Abstract

This study aims to develop smart ladder media assisted by kolintang musical instruments, determine the feasibility and interest in learning class I students at SD IT Bustanul Ulum, especially in mathematics subjects in the 2022-2023 Learning Year, especially in mathematics subjects. The research method used was a pretest and posttest conducted to measure the feasibility of the learning media developed. The results of the study revealed that the development of learning media in the form of smart ladder media assisted by kolintang musical instruments was declared feasible based on data analysis obtained through the validity test of material experts, media design experts, teacher responses, and student responses, the average was calculated to obtain a result of 84.2%, including in the category of very good / very feasible to use in the learning process. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest that have been carried out, there is an increase in student interest and learning outcomes before and after using smart ladder media assisted by kolintang musical instruments on addition and subtraction material that has been developed by 12% so that it can increase interest and affect the learning outcomes of grade I elementary school students

Abstract

To be able to survive in a world of work that changes and develops dynamically, humans are required to continue to improve their abilities periodically. Companies not only require good academic skills but also additional skills that support the company's needs. Relevant abilities (hard skills) balanced with qualified interpersonal skills (soft skills) will be very helpful in work. This ability is useful for creating career opportunities or improving career paths. So, students are required to have quality personal abilities before entering the workforce. The purpose of scientific writing is to provide a description of the self-competencies needed by a chemical engineering graduate as evaluation material for preparation for entering the real world of work. soft skills needed by a chemical engineering graduate, such as analytical skills, problem-solving skills, good communication skills, teamwork, and leadership skills. In this era of globalization, communication skills intersect with foreign language skills such as English and Japanese. Some multinational companies expect their employees to be able to speak foreign languages for the smooth operation of the company. Various efforts have been made by Chemical Engineering at Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang in order to accommodate students and help them develop their potential. Through several activities such as chemical engineering software training, procurement of foreign language classes, and routinely holding public lectures by presenting practitioner teachers from companies. It is hoped that chemical engineering graduates from Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang will have sufficient provisions to face the world of work.

Abstract

The problem of this research is whether there is an effect of vertical jump training on the volleyball smash ability of Luwuk Muhammadiyah University students. This research aims to determine the effect of vertical jump training on volleyball smash ability. The research method used is Quasi-Experiment, while the design is a time series experiment. The subjects of this research were the Muhammadiyah Luwuk Banggai University volleyball team, consisting of 12 athletes. The research results showed that the t value of the initial test and final test of volleyball smash ability was 19.621 and the sig value. 0,000. Because tilapia sig. 0.000 < α 0.05, then the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the Null Hypothesis (H0) is rejected. This means that there is an influence of vertical jump training on volleyball smash ability. The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of vertical jump training on the volleyball smash ability of the Luwuk Banggai Muhammadiyah University volleyball team.
