Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the meaning of the word qiradatan (ape) which is found in several verses in the Qur'an, whether this word contains the full meaning of ape or just its nature. Researchers examine the meaning of the word qiradatan using contemporary interpretations, namely the Quraish Shihab interpretation and the Wahbah Zuhaili interpretation. The method used in this research is a qualitative method which leads to an explanation of the descriptive analysis model, namely classifying the word "qirodatan" by describing it, then analyzing its implications. The approach applied in this research is a language and language approach, with data collection techniques through library research. The research carried out resulted in the conclusion that the word monkey has a deeper meaning than just an animal. The word monkey here shows the nature of this animal. The curse of being a monkey is because monkeys are animals that always reveal their private parts. The contrasting shape of their fur and skin means that the private parts of monkeys are very visible so that the monkeys here have no shame.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the economic policies of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Emirates in anticipating the effects of fiscal policy on their national economies. These policies include international economic policy, fiscal policy, and monetary policy. This research uses qualitative research methods through scientific observation by collecting non-numerical data, focusing on creating solutions and meaningfulness. The results of the research show that there are efforts by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its international economic policy. On the other hand, monetary policy is needed to stabilize the economy by supporting solid fiscal policy when the global world is flooded with liquidity such as nominal interest rates that are close to or below zero, so that the impact of lowering interest rates can trigger an outflow of cash from the stock market. In this case, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was very quick and responsive in implementing the combination of these policies. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates government is taking strategic steps, including in tax policy. This country issues various regulations related to taxation in terms of collecting tax funds and using tax funds through the state budget.

Abstract

Fiscal policy is considered an integral part of the economic system governed by Islamic principles. Before the advent of Islam, the pre-Islamic Arab society had an economy based on trade, agriculture and property ownership, albeit without formal fiscal regulations. After Islam was introduced, the fiscal system began to be regulated in more detail. Zakat became an important component in fundraising to support needy Muslims and develop social infrastructure. Additionally, jizyah was also implemented, which is a tax levied on non-Muslims living under the protection of an Islamic state. During the Prophet's time, the Islamic economic approach aimed to achieve social and economic justice through fair distribution of wealth. During the reign of the Rashidun Caliphs, Islamic fiscal policy remained rooted in the principles of justice and solidarity. For example, Umar bin Khattab formulated various economic policies to support people's welfare, including land distribution to farmers, infrastructure development, and price control. Taxes and state revenues were directed to support social, religious and public interest programs. This descriptive-analytical research falls into the category of qualitative research, with a literature review approach focusing on primary materials, especially those related to Islamic economic thought.

Abstract

In countries that embrace a dual banking system, such as Indonesia and Malaysia, the monetary policy implemented is also a multiple monetary policy. Both Islamic and conventional monetary policies have the same goal, which is to create stable money value and full employment. This article aims to analyze the transmission of convergence monetary policy implemented by Indonesia and Malaysia with two objectives: first, to identify the transmission channel of dual monetary policy in Indonesia and Malaysia; second, to compare the effectiveness mechanism of dual monetary policy implementation in Indonesia and Malaysia. The analysis of several empirical studies concludes that the transmission channels, both Islamic and conventional in the monetary policy of dual banking system in Indonesia and Malaysia are the same, but the tendency of the channel depends on the real conditions of each country's economy. The mechanism of the effectiveness of monetary policy transmission in Indonesia and Malaysia is almost similar, namely the transmission instruments of Islamic monetary policy and or elements of Islamic banking that can withstand inflation as well as increase economic growth and development.

Abstract

Muhammad Syahrur, a renowned Islamic thinker in the contemporary era, has made significant contributions in this field. According to Syahrur, there is no need to stick to traditional interpretations in understanding the verses of the Koran. For example, in his analysis of QS. Ali-Imran: 14, he suggests that the word "nisa'" should not be translated literally as "adult woman" because it is not relevant to the current context. Syahrur's research uses a library research approach and utilizes semantic methods. He introduced the concept of la taradduf theory, which states that a word can have many meanings depending on the context of the verse. Syahrur emphasized the equality of women and men, rejecting the notion that women should be treated as objects of oppression or equated with inanimate objects.

Abstract

Fiqh is an element of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum both in schools and madrasas. At school, PAI learning requires a time allocation of 2 JP, which ideally would not be enough to achieve learning objectives. But for boarding school-based schools, PAI learning, especially fiqh, gets its own allocation, both in the form of learning outside of school and in the form of programs in dormitories. The aim of this research is to analyze the fiqh curriculum, especially in boarding school-based schools, using a qualitative case study approach. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that the fiqh curriculum which is integrated with the school curriculum at Riyadhul Jannah Modern Middle School has more benefits than being able to cover deficiencies in learning allocation at school, the Islamic boarding school curriculum can also directly ensure the practice of fiqh in students' daily lives with the help of The supervisor or guardian of the room. The role of Fiqh learning in the dormitory, even though it uses conventional learning by reading the yellow book and the teacher explaining it, actually makes learning more effective and efficient because students and teachers have more freedom in explaining or raising topics related to deficiencies or problems in the field of daily worship. Abstract

Nasr Hamid Abu Zaid is one of the most influencial figure of hermeneutics in the muslim world. Among his thoughts there are several pros and cons among muslims. What is quite well known is that Alquran is a muntaj saqafi (cultural product) and a muntij saqafi (cultural producer). He also interpreted the concept of jinn with a new understanding from what society had previously believed (demitology). This paper aims to reveal the concept of hermeneutics offered by Nasr. The  method  used  in  this  journal  is  qualitative descriptive  analysis,  through  literature  studies  of  documents  and  previous  research  texts.  The primary   data   source   is   Nasr’s works   and   secondary   data   obtained   from commentaries and several journals on Nasr's thought. This journal also tries to explain Nasr's main thoughts by first knowing the educational background surrounding it. So, the product of his thinking cannot be separated from his background, namely Arabic language and literature, which causes him to continue trying to explore the contents of Alquran by studying in detail aspects of its language.

Abstract

In the teaching and learning process, modules become important teaching materials to facilitate independent learning. The module functions as independent learning material, substitute for the role of educator, evaluation tool, and reference material. The use of modules can be a student's choice of approach to overcome learning challenges and increase student creativity. The aim of this research is to develop an evaluation tool in the form of a module in learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SDN Mandalawangi, Cianjur Regency. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and some documentation. The results of the research show that the development of module evaluation tools for PAI learning at SDN Mandalawangi, Cianjur Regency, shows success in several assessment aspects, but requires more attention to the suitability of the material with indicators of competency achievement, image readability, use of image media, efficiency of evaluation tools, and other aspects.
