Abstract

Burning behavior in the peatland area in Bengkayang District is still running which is caused many disadvantages. To solve it, we need to prevention and handling activities. prevention activity is better to do which is the target all the society include children. children have imitation characteristic, include burning behavior. therefore, the introduction of land burning prevention necessary to do with fun method and media.  This activity was conducted in SDN 4 Sungai Jaga A Sungai Raya Sub-district Bengkayang district as much as 31 students in fourth grade. The methodology that was used with lecturer and tale and used the poster, puppets, and banner as media. Participants very excited when activities occur. hopefully, children have the knowledge, commit good behavior and concern to their environment.

Abstract

Residu adalah sisa bahan yang tidak terpakai. Hasil residu ada yang berupa bahan-bahan tidak terpakai yang akan dibuang lagi, namun ada juga yang bisa di recycle atau dengan kata lain dapat dimanfaatkan lagi sehingga bisa lebih efisien. Ikan gabus sangat kaya akan albumin, salah satu jenis protein penting. Albumin diperlukan tubuh manusia setiap hari, ikan tersebut memiliki protein yang sangat tinggi, ikan ini merupakan sumber albumin bagi penderita hipoalbumin (rendah albumin) dan luka. Baik luka pasca operasi maupun luka bakar. Bahkan, di daerah pedesaan, anak laki-laki pasca khitan selalu dianjurkan mengkonsumsi ikan jenis ini agar penyembuhan lebih cepat. Caranya, daging ikan tersebut dikukus atau disteam sehingga memperoleh filtrat, yang dijadikan menu ekstra bagi penderita hipoalbumin dan luka. Dalam tubuh manusia, albumin (salah satu fraksi protein) disintesis oleh hati kira-kira 100-200 mikrogram/g jaringan hati setiap hari.Albumin merupakan protein utama dalam plasma darah, terdapat dengan jumlah sebesar 40% sampai 60% sisanya terdapat pada rongga luar sel. Berperan penting menjaga tekanan osmotik plasma, mengangkut molekul-molekul kecil melewati plasma maupun cairan ekstrasel serta mengikat obat-obatan. Albumin ikan gabus memiliki kualitas jauh lebih baik dari albumin telur yang biasa digunakan dalam penyembuhan pasien pasca bedah. Abstract

Petuk Katimpun is one of the supplier villages for vegetable needs in the Palangka Raya city and its surroundings. At the abundant harvest, the prices of vegetables dropped sharply and were even worthless. Vegetables are left to rot in the tree, because there are costs to be taken to pick the vegetables. This is certainly very painful for the farmer. The farmers continue to lose money. One solution is to increase the value added of vegetables through processing technology. The technology of processing vegetable chips with vacuum frying is able to maintain the distinctive aroma and color of vegetables, crisper texture, lower vitamin damage and lower oil absorption. The purpose of this community service program is to transfer vacuum frying technology to increase the value added of the vegetables so that the level of the loss of farmers can be reduced. The approach were taken by  counseling, training and coaching and mentoring. The counseling was carried out by direct communication and interactive discussion, while training of using vacuum frying tools with various vegetable raw materials was carried out under the guidance of the service team. The coaching and group assistance were carried out in the acquisition of SPP-IRT as well as ways to access markets both directly and indirectly. The results of the community service program showed that 70% of partners were able to operate vacuum frying equipment. The capabilities of labeling and packaging were 100 % . They also had an ability to access markets indirectly through online media. The direct market could not be accessed due to  the SPP-IRT certificate has not been obtained. Key words : community empowerment, vegetables chip, vacuum frying

Abstract

Quantitative literacy is the ability and confidence in using basic mathematical concepts and calculating operations needed for problem solving, decision making of economic problems and their applications in everyday life. Mastery of basic mathematics is an absolute requirement for achieving good quantitative literacy skills. The aim of this activity was to improve mathematical literacy skills of the students at SMA 8 Bengkulu City. The activities were begun by giving pre-tests to students, preparing of modules, presenting the materials of the modules in classroom, practicing through LKS and post-tests. Several techniques, methods and approaches in number counting operations have been presented in this activity. This activity has provided an increase in quantitative literacy skills in class XI IIS-1 SMA 8 Kota Bengkulu. Even so, the improvement of students' abilities can be said to be less optimal because there are still some questions that cannot be answered by almost all students. Therefore, cooperation and involvement of all parties is needed to improve students' quantitative literacy skills and follow-up activities in an effort to strengthen quantitative literacy skills.

Abstract

Dahan Rejo Village, Kebomas District is one of the centers of fish farming centers in Gresik Regency. The obstacle faced by pond farmers is the high price of feed, which increases the cost of production and capital. Farmers have not yet used alternative feed and are still dependent on factory-made pellets. The alternative solution that can be done is to make pellets from local materials such as tofu pellets and corn with steamer technology. The aim of this program is to empower the people of Dahan Rejo Village to make floating fish feed from local materials. The methods used are program preparation, product making and proximate analysis, making tutorial videos and guidebooks, socializing and training, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluating. The result of this community empowerment program is that farmer groups have the potential to develop floating fish pellets. Proximate analysis of floating fish pellets showed protein content of  31.6%, 6.8% fat, 4.2% reducing sugar, 4.4% crude fiber, and Ca minerals 0.3%. Tutorial videos and guidebooks for making floating fish pellets are good and suitable for use by the community. Farmers can make pellets from local raw materials independently with the percentage of material achievement being 70% of the total number of group members. The accompanying results show that the obstacles faced by fish pond farmers are weather, supporting raw materials, and marketing. The monitoring and evaluation results show that pond farmers in Dahan Rejo Village are committed to developing floating fish pellets from local raw materials as an effort to sustain the program.

Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan masa transisi dari masa kanak-kanak menuju dewasa, yang ditandai dengan timbulnya keinginan kebebasan dalam mencari jati diri. Kebebasan dan keinginan tersebut mendorong para remaja untuk melakukan hal-hal baru, termasuk melakukan hal yang dapat menimbulkan dampak kesehatan yang negatif bagi dirinya, salah satunya ialah perilaku seks pranikah. Pada masa remaja terjadi perubahan-perubahan terhadao fisik, emosi, maupun psikologis termasuk kognitif. Perubahan biologis, psikologis dan sosial terjadi pada masa transisi remaja dari anak-anak ke dewasa, yang secara menyeluruh dapat menjadi masalah bagi remaja. Banyaknya permasalahan yang muncul pada masa remaja, sehingga memerlukan suatu layanan kesehatan bagi remaja yang memadai. Saat ini pelayanan kesehatan untuk remaja dirasa masih belum optimal, melalui program berbasis kesehatan dan konseling remaja, oleh karena itu Muhammadiyah dan Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Kota Pontianak melakukan kegiatan Pelayanan Kesehatan Remaja Milik Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PASHMINA). Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu solusi yang diberikan dengan harapan dapat mencegah dan mengatasi kasus kekerasan seksual pada perempuan dan anak.
