Abstract

Captcha image is already used in Internet Banking as a security device in the process of authentication for active users as a humans or a robots. BNI Bank is the one that applies capthca image, contain four number characters in it. In this study, we propose how to read characters in the captcha image using Template Matching Correlation method. Later in the next study it can be used as an automatic login system for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) players who apply transfer payments to BNI Bank accounts. The first step to recognize is pre-processing, then proceed with segmentation and labeling per characters, and the last is matching with a reference template dataset using Template Matching Correlation. Of the 100 test data, this system produces an accuracy rate that reaches 100%. So this method is suitable for identifying characters of captcha image on the BNI Internet Banking login page.

Abstract

Testing is the essential process to make sure and guarantee the functionality and quality of a software based on several parameters and metrics. There are many kinds of testing, unit testing, functional testing, regression testing, etc. But for functional testing itself, testers have to options, manual testing or automation testing using test scripts, but due to market’s demand for stability and effetivity of software, it is not possible through manual testing, testers prefer to do automation testing. To do automation testing in a software, testers need software testing tool or test automation framework to execute test to make it more effective and fast, there are some parameters that it takes to measure how good a software testing tool compare to another software testing tools. One of the parameters is Tool Usability. In this research paper, authors will discuss and compare software testing tools based on their platforms using Tool Usability Metrics, and decide which the best software testing tool in each platforms based on Tool Usability Metrics.

Abstract

The objectives of this research is to added value function to the application (software) which has been made in previous that had reached copyright number no HKI 2-01-000007457 in the year 2016. The problems that occur in this research because nowadays mostly industries want to utilize system information which is easy to use, also if possible connecting to the smart phone. The Research method in making this application is using SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) technique, that is the logical process used by developer or analyst in process of making information media. The added value provided in this application is an application system that previously used a web-based system, and now changed into an android based system which is more easily and possible use by both smart phone and smart tv. Applications that has equipped android system additionally can be connected with electronic devices that also have android operating system such as smart tv and smart phone, so an enterprise can use it for information system activities, which is the functions can be able monitoring stock of goods that integrated with digital systems. At the end of this research, a feasibility survey provided by 40 experienced respondents as the industry users that from 3 industries, such as retail industry, manufacturing industry, and restaurant industry. The result of this survey analysis conducted with the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method that found almost all industries are suitable to use this application, with 30.7% retail, manufacturing 39.2%, restaurant 30.1% .The important priority in the implementation of this application is the cost of using this application and the application performance of the industrial activities.

Abstract

In working on a software project, the success of the project must begin with proper planning. If the planning is bad, it will cause project failure. Project failure can be in the form of swelling the cost of the project or project not being completed according to the time specified at the beginning of the plan. Extension of time can result in project cost overruns. To reduce the risk of swelling project costs, the right cost estimation is needed. Estimated project costs are estimates of time and costs including the number of employees working on the project. The cost estimation in this study uses the COCOMO II method. A software is said to be successful if it can be completed in a timely manner. With the appropriate budget and produce software of known quality. Mozila is a browser that is widely used to search for a website but doesn't know much about estimation the cost of making Mozilla therefore using COCOMO II can provide information on how to calculate the estimated cost using COCOMO II and the business of making software in accordance with that method.

Abstract

Information systems can help all types of businesses to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. These factors cause many organizations to implement information systems by only paying attention to momentary needs. So that the copy information overlaps and the system platform is different from one another, which is not in accordance with the mission and purpose of the application of information systems. One of the main causes of these different platforms is due to lack of planning and without thinking about the main key in the process of developing information system. In this study a case study of the design of an enterprise architecture model of the information system of the academic and student administration bureau (BAAK) was designed by applying the TOGAF ADM method. Stages - The stages of the Togaf ADM methodology are translated into enterprise architecture modeling namely architecture vision, business architecture, information system architecture and information technology. This research is limited to the main business processes based on mapping using the value chain and only reaches the Opportunities and Solution phase in TOGAF ADM with a sample of research at a private university in DKI Jakarta. The purpose of this research is to overcome the problem in the old system where some of the processing is found to be still managed manually. This research produces a blueprint of information system architecture in the form of application candidates for each sub-organization that is arranged based on the priority level of needs so that the implementation process is in accordance with the desired and does not interfere with the performance of the information system both running and being built. This research also serves as a reference for the foundation of the development of the SI architecture in the management of universities to be able to improve services. In this study, there can be seen a gap in business processes where in running a business at BAAK UNU has not used IT as its main requirement and also processing academic operational data still using standard applications such as Microsoft Office.

Previously, the classical panel data assumption test which included normality test and multicollinearity test was conducted. Whereas the problem of heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation can be overcome by the Generalized Least Square (GLS) method. There are 8 SOE (state-owned enterprises)  construction and basic industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as research objects. The results of this study indicate that the Return on Assets (ROA) of several BUMN companies observed during the 2014-2018 period had a positive effect on their share prices, while the Return on Equity (ROE) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) of these companies had no effect significantly to the share prices. The results of this study also show that inflation does not moderate the ROA and DER relationship of several SOE companies which are observed to the share prices. On the other hand, inflation can weaken the effect of ROE on the share prices of several BUMN companies observed.   Keywords: ROA, ROE, DER, Inflation and Stock Prices.
