Abstract

Batam State Polytechnic declares itself as a tertiary institution which is very concerned about the quality of its education. This achievement was reported through the implementation of an education quality assurance system through study programs accredited by BAN-PT. One of the quality assurance services for education is through feedback studies on learning services through study programs. Almost every year in Batam State Polytechnic, study programs apply for accreditation to BAN-PT. Then along with these activities needed data quickly and completely. However, in reality, it is not uncommon for the drafting team to experience obstacles in obtaining the data. Based on this, in this study, an electronic PBM questionnaire application was made from several parties including lecturers, students, alumni, and alumni users (stakeholders). Making an application using the Research and Development (RnD) method and analysis in the Interface and Experience section. The results of the study with the average achievement percentage reached 88.3% showed that the user interface of the E-Questionnaire website application was very well received by the user.

Abstract

Carassius Auratus, also known as goldfish, is the most commonly kept ornamental fish in an aquarium that has a variety of species, shapes, and colors. Goldfish anatomy is almost similar between species so it is difficult to distinguish. Goldfish identification has several processes to determine the level of success. One process that is very important for identification is segmentation. Segmentation is the stage to separate objects and backgrounds. Good segmentation results will provide maximum feature extraction results and it should impact on optimal identification results. This research aims to create a system that can be used to segment goldfish fish objects in the background using the Expectation-Maximization method. Expectation-Maximization is an algorithm for estimating a parameter in a function by using Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE). Goldfish fish species total of 72 images each totaling 216. Goldfish segmentation evaluation results using the Expectation-Maximization method can work well with an accuracy rate of 89.14%. Analysis of the results of the imperfect fish image segmentation is influenced by white light and the background color is almost similar to that of the goldfish. The results of the best goldfish image segmentation are influenced by a good goldfish image when the image capture process at the time of the screenshot has a stable focus and is not blurry so that the edges of the goldfish object appear clearly and sharply.

Abstract

The internet is developing so fast, from the kinds of internet technolgy to something that is needed by every user. Information needs and an extensive network system give the easier to access. One of them is wireless, wireless is very helpful for internet users. However, the problem often arises in wireless securing network. Many attacks that make the username and password of the users get hacked. Based on these problems, this study focuses on securing when users login user a device. One of the innovative technologies that be able to solve these problems is Blockchain Technology. By using blockchain technology adversaries will find the difficulty to change and modify the same data on all computers at the same time because it will take the time so long to crack the encryption code on each block of sata on the entire computer network. This study used literature study as a data collection technique. Browsing method using the internet or other network media. This result of this research is the system prototype has been successfully built. The prototype for the development of this login system application has succeed in securing data such as of username and password using blockchain technology. User data is secured and converted into encryption block.

Abstract

This research is a development from previous research in the form of digital module learning media, the development carried out is in the form of adding features that contain learning videos to support digital learning materials online. This research was conducted at SMK Miftahul Huda, which is located at Jalan Lintas Timur Km 124, Tugu Agung Village, Lempuing District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. During the Covid 19 pandemic, the teaching and learning process at many schools was hampered in the delivery of material, because there were no meetings. face to face to convey material. Most of the delivery of material currently only uses WhatsApp in the form of photos of the material and examples of this make students confused in understanding the material, examples and doing their assignments. The method used in the development of the instructional video features to support online digital learning materials at Miftahul Huda Vocational High School is linear sequential model. The solution to the problems faced by SMK Miftahul Huda is by developing learning media in the form of a learning system equipped with videos and online digital materials that can be accessed using a smartphone. This developed learning system can make it easier to get material and examples that are attached with learning videos so that it makes it easier for students to learn and increase interest in learning

Abstract

Most of people in Indonesia need fast, right, and accurate health medical service. But as we know in hospital takes many time just for check our health condition. This research make a Health Care Kiosk for medical check up, without using a doctor, so that kiosk can detect many deseases automatically. This research focused on 4 deseases such as hypothermia, hypoxemia, hypertension and diabetes. System using Embedded PC for data processing automatically. There are many medical sensor such as thermometer, heart rate sensor, blood pressure sensor, SPO2 sensor, and glucometer sensor for check health condition. System can make a decision if that patient healthy or not automatically because it uses fuzzy method for that decision. The result of this paper is this system can detect every deseases and that error for each sensor are body temperature has 1.05% error, oxygen level has 1.90% error, heart rate has 5.78% error, blood pressure sistolic has 4.16% error, blood pressure diastolic has 4.87% error and glucosa level in blood has 4.01% error. This system integrated with database MySQL for save that result. The accuracy from fuzzy method is 100% right and fuzzy tsukamoto can process input well.

Abstract

The method that was often applied in recommender systems was content-based filtering or collaborative filtering which had several drawbacks if applied singly so that its accuracy was not too high. This study intended to solve the drawbacks of both by combining these two methods into a hybrid method. Apriori algorithm was used to provided recommendations based on dishes’s category and price range in customer order history or wishlist. The similarity between dishes was calculated using adjusted-cosine similarity algorithm while customer’s rating for dishes prediction was calculated using weighted sum algorithm. The values generated by these two methods were then averaged for recommendation process. The proposed hybrid recommender system successfully combines content-based with collaborative filtering methods where its precision and recall values when measured by confusion matrix are 80.73% and 76.52%. By considering the characteristics of dishes that have been ordered by customer, the recommender system is able to recommend new dishes or dishes that have not been ordered as long as their characteristics are similar to the dishes the customer has ordered.

Abstract

Pigeons are very close to human life, therefore doves are often pets or livestock. Caring for pigeons because of their uniqueness and care is not that difficult. Care that is not so difficult is not that doves are immune to chicks. Many people do not know how to treat pigeons with disease first. Therefore we need advice from experts on pigeons to treat the disease. Because the disease in pigeons can attack humans, it must be treated first. To overcome this problem, an expert system was built which was equipped with 10 diseases and 33 symptoms obtained from experts or experts. The Naive Bayes method is a simple classification method which results in a probability value for each disease that appears. This system is made with the advantages of a user friendly display on the gejela selection page. The final result of the diagnosis is according to the first treatment method before being taken to the vet, using a web-based system which can make it easier for users to get information for disease diagnosis in pigeons.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 virus pandemic as it is currently being experienced in Indonesia is very rapidly spreading, forcing the government to impose a PSBB (Pembatasan Sosial Bersekala Besar) system in several regions in Indonesia. With the government regulation on health protocols, many companies must take action to minimize the spread of the Covid-19 virus. In this situation with daily activities opens opportunities for the Covid-19 virus to spread very quickly, especially in the office sphere. The spread of the Covid-19 virus could be through an attendance system that still uses finger print tools used to collect employee attendance data. In this study, attendance application developed using facial recognition method as key for employee data retrieval. This method of facial recognition is applied in real time with a certain distance and lighting. Eigenface algorithm is used as a training process for employees' faces that have been inputted before. The results of the training data will be saved to a database which is then used as a key to recognize the faces of employees who will perform attendance. In the results of the trial the attendance data application will enter when the level of facial recognition is above 70%.

Abstract

Heuristic evaluation in applicating of system evaluation is considered capable of being used in analyzing and testing the level of ease in operating visual-based English novel as learning media. The evaluation does not limit the assessment and measurement of the level of usability of the system by involving end users in the work and testing process. Therefore, heuristic evaluation is needed to determine how high the usability level of English learning media based on visual novels in the use of learning media. The research sample was aimed at the first semester of Information System department’s students to provide an assessment of user interface of the learning media using probability sampling, proportionate stratified random sampling as the focus of the sampling technique that will fill out the questionnaire. The data in the study will be analyzed using a mix of qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis methods. Based on the results of the study, it is stated that the visual-based English novel learning media interface layout design will be able to meet the criteria for heuristic evaluation and has good usability criteria and is easy to operate by users.

Abstract

The online auction system in the procurement of goods can make it easier to supervise and avoid fraud in the auction process, thereby creating transparency and accountability of data in the auction process to auction participants. The method used for data processing using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). The stages in the AHP method begin with the process of defining the problem, creating a hierarchical structure that begins with a general purpose, followed by criteria and choice alternatives, Creating a paired comparison matrix, normalizing data, calculating the eigenvector value and testing its consistency, calculating the eigenvector of each Pairwise comparison matrix, Test the consistency of the hierarchy. If it does not comply with CR <0.100 then the assessment must be repeated. Calculations using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method are faster than manual calculations so they can be more efficient and the level of data accuracy is close to perfect.
