Abstract

Every company aims to maximize its profit to survive and maintain business growth. However, it has to allocate some of the profit to the community development in the form of corporate social responsibility. Along with the importance of the development of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), many companies consider the social effects of their supply chain activities. In this paper, we address a problem determining the optimal order allocation, carrier selection, and the amount of CSR in a single product, multi-suppliers, and multiple periods environment. A goal programming model was developed to solve the problem by considering all-unit quantity discounts, the lateness of deliveries, and rejections. LINGO 18.0 was used to solve the model. The results of optimization show that all the goals are achieved. Based on the sensitivity analysis results, the proposed model is relatively insensitive to the goals of the profit and social value unless at the increases of 24% of both goals. For the goals of defect items and late delivery items, both goals affect the objective function when each goal is decreased. Hence, the decision-maker has to be careful in setting the goals.

Abstract

The Automotive Industry is one of the business lines affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The pandemic causes instability in the Indonesian economy from demand and sales. The supply chain is a long process consisting of parties involved directly or indirectly in fulfilling customer needs: suppliers, manufacturers, shipping, warehouses, checking, and the customers themselves. In an increasingly dynamic and volatile global environment, various events threaten to disrupt supply chain operational activities. For example, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused supply chain management to be very vulnerable due to closing access and lockdown policy. Therefore, the designed supply chain system must withstand disruptions and recover quickly at a minimal cost. Supply Chain Resilience (SCR) is the ability of the supply chain to survive, adapt, and overcome operational disruptions that can damage the supply chain system so that the supply chain can quickly recover from disruptions and reconstruct the supply chain to be stronger than before. SCR has attributes that enable companies to anticipate and overcome disruptions. The Automotive Industry in Indonesia needs to identify what capabilities have been or will be used to anticipate supply chain disruptions which are then quantified to find out which capabilities have the most effect on increasing supply chain resilience. The method used in this study is DEMATEL (Decision Making Trial And Evaluation Laboratory) - ANP (Analytic Network Process) based, which can visualize causal relationships between factors through a cause-and-effect diagram and show the extent to which these factors influence each other.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic push the learning revolution. The previous onsite learning is suddenly change to online learning. Current technological developments support the online learning application through the use of Learning Management System Platform. However, some problems are found during the application of online learning. Thus, this research aims to improve online learning through the use of Learning Management System Platform. The Technology Acceptance Model and the Technology Readiness Index model were combined to identify the critical factors influencing the intention to use Learning Management System. Fourteen hypotheses were proposed and tested using the Structural Equation Modelling method run in Partial Least Square software. The results indicated that eight hypotheses were accepted. The accepted hypothesis represents the criticality to consider innovativeness, job relevance, perceived enjoyment, perceived security and subjective norm in the Learning Management System usage during online learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

At a time when the people's increasing demand for organic vegetables can be an opportunity for PT Rumah Roti Indonesia to expand its market beyond the scope of PT Rumah Roti Indonesia. Organic certification is one way to expand the market. The aim of this study is analyze the effect of SNI 6729: 2016 certification on purchase intention and purchase behavior of organic vegetables in Indonesia so that PT Rumah Roti can take the right decision. To see the effect of SNI 6729 : 2016, this study uses the Theory of Planned Behavior model. Data processing was used in the PLS-SEM method. The results of this study prove that the variables perceived behavioral control, subjective norms, and perceived quality have a significant effect on purchase intention in organic vegetables and awareness has a significant effect on moderating the relationship between purchase intention and purchase behavior. In addition, it was found that purchase intention has a significant effect on purchase behavior. These results indicate that there is an influence of SNI 6729 : 2016 on purchase intention and purchase behavior of organic vegetables.

Abstract

Cognitive domains play a critical role in daily functioning. The prediction of cognitive stress state is important to better monitor work performance. This study aims to explore machine learning models to detect cognitive load or state using heart rate variability (HRV) signals. HRV data were recorded from thirty subjects during rest, two cognitive tasks (d2 Attention and Featuring Switcher task), and recovery. Seven HRV indexes from both time and frequency domains, extracted from raw R-R intervals, were used to identify whether subjects performed cognitive tasks or not. Five classifier models: linear support vector machine (LSVM), kernel SVM radial basis function, k-nearest neighbor (KNN), and random forest (RF), were trained and evaluated using a leave-one-out cross-validation approach. The accuracies and F1-score range from 0.54 to 0.62, with LSVM, showing the best. These acceptable performances indicate the machine learning approach could be used to further distinguish between rest and cognitive state. With the ubiquity of non-invasive and low-cost wearable devices, this finding offers insight to be incorporated into personal work performance monitoring in the digital age.
