Abstract

Bawang merah merupakan komoditas yang diperdagangkan secara internasional. Perdagangan bebas menuntut komoditas ini harus memiliki keunggulan komparatif agar dapat bersaing. Akan tetapi, masih terdapat kebijakan pemerintah yang kurang mendukung pengembangan komoditas bawang merah seperti pengurangan kuota pupuk bersubsidi di daerah penelitian dan penghapusan tarif bawang merah impor. Kabupaten Brebes merupakan sentra penghasil bawang merah terbesar di Indonesia. Namun, pengembangan komoditas ini masih belum optimal karena kebijakan yang kurang mendukung padahal produktivitas bawang merah nasional cenderung meningkat dari tahun 2009-2012 (BPS, 2013). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis sejauh mana dampak kebijakan pemerintah terhadap pengembangan usahatani bawang merah. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian adalah dengan menggunakan Domestic Resources Cost (DRC), Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) dan analisis sensitivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dampak kebijakan pemerintah berdampak negatif terhadap pengembangan komoditas bawang merah di daerah penelitian karena menurunkan pendapatan petani. Abstract

Burning behavior in the peatland area in Bengkayang District is still running which is caused many disadvantages. To solve it, we need to prevention and handling activities. prevention activity is better to do which is the target all the society include children. children have imitation characteristic, include burning behavior. therefore, the introduction of land burning prevention necessary to do with fun method and media.  This activity was conducted in SDN 4 Sungai Jaga A Sungai Raya Sub-district Bengkayang district as much as 31 students in fourth grade. The methodology that was used with lecturer and tale and used the poster, puppets, and banner as media. Participants very excited when activities occur. hopefully, children have the knowledge, commit good behavior and concern to their environment.

Abstract

This research aims to figure out the influence of the product attributes of Indocafe and the effect on customer satisfaction and loyalty in Pontianak city. The determination of the research location is determined intentionally (purposive method) in the city of Pontianak. The study used survey method with 150 respondents by using purposive sampling. Types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Furthermore, the analysis is done by using structural equation modeling. The results showed that the variable of price, quality and packaging affect customer satisfaction. At the same time, quality has a significant effect to consumer loyalty. The most considerable influence on the quality variables and the overall contribution was the performance. Manufacturers need to improve the quality attributes, meaning the composition or content, the balanced flavor between sweet, sour and bitter, and the aftertaste that can last a long time so that consumers can have a good impression of Indocafe.

Abstract

The global demand for seafood products increased in a dynamic environment. Still, fails to achieve competitive positioning due to labeling, unattractive and unprofitable targeted segments, and less preferred quality and features. Thus, this study tried to create competitive positioning through features, functions, and benefits of seafood product attributes. The results arranged through consumer characteristics, consumer preference with conjoint analysis, market identification and competition with regression analysis, Multidimensional Scaling, and Correspondence Analysis from 206 respondents. The results prove that (i) canned fish, dried fish, and salted fish competed on freshness, durability, and food safety (labels); (ii) shredded fish, surimi, and pedak competed on density, taste, physiological function, and easy-to-use feature; (iii) crackers competed on taste, social function, and psychological function; (iv) shrimp paste competed on shape, color, surface condition, texture, additive content, and chemicals. The implications of the results: (i) transported and packed to processing plants and food storage facilities; (ii) an increase in food diversity, food fortification, and supplementation; (iii) cultural congruence between the product and the market with certain packaging designs, launch timing, and advertising; (iv) several methods of process, such as quick freezing and cook-chilling, pasteurized before packed or retort pouch and natural food additives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi marjin pemasaran nanas di Kecamatan Sungai Ambawang Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 78 orang petani serta dari pedagang pengumpul sebanyak 3 orang, dan pedagang pengecer sebanyak 4 orang, petani nanas berasal dari desa Sungai Malaya dan desa Mega Timur dan responden ditentukan dengan metode Random Sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa harga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap marjin pemasaran, sedangkan variabel volume dan jarak tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap marjin pemasaran nanas di Kecamatan Sungai Ambawang Kabupaten Kubu Raya.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi  dan disiplin kerja terhadap  kinerja karyawan koperasi  di PT. Bumitama Gunajaya Agro di Kecamatan Nanga Tayap  Kabupaten Ketapang. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah menggunakan asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan data yang bersumber dari Koperasi PT. Bumitama Gunajaya Agro. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi, yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 orang yang merupakan karyawan Koperasi PT. Bumitama Gunajaya Agro Teknik analisis menggunakan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa  pertama variabel Motivasi  berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja pegawai. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata tanggapan responden terhadap variabel Motivasi yang berada dalam kategori tinggi dan kedua variabel Disiplin Kerja berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja pegawai. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata tanggapan responden terhadap variabel Disiplin Kerja yang berada dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Kata kunci: Motivasi, Disiplin Kerja dan Kinerja Karyawan

Abstract

Nowadays, many companies in Indonesia are running in the plantation field. Buana Tunas Sejahtera Company (Inc.) is a palm oil company in West Borneo Province that working under the Kencana Group. This company was organized by leaders, directors, managers, manager assistants, foremen, clerks, permanent workers, and freelance workers. The worker’s work performance in this company was slightly low due to their worker’s low motivation and discipline. This study aimed to know the method to improve the workers’ work performance in Buana Tunas Sejahtera Company (Inc.), Kapuas Hulu Regency. This was a descriptive quantitative study employing an Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) done by software namely Expert Choice 11. There were 100 workers chosen by the purposive sampling technique participated in this study. The result showed that the key point in dealing with the worker's work performance issue was meeting their social need, while improving their salary was a key point in dealing with the motivation issue. Building the worker's responsibility was playing an important role in improving the discipline culture. The company needs to improve the worker’s motivation by conducting training sessions, increasing worker’s salaries during the overtime hours, and giving more motivation to their workers. To improve the discipline culture, the company needs to use clear and firm rules to enforce the proper and accountable behavior among the worker.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of psychological factors on buying decisions of Tropicana Slim Sweetener products. This research was conducted in Pontianak, West Kalimantan Province. The psychological factors of consumers in making the buying decision process consisted of motivation, perception, learning, beliefs and attitudes. The population used in this research was consumers of Tropicana Slim Sweetener. The sample used was 150 people, using purposive sampling. The research was conducted in June to July 2018. The research data were obtained by the analysis method using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that psychological factors had a positive influence on consumer buying decisions, with the most influenced indicators were convince in the product, belief in the product, product brand, knowledge of the product, the feelings towards the product and product reliability.

Abstract

Cocoa Commodities, especially cocoa beans, have a great opportunity to be developed due to high market demand, this must be in line with the good quality of cocoa beans owned with the world market demand standards which means that at the farm level the cocoa farming must implement the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Handling Practice (GHP). This study aims to determine the effect of the characteristics of cocoa farmers on farmers' perceptions of fermented cocoa beans. The method used in this study is the survey method. The research location is Sui Duri Village, Sui Raya District, Bengkayang Regency. Data analysis using logit regression. The results showed that the five characteristics of the farmers, namely age, education, land area, number of family dependents and farming experience had a positive influence on farmers' perceptions, this indicates that farmers' characteristics are very important on the farmers' decision to adopt cocoa bean fermentation technology.Keywords: Characteristics of farmers, cocoa, perceptions, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Good Handling Practices (GHP)

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara berkembang dengan pertanian yang luas menjadikan sebagian besar mayoritas penduduknya mengantungkan hidup pada sektor pertanian dengan penggunaan lahan diperuntunkan untuk mengusahakan kebutuhan pokok seperti padi. Kabupaten Kubu Raya merupakan daerah produksi padi sawah tadah hujan yang dalam proses produksinya mengalami banyak kendala seperti teknologi, perubahan cuaca, dan belum efisiennya penggunaan faktor produksi yang dimiliki petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menganalisis tingkat efisiensi teknis usahatani padi sawah tadah hujan dan (2) Penyebab inefisiensi teknis usahatani padi sawah tadah hujan di Kecamatan Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Tempat penelitian ini ditentukan secara sengaja (purporsive) dilakukan di Desa Parit Keladi Kecamatan Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya dengan jumlah responden 42 orang. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi obsrvasi, wawancara dengan kuisioner dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis data menggunakan Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) yang diolah menggunakan sofware frontier 4.1c. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rata-rata tingkat efisiensi teknis yang di capai oleh petani padi sawah tadah hujan adalah 0,83 dengan tingkat efisiensi tertinggi 0,98 dan terendah 0,48 yang mengartikan bahwa usahatani padi tersebut sudah efisien secara teknis. Adapun faktor yang menjadi penyebab inefisiensi teknis usahatni padi sawah tadah hujan ialah tingkat pendidikan dan pengalaman berusahatani.Kata kunci: kinerja usahatani, padi sawah tadah hujan, SFA, efisiensi teknis
