Abstract

Banking plays a role in economic development, namely in spurring economic growth. The main function of the bank is as a financial intermediary from parties who have excess funds with those who lack funds. The existence of the banking sector has an important role, which in the life of the community mostly involves services from the banking sector. Banking profitability is a ratio to determine the financial performance of banks. Research from Ali and Laksono (2017) is still interesting to develop both the variables and the object of research. In this study, the variable capital adequacy ratio (CAR) added with consideration that there were still differences between researchers.This study took the object of banks going public on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Banks that went public in 2016 were 43 banks. After checking as many as 26 banks that can be taken as samples through purposive random sampling technique. 17 banks that cannot be used as samples include going public in the year after 2012 and the absence of complete data. The analytical tool used is multiple regression equation test with the requirement to meet normal criteria and no classical assumption deviations occur.The results showed that the capital adequacy ratio (CAR), loan to deposit ratio (LDR), operational costs and operating income (BOPO) proved to have a negative and significant influence on banking profitability. Net interest margin (NIM) is proven to have a positive and significant influence on banking profitability. Non-performing loans (NPLs) are proven to have a negative and insignificant effect on banking profitability. Large variations in capital structure variables in banks that go public in Indonesia can be explained by variations in the variables of capital adequacy ratio (CAR), non-performing loans (NPL), loan to deposit ratio (LDR), operational costs and operating income (BOPO), net interest margin (NIM) is 92.3%.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to investigate how the influences of store attributes on store loyalty can be mediated by the store satisfaction framework.Design/methodology/approach – The survey data were collected from selected retail stores respondent using accidental sampling. The hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling. This research model uses 5 variables and 25 indicators that form a store loyalty model.  in this research model has been developed and 6 hypotheses have been formulated to answer the problem of this research. Data or a questionnaire distributed to The number of questionnaires distributed by 250 questionnaires in the Semarang region. The results of the selection of incoming questionnaires from 250 questionnaires, only 180 questionnaires were stated complete, so that it was feasible to be analyzed at a later stage. Because this study uses questionnaire data as primary data, so it takes steps to test the question (questionnaire) to find out whether the question is valid  or not Findings - The findings of this study help practitioners by empirically demonstrating that combined store satisfaction from consumers with store and affective loyalty programs mediate the influence of attributes such as the store atmosphere, store location, store personnel and so on the quality of the relationship between the shop and the customer. Therefore, store satisfaction alone cannot create strong loyalty and customer relationships. Conversely the existence of store attributes such as atmosphere, location, personnel will not perfectly shape store loyalty if it is not mediated by cognitive satisfactionResearch limitations / implications - Limited research on Alfamart customers, has not expanded the test of users of online purchasing facilities that use Alfamart's online facilities with Alfamind, so that the results can be more enriching, reinforcing past theories and research. In addition, this research draws on the requirements of respondents having a member card (Ponta) Alfamart as well as having a card from a competitor's retail. The results of testing this hypothesis cannot prove the effect of store location on store loyalty in order to get results that match expectations.Practical implications - The findings suggest that, in order to increase of store loyalty. The model output in this study can provide a positive contribution to PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk. in an effort to realize store loyalty in the form of suggestions for managerial implications. Managerial advice is intended for PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk. in formulating store location management policies in the future.Originality / value - This research adds value to the domain of store loyalty research by empirically establishing the mediating role played by the cognitive satisfaction-affective  store attributes such as atmosphere, location, personnel framework in shaping the influences of loyalty programs designed by store management on the final store loyalty and customer–store relationship.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of budget participation and clarity of budget targets on budget slack at the District Office in Demak District. This study uses primary data that is by providing questionnaire in the form of questionnaires distributed to respondents among others: sub-district, sub-district secretary, general sub-section and staffing, planning and reporting sub-division, sub-section of finance in Kecamatan Office in Demak Regency.The sample in this study was obtained by purposive sampling method. A total of 96 questionnaires were distributed to respondents, but with some obstacles there were 3 respondents who did not respond, so that only 93 questionnaires were sampled. The data obtained were then processed and analyzed as many as 93 questionnaires. The statistical method used to test the hypothesis is multiple linear regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA).The results of this study indicate that budgetary participation has a positive and significant effect on budgetary slack and the clarity of budget targets has a negative and significant effect on budgetary slack. While organizational commitment can moderate the positive relationship between budget participation and budgetary slack, so organizational commitment can moderate the negative relationship between clarity of budget goals and budgetary budget

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of profitability, family ownership, independent commissioner, institutional ownership against tax evasion (tax aovidence). The population of this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2012-2014, the number of samples obtained by the sampling technique is purposive sampling as many as 54 companies. The type of data used is secondary data by using the method of data collection and documentation of ICMD IDX. The method of analysis in this research is multiple regression analysis.These results indicate that the effect on the profitability of tax avoidance (tax aovidence). Family ownership does not affect the tax evasion (tax aovidence). Independent commissioner significantly negative effect on tax evasion (tax aovidence). Institutional ownership has a significant influence on tax evasion (tax aovidence).

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of income diversification on bank performance and risk for government owned banks in Indonesia. This study uses return on assets (ROA) for bank performance and standard deviation of return on assets (SDROA) for bank risk. Using a data set of government owned banks in Indonesia during the period 2012-2016, we find evidence that income diversification is positively related to bank performance (ROA). Income diversification is positively related to bank risk. We find that income diversification increases performance and also risk for government owned banks. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh diversifikasi pendapatan terhadap kinerja dan risiko bank. Pengukuran pada penelitian ini menggunakan return on assets (ROA) untuk mengukur kinerja dan  standar deviasi return on assets (SDROA) untuk mengukur risiko bank. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel bank milik pemerintah selama periode 2012-2016. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan diversifikasi pendapatan terhadap kinerja bank.  Implementasi strategi diversifikasi pendapatan juga berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap risiko bank. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa diversifikasi pendapatan tidak hanya meningkatkan kinerja namun juga risiko bank milik pemerintah.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh variabel debt to equity ratio (DER) profit margin on sales (PMS), Institutional Ownership (INSTO), dan Insider Ownership (INSO) terhadap Return on Equity (ROE) pada perusahaan non keuangan LQ 45 yang listed di BEI periode 2007-2009. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Data diperoleh dari publikasi Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) tahun 2010. Diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 16 perusahaan dari 272 perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda. Dari hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa PMS, TATO, institutional ownership dan insider ownership berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROE pada perusahaan LQ 45 di BEI Periode Tahun 2007-2009.  Kata Kunci:     debt to equity ratio (DER), profit margin on sales (PMS), Institutional Ownership (INSTO), Insider Ownership (INSO), and ROE

Abstract

AbstractMost of accounting studies had examined the relationship between the evaluative style of superiors and work related attitudes of subordinates. The result, however, showed that relationships were not consistent. These conflicting evidence reflected the influence of conti11ge11cy variables in the effect the relationship between the evaluative style of superiors and work related attitudes of subordinates. This paper extends previous work in the area of supervisory style as it pertains to the use of budgetary information for performance evaluation. This study examined influence of the evaluative style of superiors on job related tension and job·satisfaction with organization's culture as moderate variables. This study focused exclusively on the superior's budgetary pe1formance evaluation style a11d used multiple regression's model.Based  on the fifty  production  and marketing managers questionair  respon of a number ofmanufacturing companies in Central Java, the results of the  study, showed that budgetary performance evaluation style in the  organization's culture that job oriented, made high job related  tension and low job  satisfaction  of subordinates. Keywords: Budgetary  pe1formance  evaluation  style,  Job  related  tension,  Job  Satisfaction 01 ganization s culture

Abstract

This study aims to provide stimulants to leading sectors contributing the state budget non-oil and gas sector. So far, tourism has an extraordinary strategic function in terms of food security and job creation for the community. This brings fresh air to the home industry which is the support of the country's economy, how not 65% of the economic contribution in Indonesia is contributed by SMEs based on home industries. Batam is a special economic zone that has tremendous potential in tourism development. The strategic location close to the economic center of ASEAN, namely Singapore, provides benefits for tourism development, currently especially related to culinary tourism. Culinary and tourism is an identity culture to introduce the potential of an area to the outside community. In connection with this study, the researchers examined the existence of digital marketing as SMEs accommodation in promoting halal culinary products through social media, search engine marketing, and online websites. This study took a sample of consumers who bought halal food for UMKM production in Batam amounting to 160 respondents where proportional sampling method was used in the field application. This study uses the Structure Equation Model (SEM) analysis to easily reveal problems that cannot be answered in previous studies.

Abstract

AbstractResearch concerning success level of small industry have manies conducted. But research with specific and different object remain to be done relevant. Question of research is how capital, amount of labor, education level, experience, and number of hours work influence to success level of ??warung nasi kucing? in Kab. Jepara, either through parsial and also simultan. Variable success level mount measured quantitatively with daily net profit, capital measured with working capital, education level consist of SD, SMP, SMA and PT, experience measured with periodic storey. Population of research are entire owner of ??warung nasi kucing? in Kab. Jepara. sampling technique with sampling cluster while amount of taken sampel counted 97 responder. Data type used obtained primary data. collecting with questioner accompanied by interview. Analysis technique used doubled linear regression with classic assumption (multicolliniarity, heteroskedastisity and normality). Conclusion of research were number of hours and capital have an effect on positive and signifikan to success level. While three other variable were amount of labour, education level and experience not have an effect.Keywords: success level, capital, labor, education and experience AbstrakPenelitian mengenai tingkat keberhasilan usaha kecil memang telah banyak dilakukan. Namun penelitian dengan objek yang berbeda dan spesifik tetap relevan dilakukan. Pertanyaan masalah yang diajukan adalah bagaimana pengaruh modal, jumlah tenaga kerja, tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman, dan jumlah jam kerja terhadap tingkat keberhasilan usaha warung nasi kucing di Kab. Jepara, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Variabel tingkat keberhasilan usaha diukur secara kuantitatif dengan laba bersih harian, modal diukur dengan modal kerja, tingkat pendidikan terdiri dari SD, SMP, SMA dan PT, pengalaman diukur dengan lama berusaha. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengusaha/pemilik/penjual warung nasi kucing di Kab. Jepara, teknik sampling dengan cluster sampling sedangkan jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 97 responden. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh langsung dari responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner disertai wawancara. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda metode OLS dengan asumsi klasik (multikolinieritas, heteroskedastisitas dan normalitas). Pada proses analisis sampel nomor 3 dan 14 dikeluarkan dari analisis karena letak data outlier dan menyebabkan terjadinya heteroskedastisitas. Uji penyimpangan asumsi klasik memperlihatkan bahwa model regresi penelitian ini layak diinterpretasi. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah modal dan jumlah jam kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Sedangkan tiga variabel lain jumlah tenaga kerja, tingkat pendidikan dan pengalaman tidak berpengaruh.Kata kunci: tingkat keberhasilan, modal, tenaga kerja, pendidikan dan pengalaman

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian Ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh karakteristik, produk dan pelayanan perbankan syari??ah terhadap persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Unisnu Jepara tentang perbankan syari??ah dan untuk mengidentifikasi variabel yang paling dominan pengaruhnya terhadap persepsi mahasiswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 300 mahasiswa dihitung dengan rumus slovin. Untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas dari instrumen penelitian menggunakan validitas dan reliabilitas, hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa semua butir pertanyaan valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persyaratan uji regresi bebas dari gejala multikolinearitas, heterokedastisitas, autokorelasi, dan data berdistribusi secara normal. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa karakteristik, porduk dan pelayanan perbankan syari??ah berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis tentang perbankan syari??ah, dan karakteristik perbankan syari??ah merupakan variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi persepsi mahasiswa Abstract This study aims to determine the significance of the influence of the characteristics, Shari'ah banking products and services to the perception of the students of Economics and Business Faculty Unisnu Jepara on Shariah banking and to identify the most dominant variable on students?? perceptions. The population in this study is all students of the Economics and Business Faculty and the sample is 300 students calculated with Slovin formula. The validity and reliability test results show that all the questions are valid and reliable. The results shows that the regression test requirements were free of symptoms multicollinearity , heterocedastity , autocorrelation and the data were distributed normally. This study shows that the characteristics, products and banking services Shari'ah affect significantly on the students?? perceptions of the Economics and Business Faculty of Shariah banking, and the characteristics of the Shari'ah banking is the most dominant variable affecting students?? perceptions .
