Abstract

The development of technology nowadays is very rapid in various fields especially in industrialization that can support a reliable production process, one of which is a motor operated valve (MOV) which is expected to operate continuously. At PT TPPI, there are 37 motor operated valve that are installed using Modbus communication, which currently has a problem with communication namely blinking (opening and closing for a moment) which sits on the condensate trip pump so the refinery stops which can cause billions of rupiah in losses. With these losses, various tests are carried out so that they can find the cause of the MOV blinking that can increase the depth of the system. Checking or retrieving data based on Ohm’s legal theory, conductors, insulators, induction electric motors, motors ( Motor Operated valve), PLC, DCS and Modbus. Based on this theory. It can determine the resistance, isolator and conductor of the RS485 cable whether it is still good or not, besides that it can also know the ability of MOV, PLC, DCS whether it can still send signals using software modbus. This testing uses a Fluke brand multi meter with type 875 to measure the resistance that the resistance value obtained is greater than the calculation results, for testing isulation resistance using the Kyoritsu brand megger with the 3007A model the value is very good. To check DCS using Dell delta V server type 690 precision, it is found that serial communication cannot be redundant, whereas for checking PLC master station using Dell inspiration 1464 laptop with modscan 32 software, the results obtained PLC A can output signals and PLC B signal intermittent.  This research or this analysis can find out MOV blinking caused by cable resistance, PLC master station B and Modbus serial.DOI : https://doi.org/10.26905/jeemecs.v3i2.4163

Abstract

This paper presents the plan of the microstrip cluster radio wire on the 5.5GHz C Band application. The proposed radio wire comprises 4 rectangular patches with a microstrip line nourishing arrange set up employing a transformer impedance quarter wavelength coordinating strategy. On dodge grinding flaps influenced by the between patches dispersing, the fixed division to the adjoining radiation element is the collection to be wavelength with the value is 0.5. Thus, to realize tall pick up required by the 5.5GHz C Band details, the cluster comprised of 4 radiation element is connected where the radiation element is organized in 2x2 (pile x lines) arrangement. The receiving wire configuration is at that point conveyed on a phonetic white paper substrate in what the misfortune, digression thickness, and dielectric steady are 0.0016cm, 4.2, and 0.0001, separately. The Identification result of return loss, radiation design, pick up, and impedance coordinating are displayed continuously. From the result, it appears that the proposed receiving wire has a generally pick up of 8.95dB and the return mismatch of 32.98dB.

Abstract

In quail DOQ cultivation after the quail eggs hatch, DOQ (Day Old Quail) quail chicks need a warm place as a substitute for the mother to maintain the temperature of the body, because in this phase quail chicks have not been able to adjust to room temperature. If the temperature is not suitable, it will cause quail death. From these problems, a quail DOQ cage control system was made using microcontroller. This system consist of a DHT11 sensor as a detector of temperature and humidity, and Arduino as a controller of the system. The heat source in the DOQ room uses a DC bulb equipped with a blower to spread the heat, the signal from the sensor is used as a parameter controlling the temperature and humidity of the cage by adjusting pwm on Arduino when the temperature in the cage is too hot or less hot and the humidity is less humid. To display the temperature of the border space, a 16x2 LCD display is used. From the fuzzy logic test results obtained an error percentage of 1% humidity of 2% and a mortality rate of 0% and without using fuzzy logic a mortality rate of 20%.DOI : https://doi.org/10.26905/jeemecs.v3i2.4354
