Abstract

The development of national law is still in process. The national law in the futuremust provide certainty of the protection of human rights. The flow of globalizationhas given every citizen broad access to understand the value and concept of humanrights protection. The problems in this research are: How is the concept of humanrights in Indonesia? 2) How are the human rights violations occurring in Indonesiaand the settlement efforts? 3) How is the urgency of the development of nationallaw that is oriented towards the protection of human rights in the future? Thisresearch uses normative approach. The research data used is secondary data in theform of library materials. The analysis used the induction-interpretationconceptualization.The results of this study show: human rights are a fundamentalright. Every human being has a degree, dignity and equal rights. Many grosshuman rights violations in Indonesia. Human Rights Court ever held in Indonesiayet, but considered to be blunt. Development of national laws on the protection ofhuman rights should be oriented in line with the global demands that each countrymust uphold human rights.Keywords : Development of national law, orientation, human rights.

Abstract

Along with the era of globalization, free trade to enter the market of a country ismarked by the entry of goods from abroad and the impact of one of them is tothreaten the local industry. The aims of this research are: (1) to know the legalprotection of small and medium industries in facing global challenges, (2) Gainway of developing the resources of small and medium industries in order to havecompetitiveness in global era. The type of research is normative research, type andsource of data is secondary data and data source using literature study, dataanalysis technique using deduction logic. Conclusions: (1) small and mediumindustry protection policy through RIPIN, KIN and further elaborated in provincialand district government or city level; (2) In order to realize national industrialdevelopment objectives, SME development efforts need to be continuously carriedout through development strategy through : Human Resource Development (HR)Industry; Employment; Utilization of technology, innovation, and creativity.Key Words : Legal Protection, Small Industry, Medium Industry

Abstract

The objective of this article is to understand the general context of the CheeWang Kan village, including of change in Chee Wang Kan livelihood under theprocess of capitalism. This study employed the concept of community economy.In-depth interviews with 10 key informants and 103 household representativeswere applied together with guided questions. The study found that the previouspattern of community economy in Chee Wang Kan village, since 1924, wasagriculture, based on cropped rice for their own consumption and fish from theChee River for their own consumption and for sale. Since 1989, the advance ofagriculture technology meant that they started to use walking tractors on theirfarms. The pattern of the community economy in Chee Wang Kan village changedto be agriculture products for sale. Prior to 2000, area suffered flooding that ledmore laborers in the community to migrate to find work in Bangkok. Consequently,this changed the villagers’ livelihoods, which became a mixture of non-agricultureand agriculture products for sale. This situation continues to the present time.However, the pattern of community economy in Chee Wang Kan village hasadapted to suit the context of the community, having not only agriculture but also anon-agriculture pattern. This has ensured the maintenance of the communityeconomy pattern, under the influence of capitalism, to the present time.Keywords : Community livelihood, Community economy, Capitalism, Chee River, CheeWang Kan

Abstract

Law Number 25 Year 2007 is the investment law of Indonesia which replacesLaw Number 1 year 1967 on Foreign Investment and Law Number 5 year 1968 onDomestic Investment. This new law no longer distinguishes foreign and domesticinvestment. The formation of law Number 25 Year 2007 is the commitment ofIndonesia upon ratification of the (WTO Agreement).Government policy in regulation of capital investment and investment inIndonesia is more important to increase investor interest in Indonesia. Because ofthis law, capital market development required in order to realiting legal certainlyinvestment. Abstract

Environmental issues in the region have become one of the world's problemsthat surfaced in the last quarter century, including in Indonesia so thatenvironmental issues are very interesting to talk about. The division ofauthority between the central and regional governments which are thendelegated to the regions widely, in relation to the Law on RegionalAutonomy, namely Law No. 23 of 2014 on Regional Government, thisopens the opportunity for the region to determine its policy broadly,especially considering the investment policy in wide open areas in theregion to support the National Development. In this paper the authors usethe type of normative legal research, then the type of data used in thiswriting is the type of secondary data. Secondary data is data obtainedthrough literature study. Secondary data obtained from a number ofinformation or facts obtained indirectly, namely through literature studyconsisting of documents, literature books, and others related to the problemunder study. Techniques used in this writing the author uses the technique ofWriting Libraries is a technique in the form of literature studies of booksand literature and legislation related to the subject matter studied. Theauthority of the relevant area of the Environment shall be contained inArticle 12 of Law Number 23 Year 2014 concerning Regional Government,paragraph (2), letter e. National and Regional Policy in EnvironmentalManagement. In accordance with Law 23 of 2014 on Regional Governmentand Government Regulation no. 25 of 2000 on the Authority of theGovernment and the Authority of Provinces as Autonomous Regions, in thefield of the environment provides political recognition through transfer ofauthority from the central government to the regions. Abstract

Globalization is a global process which is unavoidable by everyone whoKeywords: Globalization, Affirmative Policy, Gender Equality.wants to interact with the international world because those who avoid it willbe isolated from the advance and even from the internationalassociation. Globalization as a must gives big impacts to the human lifeincluding the political, economical, social-culture, and legal impacts. Law is neversterile from the aspects outside law, because law is always dynamic and willfollow the society’s development. When the Globalization era emerges, lawalso follows the rhythm of the latest era. The interesting thing is that law andglobalization is related to the emergence of the movement of awareness on thegender equality in all over the world. The movement which was pioneered bythe feminist movement in all over the world wanted Human Rights equal WomanRights. The existence of CEDAW Convention which was later ratified by theIndonesian government.Gender equality is a hard-struggle of women in reaching the globalcommitment on the respect of Human Rights. Gender inequality is veryapprehensive especially in the developing countries in the world.Inequalities in politics, law, economy, and social cause the low level ofparticipation of women community and relatively have not raised theirfunction as the balanced competitor compared to the men community and thesocial construction that has a significant influence on the gender inequality.Gender equality is a global movement as a reflection on the inequalityagainst women. There is a stereotype or a negative labelling that viewswomen are lower (subordinate) than men. Even, many myths and beliefs thatcause women are often viewed from merely sex aspect, not from their ability,opportunity, and human aspects universally, that is as human being who hasintelligence, logic, feeling, and equality before the law.In the political field, the determination of representative target (quota) is as muchas 30% for women in the candidacy of Members of The House ofRepresentative in central and regional that aims at knowing the correlationbetween the woman representation in the parliament and the process of publicstrategic decision making. It means to see whether the affirmative policyfunctions effectively and is not only formality. Therefore, it caused an obstaclein struggling the strategic issues in the parliament, although the participation ofevery member of the house of representative is open democratically in everystrategic decision making.

Abstract

Wayang Wong is a culture which continues to live and thrive in Sriwedari Park, Surakarta,for 107 years. It’s a culture which was born in 2011 and survives and grows in thesociety because it has philosophical, artistic and moral values, so that it doesn’t onlyprovide entertainment but also lessons for people. Wayang orang is an adaptation of shadowpuppet which emerged earlier in the society and was even considered religion by Javanesepeople. Wayang orang performance is an art performance which combines dance, theatre,literature, voice and pentatonic music harmoniously and is filed by aesthetic values(edi-peni) and moral philosophical lessons (adi-luhung). There are four analysis units usedin this paper, which are puppets as mythology, character, story, puppet master anddirecting. Cultural communication by Wayang Wong Sriwedari (WWS) community onFacebook is done by a group of volunteers who are considered successful incontributing in increasing the number of audience and attention of public policymakers inthe preservation of wayang orang as a part of the national cultural wealth.Keywords: Wayang Orang, Cultural Communication, Cultural Value and Social Media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the level of religiositybetween students from public universities and Islamic universities. Religiosity is animportant aspect to be examined in the field of consumer behavior considering religion isthe most fundamental cultural factor that influences consumer choice of products andservices. Religiosity in this study refers to research by Khraim (2010) which is measuredusing four dimensions that is religious education, financial services, current issues, andproducts with sensitive elements. Respondents are students of two state universities inPekanbaru City. Data is collected using questioner and then analyzed by usingindependent sample t test. The results showed no significant differences betweenrespondents who came from public universitiy and Islamic university. Pekanbaru city isinhabited by the majority of Muslims make the level of religiosity of students is not showdifferences even though the Islamic university curriculum contains more elements ofIslamic education. The results of this study can be a reference for marketers to set targetmarketing to Muslim consumers in general in Pekanbaru City.Keywords: Islamic University; Public University; Religiosity

Haji Misbach is one of the movement figures in Solo known as the idea of Islamiccommunism.
