Abstract

The control of rat pest in rice nurseries to obtain increased production continues to be done. In an effort to overcome the problem of rat pest various alternative controls have been carried out, both in technical culture, physical mechanics, and chemically. To reduce the undesirable effects of using chemicals to control rat pets, it is necessary to use other alternative rat pets control. Based on these problems, this study conducted various test to create a design that could be used to repel rat pests. The method used includes electrical and systematic design. The steps taken include the sate of literature study then designing, manufacturing hardware and software integrating the system and testing and analyzing the system. Considering these theories, it can find out the programming of microcontrollers, LDR sensors, Cameras, Internet Networks, NE555, Solar Panels, and Accu.This study uses several tests, including testing the LDR sensor, Camera, Internet Network, NE555, Solar Panel and Accu. LDR sensor is functions to detect rat objects, cameras to take video directly, internet network to send video from the microcontroller to the user, NE555 to emit ultrasonic soungd waves to repel rat pests, solar panels as a source of electrical energy, and accu as electrical energy storage that produced solar panels. From all of test above we get results when the LDR Sensor detects a rat then the NE555 will emit ultrasonic waves, then the camera sends video via iot to usser.

Abstract

Safety is a necessity in any case, as is driving. Many motorists today ignore safety in driving. Based on this innovation is needed in driving safety, automatic steering cars can be one of the driving safety solutions. This is because the automatic steering car uses a technological approach from various aspects ranging from deep learning, computer vision, sensor fusion, localization, control, unit path planning. In this discussion, the implementation of the line detection algorithm uses the hough transform and power steering methods. The results of the application of this method require a method to recognize the road markings with other things that are symmetrical in shape like a line, can be a shadow of a pole, a road divider, and so forth. Because the parameters of this method can only be used in ideal conditions. The overall application of this method successfully detects road markings with an accuracy of 75%

Abstract

To save energy nowadays is recommended to switch to renewable energy sources. In Indonesia, solar energy is abundant, so PLTS is made. The supply of PLTS is expected to reach maximum use. However, solar panels have many obstacles such as variations in temperature and sunlight intensity, MPPT systems are needed to find the maximum power point of the solar panels. Unfortunately, in Indonesia, the sunlight of short duration with the ideal irradiation time that can produce electricity from solar panels is 4 to 5 hours per day, so a PLN supply is still needed to support the continuity of the power supply. Because two sources are used, there is a problem where the load needs high continuity during power switching, so STS (Static Transfer Switch) is used for very fast power switching. Simulation results, when using EMR (Electromechanical Relay) the power transfer process takes 50ms or 5 cycles while STS takes 2ms or ¼ cycles. With very fast response to STS, sensitive equipment is kept safe from power quality disturbances such as voltage sag and voltage swell.

Abstract

Almost all factories use an automation system because the results are the fastest and better quality. Of course, these are the main factors in utilizing this automation system. However, in-home industries such as satay stalls, it is rare to find this automation technology. So we need a tool that is capable of baking the satay automatically. The solution was obtained by creating a roasting arm robot capable of engineering the satay roasting process based on the 28BYJ-48 stepper motor mechanism and the MG996R servo motor with Arduino UNO based control. This research is qualitative, quantitative experimental research fan. Data were collected by direct observation of the tools and interviews with satay traders. The results show that the roasting arm robot can carry out its duties optimally.

Abstract

In production, packaging is an essential factor. Especially if the product is in the form of food, the function of the packaging is to protect it from sunlight, dust, and other damage. There are still many who use the manual method in the home industry. The process still requires many human resources.For this reason, the design of an automatic powder packaging device based on the Atmega 16 microcontroller was made. This tool serves to package flour (flour, sugar, and coffee) packaged automatically using a microcontroller as the brain of the device. The initial packaging method was to put the powder in each container. Then the powder will come out automatically according to the input of the type of powder and the desired weight of the operator via the keypad. Then the powder enters the dose that Loadcell has installed as a weight detector displayed on the LCD. After the weight reaches the set point, the powder will enter the package. The package that has been filled with powder will be pressed using a sealer. From the tests carried out, the percentage of success reached 70%.

Abstract

Water is one of the human needs. There are many types of water that are needed and good for humans, including alkaline water and acidic water. Alkaline water has benefits, one of which is to improve the immune system. While acidic water has benefits, one of which is as an antiseptic or disinfectant. There are obstacles for this water-producing device, which is that it is still very expensive for water-producing equipment and it is still very rare to use solar energy as a source of electricity. The author will make a device that produces alkaline water and acid water with solar energy as a power source using a Solar Cell Module (MSS). Water ionizer is an instrument to ionize water and its mineral content by using water electrolysis method, so that the water ionizer can produce alkaline water and acid water. The tool in this study used a 20 WP solar cell module that stores electrical energy in a 12V 7AH battery. Other components used are the container water ionizer, PH4502C pH sensor, INA219 current sensor, DS18B20 temperature sensor which is connected to a microcontroller. The value of the current produced depends on the TDS of the water used, if the TDS of the water is high, the current generated is also high. Changes in pH obtained in this study with a maximum pH increase of 2.60 and a maximum decrease of 9,30 pH.

Abstract

In chopping Rebung for the home industry, they still use conventional methods and lack the application of technology. This, of course, causes the productivity and quality of the home industry products to be less than optimal. Productivity is influenced by several factors, including requiring workers to be more careful so that it requires a lot of concentration, worker fatigue, which makes it less optimal in using time, and the workers' speed. Therefore, the primary control system was made an automatic Rebung chopper based on the VFD with Arduino Uno. The 3-phase induction electric motor is used as a prime mover for chopping blades and control using VFD (Variable Frequency Drive). For the critical system, use a spring and open the pressing tube's lid using a servo motor and the buzzer as a monitoring medium. The test uses VFD to adjust the rotational speed of the electric motor. The test results show that at a frequency of 20 Hz with a speed of 147.8 rpm, it produces chops with a length of 3 cm in 2 minutes 54 seconds. At a frequency of 35 Hz with a speed of 221.2 Rpm, it produces 2 cm chunks in 1 minute 53 seconds. At a frequency of 50 Hz with a speed of 260.1 Rpm, it produces 1 cm chops in 1 minute 5 seconds. If chopping is done manually, it takes 5 minutes with an average length of 2 cm

Abstract

Parfume is a tool that we often use in our daily life. The fragrance of the perfume we use is also diverse to prevent user boredom. In addition, the smell of perfume is also a match for the consumer itself. The rapid development of technology lately indirectly affects the changes in the broader community. The many sophisticated inventions evidence the development of this technology.Along with developing this technology, the equipment can be created to facilitate and provide production speed. In other words, it can increase the quality and quantity of producing goods for the users of these tools. With these technological advances, it can be used to make perfume-ingredients mixing tools to manufacture one type of perfume using a microcontroller. The test results of this tool after manual settings are obtained automatically on measuring cup 1 containing 19cc, cup 2 containing 10cc, cup 3 containing 19cc, cup 4 containing 18cc, and cup 5 containing 29cc. With an average error rate from testing the entire system of 4,8%, the system is declared to be able to work well

Abstract

  The management of student academic data in thesis files in the Electrical Engineering Department, Trunojoyo University Madura (UTM) is still manual, resulting in a waste of time and energy in delivering information. In this study, the current system flow in UTM electrical engineering is described, then carried out by designing an effective system. The system design consists of a database design process. The system design consists of the database design process, web-based user interface design, and HTML creation (HyperText Markup Language). Designing a web-based thesis information system is the purpose of this study. It is displayed through a 50” inch monitor using a mini PC to present thesis information, progress in thesis work, details of the load supervisors, facilities that support students, and admins in making thesis administrative completeness. Later the system is designed to have a database that is useful for storing data and a web-based user interface to enter and retrieve the required data to be accessed anywhere, by several users en masse via an internet connection. The information presented is up to date.

Abstract

The shopping center switchboard system consists of several parts: a 20 kV cabinet to a 20 kV to 380 V step-down transformer, which is then provided to the user to control the newly upgraded LVMDP (low voltage main switchboard). Before distributing to users, they need to pay attention to the fixed power factor of the capacitor bank. Lack of an exemplary power factor will cause an inductive load on the capacitor bank, high temperatures due to high loads will damage the capacitor bank. A switchboard safety automation technology with a microcontroller control system has been proposed to complete this research. Microcontroller control system for switch safety includes Microprocessor (Arduino Nano), light sensor (LDR), temperature sensor (LM35DZ), LCD 16x2 I2C, actuator (fan, buzzer, three-phase network disconnect switch relay), switch (5 VDC relay), ADC As data input. The working principle of the microcontroller is: if the LM35DZ sensor detects the specified temperature, an alarm will be triggered, while the LDR sensor detects a spark, the alarm will be triggered as a danger warning signal and cut off the power grid. Equipment designed to prevent switchboard safety caused by high temperatures or sparks can prevent fires.
