Abstract

The moral crisis in the generation of the nation must be addressed through education in schools to foster the character and values of the indonesia nation. This study aims to find out how the implementation and influence of 5S (Smile, greetings,courtesy) in character formation of studens in SD Muhammadiyah Sapen Yogyakarta. The type of research used is descriptive with data collection techniques, namely: data collection observation, interviews and documentasi. Results of applying research 5S (Smile, greetings,courtesy) done at various points, including: Shool grounds, school entrances and affective posts, namely the front room of the UKS, the computer lab, and the classroom door, the implementation of this affective post is based on a predetermined. Cultural influence 5S (Smile, greetings,courtesy) have a positive impact such as: respecting the older, greeting when meeting teachers and friends, and establishing good social interactions. While outside the school environment, it can be seen through inerviews with parents that the culture of 5S (Smile, greetings,courtesy) has many influences such as: daring to start greetings to those who are older, respecting the older and greeting when entering and leaving the house.

Abstract

One learning approach that is able to encourage students to learn actively is a scientific approach. a scientific approach is a learning approach whose activities include observing, asking questions, gathering information / trying, reasoning / associating and communicating.Scientific approach based on political education is a learning approach offered by researchers that is an approach by following the steps of a scientific approach by linking teaching material with political issues in the environment both the school environment and political problems in society. By applying this learning approach students are expected to more easily understand teaching material because it is directly related to its application in daily life so that learning becomes more meaningful and with political education based is expected to be one of the teacher's efforts in socializing politics among students.This research will discuss about efforts to improve students' statistical understanding with a scientific approach based on political education in the school environment.

Abstract

Evaluation of Curriculum 2013 Implementation in Al-Qur’an Hadits Lesson at Islamic State Senior High School 1 Kolaka of Kolaka District. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and todescribeteacher’s understanding, planning of learning, process of learning, implementation and results of the assessment of learning, problems and the solutions to solve themin Al-Qur’an Hadits Lesson at Islamic State Senior High School 1 Kolaka. This research is qualitative research with case study and evaluative method approach. Evaluation is done by collecting information in the form of data component of the curriculum implementation to then be compared with the standards of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Ministry of Education and Culture about Curriculum 2013. The results of this research about curriculum 2013 implementation curriculum in the Quran and Hadith lesson show that the Islamic State Senior High School 1 Kolaka that teacher’s understanding, planning of learning, process of learning, implementation and results of the assessment of learning are good and accordance with Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia number: 165 on Curriculum 2013 in 2014 and implementation of curriculum 2013 in Alqur’an and Hadits lesson. And problems are the teacher was not able to apply all kind of evaluation and lack of means of education. The solution to these problems is to deepen the teacher's knowledge about the method through the workshop and training and utilizing the Association of the lesson teacher. And utilization the infrastructure and fit the infrastructure up at Islamic State Senior High School 1 Kolaka.

Abstract

To achieve the nation's progress, Indonesia needs quality human resources, because our nation will not be able to compete with other countries without having quality resources. the main function of education is to prepare students (the next generation) with the abilities and skills needed to have the ability and readiness to plunge into the community (environment). Education is a strategic means to improve the quality of a nation, because the progress of a nation can be measured by the progress of its education. This study aims to determine the implementation of TQM in Athirah 1 Islamic Middle School in Makassar. The type of research used is Qualitative with data collection techniques, namely: data collection observation, interviews, and documentation. The implementation of TQM in Athirah 1 Islamic Middle School in Makassar still requires real evidence in the form of Accreditation Value and religious application of each student that is not only focused on science and technology in accordance with the Vision of Makassar 1 Athirah Islamic Middle School.

Abstract

Achievement of success in an organization depands of manager who runs the operational functions, such as planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling the people and others resource, including managing the curriculum. Headmaster as leader of educational institutions have big rolesfor creating conducive atmosphere that exist in work environment. The condusive atmosphere is most important factor for creating an outstanding teachers. This research is the kind of qualitative research. Data obtained from the results of the interviews, observation, and documentation in MAN 1 Kolaka. Technique of data analysis used are reduction of data, data analysis and presentation of conclusions. Test the validity of the data using triangulation, observation, diligence, analysis qualitative with the associate member and check. Teachers as educators have very important role to the progress of the Indonesian nation. Teachers as well as of the critical success factors (curriculum success). Especially teachers is the soul of the Madrasah or school. Duties and responsibilitiesof headmaster in the curriculum implementation 2013 could include activities implementation and managerial functions, including as planning, organizing, actuatingand controlling. In order for duties impelemtation and for that responsibilities, headmaster has required to master several competencies and managerial ability.

Abstract

Education is something that can not be separated from the lives of every human being, the quality of education obtained by a person since he was born and breathes fresh air in this world. There are three centers of education that must be experienced by children at least. 1. education in the family environment (informal), 2. education in the school environment (formal), and 3. education in the community (non-formal). The quality of education in Indonesia is currently considered by many to be of inferior quality, as an indicator of the quality of the Human Developman Index (Human quality index) is below other Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Thailand, and even Vietnam. There are several factors that cause the low quality of education in the country, among others: the learning process has not received optimal attention from the school, even the school has not become a center of learning and cultural center, the role of parents as primary and first educators especially to instill moral values, morals, virtues character, cultural, traditional and religious values ​​towards children, and no less important is the role of the community, as well as the role of Muslim clerics or scholars in implementing leadership or leadership in the life and relationships of Islam. Considering the task of educating children is not only the responsibility of the school or educational staff (formal), but it is the responsibility of both parents (family) as the primary and first (informal) educator and also the mandate which is carried on the shoulders of the murabbi (educators non-formal) which in the future Allah SWT will hold them accountable later on and will ask them what they have done as leaders. Actually each of us is a leader and one day we will be held accountable for our leadership (H.R. Bukhari Muslim).

Abstract

In order to make educational institutions more advanced, this is greatly influenced by the quality possessed by the head of madrasah in leading educators and education personnel. To achieve this, all madrasah principals must have a role in increasing their competence and developing their potential. Based on this, this study aims to explain the Role of Madrasah Principals in Improving Teacher Pedagogical Competence at MI Darul Istiqamah Amamotu, Samaturu District, Kolaka Regency. This study used a qualitative approach, with observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. In identifying data, using descriptive qualitative data analysis. In this study the researcher used three triangulations, namely triangulation of sources, methods and investigators. Source triangulation is used by comparing the results of observation data, interviews and documentation. Method triangulation is done by collecting circulating data such as observation, interviews and documentation. Investigator triangulation bends the data obtained by an informant with other informants. This study concludes that: 1) the role of the head of madrasah in improving the pedagogical competence of teachers at MI Darul Istiqamah Amamotu, namely: a) providing motivational encouragement to teachers, b) participating in various kinds of seminars, training and education and training, c) supervising teachers. 2) obstacles faced by the head of madrasah in improving the pedagogical competence of teachers at MI Darul Istiqamah Amamotu, namely: a) inadequate facilities and infrastructure, b) lack of financial support.

Abstract

Carrying out congregational prayers can train discipline, mutual respect, respect without any differences, and these good habits can be implemented into everyday life. Activity is an activity that is carried out sincerely and sincerely which leads to a positive collar. Activities can be defined as various activities that direct all energy, thought, and physical to achieve a goal. Prayers in congregation are prayers that are performed together, which are performed by at least two people. Behavior is a person's attitude which is manifested in actions. The method used is quantitative descriptive method. Based on the presentation and data analysis, it can be concluded that the congregational prayer activity has an impact on the behavior of students at SMA Negeri 1 Wundulako.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that researchers only reveal the evaluation of the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum in Aqidah Akhlak Subjects at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Kolaka, Kolaka Regency which includes: planning evaluation, evaluation of the learning implementation process, evaluation of the assessment of Aqidah Akhlak subjects and the obstacles and solutions that are carried out. to overcome these obstacles.This research is a qualitative research. This evaluation method focuses on evaluating teacher understanding, planning evaluation, evaluating the implementation process, evaluating assessment and assessment results as well as obstacles and solutions in the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum. Data obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis used, namely, data reduction, data analysis and presentation of conclusions. The data validity test used observation persistence, tringulation, descriptive analysis.The results of this study indicate that the evaluation of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak in MTs. Negeri 1 Kolaka. The results of the evaluation at the teacher planning stage make planning according to the guidelines. Evaluation of the teacher implementation process properly according to what was planned. Evaluation of the learning implementation process goes well which affects the absorption of students well, so that learning outcomes can be achieved properly (complete). The obstacles encountered were the teachers were not able to carry out all forms of assessment and the lack of learning facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, the solution that must be taken to overcome this is to strengthen knowledge for educators through workshops, training, and the use of the Subject Teacher Deliberation Forum. (MGMP) and make the most of the existing infrastructure in MTs. Negeri 1 Kolaka.

Abstract

In developing basic science and technology abilities and skills, the teaching materials used refer to the Islamic Religious Education learning strategy. As Islamic Religious Education or PAI is basically a normative effort to help a person or group of students in developing a way of life (how to live and take advantage of life and life in accordance with Islamic teachings and values), Islamic life attitudes, which are manifested in everyday life skills.First, the formulation of the problem in this study, what types of learning strategies are used by teachers at SDIT Al-Farabi Pomalaa. Second, what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the learning strategies of Islamic religious education teachers at SDIT Al-Farabi Pomalaa. The research objectives were to determine the Application of Learning Strategies for Islamic Religious Education Teachers at SDIT Al-Farabi Pomalaa and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing Islamic religious education teacher learning strategies.The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive type. The data is collected by conducting observations, interviews and documentation, then analyzed inductively.Based on the results of this study, the types of learning strategies used by Islamic Religious Education teachers were direct learning strategies and indirect learning strategies. Because students prefer to receive material with audio visual or film screenings related to material taken from auidio visual shows. Supporting factors, namely the school environment is a bit far from the crowd and noise such as the sound of vehicles on the main road, a safe school atmosphere and the school environment is always controlled, there is cooperation with the parents of students, and the surrounding community. The inhibiting factor is the lack of facilities needed by a teacher, students are still less active.
