Abstract

University Bina Darma in the management of payroll data done in 2 ways ie by PHP system to input absence teachers teach and Microsoft Excel system for calculating faculty salaries. Previous use of the system at the University of Bina Darma Palembang (UBD) there are still a lot of errors that occur, among others, were: salaries are calculated by the calculation are not the same as professor of finance because the lecturer did not get a paycheck from the financial, it is felt it is difficult for lecturers. To overcome this, the author intends to create a web-based payroll system using object-oriented methods with the tool design using UML (Unified Modelling Language). Besides, this system will produce a prototyping (modeling) which is the implementation of Web payroll UBD. Keywords:Salary, Apache, dan PHP.

Abstract

Abstract: The concept of electronic commerce is widely used todays society, or better known as e-commerce, information technology was born as globalization in economics. Social networking is one of the media of electronic commerce, which currently has a lot of users. The purpose of this study was to examine factors that influence e-commerce user on social networks, one of which is the facebook for online transactions. Data analysis performed in this study using multiple linear regression techniques to look at the variables that affect behavior variables commerce facebook users either partially or simultaneously. The results of this study are expected to provide empirical evidence about the factors that influence the behavior of users of facebook commerce in conducting online transactions. In addition the test results are also expected to give evidence about the dominant factors that influence user behavior in online transactions through social networking media. Abstract

Geographic Information System Asset mapping will provide convenience and several advantages at once in terms of: all attributes of recorded assets data and inventory in detail, achieving orderly administration of asset recording (additions, deletions, up-dating and others), data processing Asset quickly, so that information can be obtained more effectively and efficiently, providing convenience (supporting tools) in the decision-making process because it is built on the spatial concept. The problems that arise with so many local governments located in the province of South Sumatra is planning the utilization of assets that have not been optimal because the assets owned by the government of South Sumatra Province are numerous and spread geographically in several regions of the Regency and City. The solution of the problems raised is by utilizing for mapping the assets of the region. The method in this research using descriptive method and Spiral Model as system development method. Abstract

Implementation of information systems is one of the supporting facilities for the performance of an institution . Utilization Information System aims to simplify the task of the user in order to achieve savings in time, cost , and resource decision-making. User Satisfaction of an information system is one of the factors or measures of success for the development and implementation of Information Systems. This study analyzed the use of Information Systems service quality variables contained in the method of the Service Quality. The results of this study indicate that simultaneous or partially simultaneous or there is a significant and positive relationship between the variables in the study variables . While the regression analysis of the results obtained by the fact that the contribution of the five variables is 66.5 % of the variable User Satisfaction Information System.

Abstract

College is obliged to conduct research and community service, in addition to education. Institute for Research and Community Service Of Bina Darma University (LPPM-UBD) is an agency that coordinates research activities and community service and responsible to the Rector of the Bina Darma University. Processing research and community service at the University of Bina Darma has not been integrated in the software. In the process of sending a proposal or report is still done through the conventional paper media, CD, flashdisc and email. It also has not conducted an online promotion. To overcome this, the authors are interested in analyzing and designing Web LPPM-UBD using object-oriented method with the tool design using UML (Unified Modeling Language) and produce a prototyping (modeling) which is the implementation of the Website LPPM-UBD. Abstract

Abstract: English is no longer a rare thing. All education level has this subject as their main or additional lesson at school. One of the topics learnt is grammar. Well-managed grammar skill, of course, supports the learner either in oral or written communication. In addition, this helps the learner in writing formal and non-formal text such as letter, short message, and scientific article. Tense,in which people learn how to form sentences based on some patterns, is one of the most dominant sub-topics discussed in grammar. To easing the learners understand it, the writer try to create an android based application as a learning media for learners which can be used everywhere. However, this application can only be used by android operating system smartphones. At the end, this study aimed to see the implementation of android-based English tenses application. Abstract

The use of Internet technologies in education is part of the concept of educational technology in the form of media to facilitate teaching and learning process. In this research will focus only on the Internet network of research universities in the Municipality of Palembang. By applying the method of QOS (Quality of Service) to determine a number of factors or parameters that affect the quality of the Internet network through wired and wireless media in higher education sekotamadya Palembang. The QOS parameters is composed of bandwidth, throughput, delay, jitter and packet loss. The analytical tool used in this study using statistical software Biznet Speed Meter and Axence Net Tools. The results of measurements of QOS parameters will be compared with a standard internet network quality measurement standard of TIPHON version. Abstract

Prior to formal IQ test, individuals often use the media in a book or website exercise IQ test. Lately the media has been very popular with smartphone. To accommodate the facility smartphone, then the author will make an IQ test Android-based application that can be used as training media. The purpose of the study is to make an application exercise test IQ for the user to test his ability. This application is an application that used as a training tool for users to perform an IQ test. Application development method used is a wireless application development, which consists of planning, analysis of mobile users, scenario analysis, architecture design, implementation, testing, deployment, customer evaluation, and maintenance. Given the time constraints, the method of application development is used only to implementation. This application is used IQ tests using the Android operating system used in mobile phones based on Android.

Abstract

Web service was the new paradigm in implementation the distributed system went through web that used the basis of XML technology, XML is a markup languange which represents document that is exchanged via internet. With exact structure and definition, XML can be used for representation and communication of distributed relational database. This research focusses on database representation and synchronization between relational databases. Bina Darma University has of Education Office is spread and separated by distance which will make the distribution of data in terms of student is not very effective and efficient. Online distribution also does not help because it has to moved from one site to another to retrieve the data. This study aims to build a web services technology that is capable to integrating the data in the Bina Darma University. With take advantage of XML, the integration of data from Bina Darma university which have different databases can be done. Keywords: Web Services, Data Integration, XML
