Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and ability, analyze the effect of motivation and work ability on employee performance, analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance and to analyze whether job satisfaction is a mediating variable between motivation and work ability on performance at the Financial Management Agency and Regency Assets Deli Serdang. The population of this study were all employees of the Deli Serdang Regency's Financial and Asset Management Agency, amounting to 60 people. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using PLS-SEM. The results showed that directly, work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, work ability had a negative and not significant effect on employee job satisfaction, work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work ability had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, satisfaction work has a positive and not significant effect on employee performance. Indirectly, job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between motivation variables with employee performance variables

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of supervision, discipline and motivation on teacher performance in public elementary schools in the Education Office of the UPT Medan Area, Medan City, either partially or simultaneously. The population in this study was limited to the teachers of SD Negeri in the UPT Education Office, Medan Area, Medan City, totaling 208 people. Approach is used to determine the sample. Given the large number of populations above, the researcher determines the number of samples using the Slovin formula. Thus the sample in this study was 68 public elementary school teachers in the UPT Education Office, Medan Area, Medan City. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires (Questioner) and interviews (interview). While the data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The results showed that partially, supervision, discipline and motivation had a positive and significant effect on the performance of teachers at the State Elementary School of the UPT Education Office, Medan Area, Medan City. Simultaneously, supervision, discipline and motivation have a positive and significant effect on the performance of teachers at the State Elementary School of the Education Office of the UPT District of Medan Area, Medan City

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the effect of profitability ratios and activity ratios on current ratios in pulp and paper sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange for the 2013-2017 period. The variables used in this research are Current Ratio, Return On Asset, Return On Equity, Total Asset Turnover and Working Capital Turnover. The approach used in this research is an associative approach. The data technique in this study is to use the documentation method, namely financial statements in the form of balance sheets and income statements in the Pulp and Paper Sub-Sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression, the simultaneous classical assumption test, and the coefficient of determination. Data processing in this study used the SPSS (Statistic Package for the Social Sciens) 20.00 software program for Windows. The results of this study indicate that partially Return On Asset has a significant positive effect on Current Ratio, Return On Equity has a significant positive effect on Current Ratio, Total Asset Turnover has a significant positive effect on Curren Ratio, Working Capital Turnover has a significant positive effect on Curren Ratio. Simultaneously, Return On Asset, Return On Equity, Total Asset Turnover and Working Capital Turnover have a significant positive effect on the Current Ratio.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence between. The method used is causal association with a quantitative approach. Variables are measured by a Likert scale. Data processing using SPSS software version 24.0. The test method was carried out in the form of a questionnaire list of questions. In this study, the total population was narrowed from the total number of employees as many as 813 employees, by calculating the sample size using the Slovin technique so that the population became 89 people. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test and the coefficient of determination test. The results showed a positive and significant influence between compensation and employee performance, job satisfaction had an effect but not significant on employee performance, and the test results jointly compensation and job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the financial distress conditions in plantation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018 using the Altman Z-Score, Springate, Zmijewski and Grover methods. And to find out the level of accuracy of each method and the error rate of the Altman Z-Score, Springate, Zmijewski and Grover methods.This study uses a descriptive approach, which aims to determine the value of an existing variable.  The data analysis method used is the Altman Z-Score, Springate, Zmijewski and Grover methods. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in results between the Altman Z-Score method, the Springate method, the Zmijewski method and the Grover method in analyzing the company's financial distress. The Altman method is the most appropriate and accurate method in predicting financial distress conditions in plantation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the highest accuracy rate of 76.00%, then the second is the Zmijewski method with an accuracy rate of 70.67% and the last Springate and Grover methods with the same level of accuracy that is equal to 69.33%

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam keberlangsungan hidup suatu perusahaan. Tanpa adanya kinerja yang baik maka perusahaan akan banyak mengalami kegagalan bahkan kerugian baik secara financial ataupun non financial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana cara meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Tanjung Karang dengan metode human resources scorecard (HRSC) dan pembobotan AHP. Perspektif yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan ditinjau dari hasil penelitian ini adalah perspektif operasi dengan strategi meningkatkan jumlah pegawai yang mengikuti survey alignment, perspektif pelanggan dengan strategi mengurangi SAIFI, perspektif strategi dengan cara memenuhi dokumen syarat sertifikasi, dan perspektif financial dengan strategi memenuhi biaya pokok penyediaan.

Abstract

The purposive of this study is to test and analyze the influence between the perceived value to customer identification mediated by customer satisfaction on Indomaret Store Brand in Maranatha Christian University Bandung. This research uses causal explanatory research, with the population taken is students of economic faculty of Maranatha Christian University who shop at minimarket Indomaret in bandung city. Nonprobability sampling method used is the purposive sampling. Aquisition of primary data can be done by distributing questionnaires to consumers who researched to be respondent. Tecnique of data analysis uses path analysis. Based on the hypothesis test, researchers found the existence of significant influence between the perceived value towards customer satisfaction of 0.389, perceived value against the identification of 0.578, and the perceived value against customer identification mediated by customer satisfaction of 0.089.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Debt To Equity Ratio and Return On Assets on Price to Book Value with Managerial Ownership as Moderation Variables in Property and Real Estate Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research uses an associative approach method. The population used in this study were 61 property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. While the sample taken is 12 companies using purposive sampling. TThe data analysis technique in this study is to use regression multiple linear. The results of this study indicate partially that the Debt To Equity Ratio has no significant effect on the Price Book Value. Return On Asset has a significant effect on Price Book Value. Debt To Equity Ratio does not moderate the effect insignificantly on Managerial Ownership. Return On Asset does not moderate the effect insignificantly on Managerial Ownership. Simultaneously there is a significant influence between Debt To Equity Ratio and Return On Asset Against Price Book Value in Property and Real Estate Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of brand image on purchasing decisions, to know and analyze the effect of brand awareness on purchasing decisions, and to find out and analyze the effect of brand image and brand awareness on purchasing decisions of LTD helmet products (Case Study of Faculty of Economics Students And Business, Muhammadiyah University, North Sumatra). The approach used in this research is an associative approach. The population in this study were all students of FEB UMSU and the sample used in this study were 100 people using accidental sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques in this study used Multiple Linear Regression, Classic Assumption Test, t Test and F Test, and the Coefficient of Determination. Data processing in this study uses the SPSS software program (version 24.00). Partially known that brand image has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. Partially, it is known that brand awareness has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously known brand image and brand awareness have a significant influence on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the achievement of competitive advantage through product innovation, product quality, and service quality at coffee shops in Bandung. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and verification with a quantitative approach. The test tool used is multiple regression analysis. Using questionnaires and interviews about competitive advantage through product innovation, product quality and service quality as a means of collecting data with coffee shop owner respondents. The results of descriptive research which show that the Competitive Advantage at Coffee Shops in Bandung is in the poor category, the product innovation that has been done is still not good, the product quality given is still not good, the service quality that has been provided is quite optimal. Furthermore, the results of verification research show that Product Innovation, Product Quality and Service Quality have a significant effect on Competitive Advantage either partially or simultaneously. Product Innovation Variable is the variable that has the most dominant influence on Competitive Advantage.
