial accompaniment, field supervision, mechanization of research also recommends the local government to mediate UKM to access for the sources of modality, also facilitate UKM in order to participate in exhibition.  Keywords: The strategy of developing, Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats
