Abstract

IP address is also called the identification codes, the computer on the network / internet, each every computer which incircuit to network have to own a IP address in each interface and IP address by self have to be unique because there may not be any computer using same IP address. IPv4 which is equal to 32 bit will difficult to obtain in the future, therefore needed a new development of the IP address, Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), known as Internet Protocol Next Generation (IPNG). IPng is a new third layer protocol designed to replace IPv4. The author attempt a comparative study using IPv4 and IPv6 in building a Local Area Network (LAN). This study is expected to be helpful for the users who will make the transition from IPv4 to IPv6.

Abstract

Bina Darma University is an institution that has intranet and internet networks are large. Computer networks are composed by a network that spread to several campuses. Each building will have space and laboratories. The number of intranet users who want to access the Internet will have an impact on network security, by increasing the number of deliveries virus, trojan or spam will be entered at the time of accessing the Internet network. In such conditions it is in this study make use of log router as a mechanism that is used to analyze network security at the University of Bina Darma. The scope of the discussion covers Laboratory Campus A. Based on the results of research and analysis, it can be concluded that there is still a lack of a PC to update the Operating System on a campus lab, or can be said to be very weak. Abstract

After implementation of IS, required post-implementation review to determine the effectiveness of IS used by looking the influence between variables in measuring the effectiveness of IS. The results of tests performed for variables F Test System Quality, Information Quality and Service Quality to variable Use had no significant effect, while for the t test is performed, the variable does not affect Service Quality significantly Variable on Use. F test on the variable System Quality, Information Quality and Service Quality of Variable User Satisfaction while obtaining significant results for the t test performed, the variable Service Quality variables had no significant effect on User Satisfaction. While the measurements for the F test between the variables System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, Use and User Satisfaction variables have a significant Net Benefits among all variables, the t test conducted prove the variable Service Quality no significant effect on the variable Net Benefits Keywords: Efektifitas Sistem Informasi, System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, Use, User Satisfaction, Net Benefits

Abstract

Needs of Distance Education (ODL) can not escape from the cycle of communication and exchange of information among actors PJJ. This study aims to measure the level of readiness of e-Learning as a learning medium on the implementation of ODL. Measurement of e-Learning readiness is based on the model of the e-Learning readiness expressed by an index, which is mapped using the index e-Learning reediness version Aydin & Tasci with a scale of 1-5 based on variables faculty, students, staff and infrastructure. The study was conducted by using descriptive statistical techniques by using a questionnaire as an instrument of collecting data from 50 respondents consisting of 15 lecturers, 5 employees and 30 students. Results of data processing shows e-Learning UBD as PJJ media has an index of 4.3, which means ready to deploy an e-Learning (ready go).

Abstract

Geographic Information System (GIS) is an information technology developed to know a location based on geographical location. One of them is Rambutan District whose population data has not been shown in the form of geographic information system, so that the decision maker is difficult to know the spreading of population in that sub-district. In this research will be made Geographic Information System Population Dissemination which will show the data of the number of male population and the number of female population, the number of population of children at school age, and the number of population per village in Rambutan District. Abstract

Motivations that drive people to participate actively in an organization include the opportunity to get ahead. Opportunity to advance in an organization called the promotion (raising position). A promotion also means removal from a position to another position that has a status and a higher responsibility. Job promotion is one part of the placement program conducted by the company. For the companies looking for employees who have no qualifications assessed in accordance with the needs of the new positions needed to be promoted. To analyze employees according to particular occupations performed by the method of profile matching, where in this process must first determine competence (skills) needed by an office. In the process of matching profile outline a process of comparing an individuals competency in job competency so as to know the difference competence (also called GAP).

Abstract

This research was done at the University of Bina Darma Palembang. The purpose of this research is to help Bina Darma University in control valuation for lecturer’s performance . Training and Valuation Lecturer’s Performance Systems (KIDO) is expected to provide a sense of satisfaction and improve lecturer’s loyalty. UPMT Team (Integrated Quality Assurance Unit) had difficulty in assessing lecturer’s performance because the data processing software is now less effective or are still many deficiencies, such as the report generated only for that time period, the report generated only for the lecturer, report must be archived back into Microsoft Excel, the value of lecturer’s performance (KIDO) from the previous period can not be seen, etc.. So the authors make the analysis and design to overcome these problems. Analysis and design of information systems using object-oriented method with the tools (the tool), Unified Modeling Language (UML). Abstract

Abstract: Pondok Pesantren Qodratullah founded in 1972 is located Langkan vilage. Guiding and structuring continue to be developed with the reform in the field of education, methodology, development of infrastructure and expand the functions of the cottage as a faith-based educational institutions and public. Student who learn from different regions, namely South Sumatra, Aceh, North Sumatra, Riau, West Sumatra, Jambi, Bengkulu, Lampung and Jakarta. With a diverse area of origin of students, as well as the many activities in addition to education, the financial management of the students and the cottage needs to be improved. Therefore in this study have been developed e-finance using Extreme Programmimg. Where in the e-finance have a payment feature, the financial statements and reports arrears in payment of fees. E-finance has also been tested with a black box approach that states all the functional software running well. Kata kunci: E-finance, Qodratullah, Extreme Programming

Abstract

Website is one of the means to deliver sustainable information , it is used by the government to make the site as a tool for efficient and effective in conveying the information. However , the government website has not been optimized in use by the user, need to evaluate the level of acceptance of the site which can certainly increase the use of the website . This study uses the TAM variables perceived ease to use, perceptions of the benefits and common uses of the added variable of trust. This study researched by distributing questionnaires to people in Palembang, the results of the data processed with maximum likehood estimation techniques. The results of the hypothesiswill encourage the use of government websites. It can be concluded that when the perceived information useful and credible information (unconfirmed) will result in a persons desire to use an information system.
