Abstract

Abstract: Counseling as a discipline that focuses on advocating for problem-solving demands to be carried out by individuals who have ideal qualifications so that the counseling carried out can be successful. Several figures have formulated certain ideal criteria for both counselors and counselees. Meanwhile, the book Adab al-Alim wa al-Mutaallim by Sheikh Hasyim Asy'ari has an interesting discussion, namely the classification of the ideal personality of alim (teacher) and mutaallim (student). This concept then makes researchers interested in discussing it from the point of view of counseling science. The purpose of this study is to describe the ideal personal concept of alim and mutaallim and will then be adopted with a counseling approach. The problems to be answered are, 1) what is the ideal personal concept of the counselor in the book of Adab al-Alim wa al-Mutaallim? 2) what is the concept of the counselee's ideal personality in the book of Adab al-Alim wa al-Mutaallim? To answer this problem, the researcher first describes the data related to the ideal personality of the pious and mutaallim and analyzes it (content analysis). From these data, the researcher describes it into categories, continues it in several factors, and then concludes inductively to build an ideal personality theory for counselors and counselees. The results of this study indicate that the ideal personality of the counselor and counselee by adopting the pious and mutaallim personality is divided into two parts, the first is personal and interpersonal personality. The two personal personalities include the entire personality of the counselor and counselee which is internal and not directly related to the opponent. While interpersonal personality is a personality that is directly related to and has an impact on the opponent.

Abstract

Abstract: The semiotic interpretation of Reyog as an intangible cultural treasure and a representation of Ponorogo people's historical knowledge is still debatable, especially in light of Reyog Ponorogo's failure to become one of the nominees to be presented to UNESCO in the second week of April 2022. This research explains how a) Reyog Ponorogo as a local culture requires socio-religious values and b) the historical construction of Reyog Ponorogo has strengthened the reality of social change. Child Reog Performance and Drama "Songgolangit Sayemboroo" on December 11, 2021, on the Youtube Channel of the East Java Pavilion, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah was studied (TMII). This qualitative research uses a constructivist method. Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis identifies denotation, connotation, and myth in Child Reog and Songgolangit Sayemboroo. The study found that a. structured denotation relates to valued artwork. Reyog Ponorogo, drums, demung, saron, Peking, trumpet, gong, kempul, bonang, slenthem, gender, xylophone, violin, zither, and angklung are cultural values. The Child Reog Show and Drama "Songgolangit Sayemboroo" are put on because of how history was made to seem. Construction interpretation is a myth that isn't necessarily about mythology. The online presentation shows that the social reconstruction of Ponorogo has lasted a long time in the form of a vernacular building in the Reyog Ponorogo style which requires historical values which are very important for cultural development. Reyog's art and dance performances are part of Ponorogo's history to preserve art, culture, and noble legacy and promote equal rights for women. In a family-run government, human rights breaches and gender inequalities may occur. Reyog mentioned a critical lesson in the Quran Chapter 51 verse 56 and Chapter 4 verse 36 about a wonderful lady's spiritual effort to love God without damaging or hurting others, let alone both parents' hearts.

There are two research questions discussed in this study, how are the dynamics of religious moderation in Madura? How to strengthen religious moderation in Madura through pesantren religious social networks? This study is a literature review that uses qualitative research. Sources and types of data in this study are secondary data, especially data from the literature. By analyzing based on the perspective of social networking theory from John Arundel Barnes, this study finds that in the culture of the Madurese community, pesantren is an institution of da'wah and religious education that has a major role and influence in shaping the religious reality of the community. Abstract

Abstract: Haji Mutamakkin was a Javanese cleric in the era of the reigns of Amangkurat IV and Pakubuwono II. Ketib Anom (a palace cleric) ruled that he had violated the Islamic faith by owning a dog named Abdul Kahar and Kamarludin. These two names sounded similar to a Khatib and a Mataram Palace official. This study aimed to discover Haji Mutamakkin's motivations for owning a dog. As a cleric, of course, this was a controversial action and violated the Shari'a. Haji Mutamakkin was described as a controversial figure in Serat Cebolek, in contrast to the opinion of the people around Kajen, who considered him as Allah's guardian. The focus of this is, what was Haji Mutamakkin's motive for naming his two pet dogs? So far, when people talk about Haji Mutamakkin, they only see his Sufistic thoughts, even though there are many sides that have not been revealed, one of which is what we reveal in this research. This study applied a literature with a qualitative descriptive method. This research approach is the study of cultural communication and phenomenological hermeneutics of Paul Ricoeur. This study found that the political transition from Amangkurat IV to Pakubuwono II benefited Haji Mutamakkin. It was proven by granting an amnesty from Pakubuwono II to Haji Mutamakkin, so he was not sentenced to death. The Keraton cleric’s accusations about Haji Mutamakkin's pet dogs did not bother Pakubuwono II; in fact, he believed that Haji Mutamakkin's actions were part of cultural communication and political resistance to Palace officials who only served personal interests, as Patih Danuraja did when he conspired with VOC.
