Abstract

Keputusan lokasi, perutean kendaraan, dan kebijakan persediaan merupakan keputusan yang saling terkait satu dengan yang lain. Keputusan pengendalian persediaan, seperti ukuran lot pemesanan dan frekuensi pemesanan akan mempengaruhi baik itu ongkos persediaan dan ongkos transportasi. Sebagai contoh, pengiriman dalam kuantitas yang sedikit dan frekuensi yang sering menyebabkan pengurangan ongkos persediaan tetapi membutuhkan tambahan ongkos transportasi. Selanjutnya, keputusan perutean dan keputusan pengendalian persediaan akan mempengaruhi keputusan pemilihan lokasi sebab pemilihan lokasi ditentukan berdasarkan kriteria ongkos sistem minimum. Kegagalan dalam melibatkan ongkos persediaan dan ongkos transportasi ke dalam pertimbangan ketika memilih lokasi dapat menyebabkan sub-optimalitas sebab keputusan pemilihan lokasi memiliki dampak yang besar pada ongkos persediaan dan ongkos transportasi. Oleh karena itu, bagaimana memilih lokasi, menentukan rute kendaraan, dan mengendalikan persediaan yang optimal menjadi isu yang penting dalam merancang sebuah sistem logistik. Penelitian ini mengembangkan model integrasi yang secara simultan mengoptimisasikan keputusan lokasi, rute kendaraan, dan pengendalian persediaan pada sistem rantai pasok tiga eselon yang belum pernah dikembangkan sebelumnya. Entitas yang terlibat dalam rantai pasok kajian terdiri dari satu Pemasok, multi Depot, dan multi Ritel. Karakteristik permintaan yang dipertimbangkan dalam penelitian ini bersifat probabilistik dan jumlah produk terdiri dari satu produk. Model integrasi yang dikembangkan selanjutnya dipecahkan dengan metode optimal dan metode heuristik. Setelah dilakukan perbandingan dengan model dekomposisi diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model integrasi menghasilkan ongkos total sistem yang lebih kecil.

Abstract

In the modern society, apartments are one of the answers to the need of residential for the citizens due to limited area for landed housing and over crowded city for businesses. Therefore, it will be very interested to investigate the price of appartements, since they are not only influenced by, e.g., physical factors, location, external factor and distance to the central business district, but also they have dependency to the price of other appartements in the neighborhoods. This dependency is called the spatial dependency; to accommodate this dependency to model the price of apartemen by ordinary least square is not enough. Therefore, in this research we used the spatial regresion to model the price of appartements, particularly in Surabaya. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia: Dalam masyarakat modern, apartemen merupakan salah satu jawaban akan kebutuhan tempat tinggal bagi warga kota, karena adanya keterbatasan lahan untuk perumahan dan kota yang padat dengan daerah bisnis. Oleh karena itu sangatlah menarik untuk menginvestigasi harga apartemen, karena mereka tidak hanya tergantung pada, misalnya, faktor fisik, lokasi, faktor eksternal dan jarak ke pusat bisnis, tetapi juga tergantung pada harga apartemen di daerah sekitarnya. Ketergantungan ini disebut dengan ketergantungan spasial. Untuk mengakomodasi ketergatungan ini memodelkan harga jual apartemen dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear biasa tidaklah cukup. Pada penelitian ini, akan digunakan model regresi spasial untuk memodelkan harga apartemen khususnya di Surabaya. Kata kunci: Ordinary Least Square (OLS), Spatial Regresion, Spatial Auto Regresion (SAR).

Abstract

The effectivity improvement of production facility in factory is not only on facility manitenance but also on human resources. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) gives an optimal solution to effectivity improvement. A case study of TPM implementation have done in non sewing department of PT Kerta Rajasa Raya. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Peningkatan efektivitas dari fasilitas produksi di suatu perusahaan bukan hanya terbatas pada perawatan fasilitas kerja saja tetapi juga sumber daya manusia. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) memberikan suatu solusi optimal terhadap peningkatan efektivitas dengan melibatkan semua sumber daya manusia yang bertanggung jawab terhadap fasilitas produksi. Suatu studi kasus terhadap pengimplementasian TPM dilakukan di departemen non jahit PT. Kerta Rajasa Raya. Kata kunci : TPM, MTTF, Autonomous Maintenance.

Abstract

The Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) has instructed all insurance providers in Indonesia to apply a mandatory tariff for property insurance. The tariff has to be uniformly applied and the rule of set the maximum and minimum premium rates for protection against losses. Furthermore, the OJK issued the new rule regarding self-retention and domestic reinsurance. Insurance companies are obliged to have and implement self-retention for each risk in accordance with the self-retention limits. Fluctuations of total premium income and claims may lead the insurance company cannot fulfil the obligation to the insured, thus the company needs to conduct reinsurance. Reinsurance helps protect insurers against unforeseen or extraordinary losses by allowing them to spread their risks. Because reinsurer chargers premium to the insurance company, a properly calculated optimal retention would be nearly as high as the insurer financial ability.  This paper is aimed at determining optimal retentions indicated by the risk measure Value at Risk (VaR), Expected Shortfall (ES) and Minimum Variance (MV). Here we use the expectation premium principle which minimizes individual risks based on their quota share reinsurance. Regarding to the data in an insurance property, we use a bivariate lognormal distribution to obtain VaR, ES and MV, and a bivariate exponential distribution to obtain MV. The bivariate distributions are required to derive the conditional probability of the amount of claim occurs given the benefit has occurred.

Abstract

The high volume of waste generated by both industry and society is a common problem found in almost all cities, especially in big cities like Jakarta. It is influenced by purchasing power and level of population growth. This problem become more worst with the limited landfill (TPA) which are available. Therefore, it is required for an alternative waste management that can reduce waste level in TPA. The objective of this study is to analyze waste management that can reduce the waste level in TPA using simulation based on dynamic system. Simulation results will then be used to look at the feasibility of each alternative waste management based on Cost-Benefit ratio (B/C), whereas to determine the public's perception of alternative waste treatment (in terms of social, economic, environmental and technological aspects), a weighting process will be done using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). TPA Bantar Gebang which serves to accommodate waste generated by Jakarta was chosen as case study. Using simulation, projection of waste disposed to TPA Bantar Gebang for different scenarios to the year 2025 were obtained. Based on the dynamic simulation, AHP, and B/ C analysis, the study shows that the waste management should be done in two stages, first is by composting and then with incenerator. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia: Tingginya volume sampah yang dihasilkan baik oleh industri maupun masyarakat merupakan permasalahan umum yang dijumpai di hampir semua kota, terutama di kota-kota besar seperti Jakarta. Disamping dipengaruhi oleh daya beli masyarakat, permasalahan tingginya volume sampah juga dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pertumbuhan penduduk. Permasalahan ini semakin dipersulit dengan terbatasnya Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) yang tersedia. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu alternatif pengelolaan sampah yang dapat menurunkan tingkat penumpukan sampah di TPA. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis pengelolaan sampah untuk mengurangi beban penumpukan sampah di TPA dengan menggunakan simulasi berdasarkan pendekatan sistem dinamis. Hasil simulasi selanjutnya akan digunakan untuk melihat kelayakan dari setiap alternatif pengelolaan sampah berdasarkan perhitungan Cost-Benefit ratio (B/C), sedangkan untuk mengetahui pandangan masyarakat terhadap alternatif pengolahan sampah (dilihat dari aspek sosial, ekonomi, lingkungan dan teknologi), maka dilakukan pula proses pembobotan dengan Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Sebagai studi kasus dipilih TPA Bantar Gebang yang berfungsi untuk menampung sampah yang dihasilkan oleh DKI Jakarta. Dengan menggunakan simulasi didapatkan proyeksi sampah yang dihasilkan dan akan dibuang ke TPA Bantar Gebang untuk berbagai skenario hingga tahun 2025. Berdasarkan hasil analisa, baik dengan sistem dinamik maupun dengan Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) dan Benefit-Cost ratio (B/C), maka sebaiknya pengelolaan sampah di DKI dilakukan secara bertahap, pertama adalah dengan pengomposan dan kemudian dengan incenerator. Kata kunci: kompos, incenerator, recycle, simulasi, sistem dinamis.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to give direction to the three main economic players (industry, government and academician) in determining their strategic orientation in technology development. The model will be built in interactive framework where in making decision each player considers other possible strategic choices. A three-dimension game theory combined with an interactive decision structural model of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) will be used to find the solution. The results reveal that collaboration strategy give the highest outcome for the three players. It recommends industry and academician to make collaboration in undertaking innovation while the government should let an independent organization to manage technology development.

Abstract

The economic production quantity (EPQ) model is widely employed in reality and is also being intensively developed in the research area. This research tries to develop more realistic EPQ models for deteriorating items by considering stochastic machine unavailability time (uniformly and exponentially distributed) and price-dependent demand. Lost sales will occur when machine unavailability time is longer than the non production time. Since the closed form solution cannot be derived, we use Genetic Algorithm (GA) to solve the models. A numerical example and sensitivity analysis is shown to illustrate the models. The sensitivity analyses show that a management can use price policy to minimize the profit loss due to machine unavailability time under a price- dependent demand situation

Abstract

PT. TELKOM Tbk. is expected to have good service level, in turn will give satisfaction to their customer. In operational condition, if an equipment can not operate well, it will cause functional failure in providing communication services. The strategy to anticipate failure is strategy in using equipment that give good services. The reliability can be a reference to the equipment that's give good service level. Beside that, use of equipment must support by spare part stock. Determining strategy of using equipment is explained by using time interval that supported by some spare part. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : PT. TELKOM Tbk. diharapkan memiliki tingkat pelayanan yang baik, untuk memberi kepuasan kepada pelanggannya. Dalam kondisi operasional, jika sebuah peralatan tidak dapat beroperasi dengan baik, akan menyebabkan kegagalan fungsional dalam menyediakan jasa komunikasi. Strategi untuk mengantisipasi kegagalan adalah strategi penggunaan peralatan sehingga memberi pelayanan yang baik. Keandalan bisa menjadi acuan apakah peralatan itu memberikan tingkat pelayanan yang baik. Disamping itu, penggunaan peralatan harus didukung dengan persediaan suku cadang. Penentuan strategi penggunaan peralatan dijabarkan dengan penggunaan interval waktu yang didukung oleh sejumlah suku cadang. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to conduct an analysis on demand characteristic and inventory cost which might potentially influence the determination of base-stock level. Appropriate base-stock level will determine the maximum profit and also reduce the stockout cost for fashion products which has high demand uncertainty and single order problem. Case study is applied on a garment company with eight fashion product types that can be classified into short and long lifetime. The effect of coefficient variation, salvage price and stockout cost is analyzed towards profits and base stock level. It can be concluded that demand variability does not affect base stock level, while stockout cost and salvage price does.

Abstract

This paper discusses the concept of studies an Available to Promise (ATP) system by looking beyond what traditionally highlighted in literature concerning Supply Chain. Advanced ATP systems are implemented in practice depends on the company's strategy. However, The performance measures of ATP system become very important and more complex in order to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of ATP system in a supply chain. This paper concludes seven factors influence ATP system in a supply chain.
