Abstract

Pada percobaan faktorial tiga taraf, perlakuan yang dihasilkan cukup besar bahkan untuk jumlah faktor yang sedikit. Besarnya perlakuan yang dihasilkan ini terkadang menyulitkan peneliti untuk memperoleh blok lengkap yang homogen. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah mengkaji sistem pembauran pada percobaan faktorial tiga taraf. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan teladan penerapan. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan blok tak lengkap mengakibatkan tercampurnya beberapa pengaruh perlakuan dengan pengaruh blok. Hal inilah yang disebut sebagai Sistem Pembauran (System of Confounding). Penempatan perlakuaan ke dalam blok-blok tak lengkap dilakukan berdasarkan pengaruh utama faktor atau interaksi yang terbaur dengan pengaruh blok.

Abstract

Quantitative literacy is the ability and confidence in using basic mathematical concepts and calculating operations needed for problem solving, decision making of economic problems and their applications in everyday life. Mastery of basic mathematics is an absolute requirement for achieving good quantitative literacy skills. The aim of this activity was to improve mathematical literacy skills of the students at SMA 8 Bengkulu City. The activities were begun by giving pre-tests to students, preparing of modules, presenting the materials of the modules in classroom, practicing through LKS and post-tests. Several techniques, methods and approaches in number counting operations have been presented in this activity. This activity has provided an increase in quantitative literacy skills in class XI IIS-1 SMA 8 Kota Bengkulu. Even so, the improvement of students' abilities can be said to be less optimal because there are still some questions that cannot be answered by almost all students. Therefore, cooperation and involvement of all parties is needed to improve students' quantitative literacy skills and follow-up activities in an effort to strengthen quantitative literacy skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat model rasio ketersediaan beras di provinsi Bengkulu. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi Bayesian, yaitu regresi linear yang parameternya diperoleh melalui metode Bayesian. Model ini dirancang berdasarkan variabel yang berhubungan erat dengan rasio ketersediaan beras, diantaranya stok beras, produktivitas lahan, jumlah konsumsi beras, dan harga beras. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari BPS dan Dinas Pertanian Provinsi Bengkulu. Estimasi parameter dengan menggunakan analisis regresi Bayesian untuk rasio ketersedian beras di Provinsi Bengkulu pada tahun 2015 menghasilkan model sebagai berikut:????=?????,????????????????+ ????,????????????????????????+????,?????????????????????????????,?????????????????????????,????????????????????????dengan nilai DIC sebesar 0,7834771. Abstract

Abstract Fatwa of  The Council of Indonesian Ulama (Majelis Ulama Indonesia, MUI) Number 1/ 2004 imply that  bank interest equal to usury. The purpose of this study was to determine Muslim traders' perceptions of interest, and their consistency in the behavior of loan applications.  Methods of data collection used in this study was questionnaires to Muslim traders of Wet Mandonga Market Kendari City. Samples taken in this research were 30 respondents with census sampling technique. The data were analyzed using percentage. The level of consistency of respondents is calculated by the share of the number of respondents who consider the bank interest equal to usury and do not make loans with conventional scheme, to the total respondents. The results showed that all Muslim traders in the Wet Market Mandonga Kendari City have understood that the interest is equal to usury However there are 16.67 percent of respondents whose equity is usury, where 6.67 percent of which comes from loan shark. The consistency of perception and application of the understanding of interest money on Muslim traders reached 83.33 percent.AbstrakFatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) Nomor 1 Tahun 2004  membawa pesan bahwa bunga bank sama dengan riba. Penelitian ini mengkaji persepsi pedagang muslim tentang bunga, dan konsistensinya terhadap perilaku pengajuan pinjaman modal. Metode pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui kuisioner bagi pedagang muslim di  Pasar Basah Mandonga Kota  Kendari. Sampel pada penelitian ini  berjumlah 30 orang pedagang, yang ditentukan berdasarkan metode sensus. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu matriks empat kuadran dan persentase. Tingkat konsistensi responden dihitung dengan persentase jumlah responden yang menganggap bunga bank sama dengan riba yang sekaligus tidak melakukan pinjaman  dengan tambahan bunga, terhadap total responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh pedagang muslim di Pasar Basah Mandonga Kota Kendari telah memahami bahwa bunga pinjaman uang sama dengan riba. Meskipun demikian terdapat 16,67 persen  responden yang permodalannya bersifat ribawi yang 6,67 persen diantaranya bersumber dari rentenir. Adapun konsistensi persepsi dan aplikasi dari pemahaman akan bunga uang pada pedagang muslim mencapai 83,33 persen

Abstract

Batik besurek is a typical batik from Bengkulu Province. Batik besurek has a unique and strong character, in the form of arabic calligraphy. This study aims to develop the pattern of batik besurek motif by applying the fractal principle and linear transformation of fields in order to enrich the style and culture of Bengkulu Province and can add to selling value. The pattern development is done by determining the pattern of batik besurek which will be developed, later using mathematical principles through the fractal principle and linear transformation of fields will be made a new pattern of batik besurek motif. The results of this study is a new beautiful batik besurek motif obtained from the development of original motif which can add to the richness of the batik besurek motif. This motif keeps the original motif and the symbols in it.

Abstract

Open Sourse R  adalah suatu software statistika yang popular, lengkap, dan berlisensi gratis sehingga terhindar dari tuntutan hukum saat mengolah dan menganalisis data hasil penelitian serta memiliki visualisasi grafik yang lebih canggih dan menarik dibandingkan software Statistika lainnya. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdian tertarik untuk melakukan kegiatan pengabdian untuk memberikan pelatihan pengolahan data penelitian melalui program R bagi mahasiswa di Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Soekarno (UIN-FAS), Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Tadris, Prodi Tadris Bahasa Indonesia, Prodi Tadris IPA, dan Prodi Tadris Matematika. dikarenakan mahasiswanya belum mengenal program R dalam pengolahan data. Tujuan dari kegiatan PPM yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa tentang teknik pengoperasian program R dalam pengolahan data penelitian dan  meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menginterpretasikan hasil dari pengolahan data statistik berbasis penelitian. Tahapan-tahapan dalam kegiatan ini, yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi (pre test dan post test). Evaluasi kegiatan yaitu pre test dan post test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar antara pre test dan post test. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa ada pengaruh pelatihan terhadap peningkatan pengolahan data dengan menggunakan program R pada mahasiswa. Jadi, dapat ditarik suatu kesimpulan bahwa kegiatan PPM ini dikatakan cukup berhasil dalam menambah wawasan, ilmu pengetahuan, dan keterampilan bagi mahasiswa.   Kata Kunci: statistika, program, data

Abstract

This article presents a comprehensive study of the factors that influence the length of study data of undergraduate students at FMIPA UNIB class 2018 and 2019. This study is essential because observations show that many students study for more than 8 semesters. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that significantly influence the length of study of undergraduate students. These factors can be internal and external. Survival analysis is the right method to identify these factors because ordinary regression analysis is unable to estimate survival data. Therefore, methods such as Weibull regression, Cox Proportional Hazards regression, and Random Survival Forest are used. This study does not compare the methods used because these methods are independent of each other, but have the same goal, namely, to determine the factors that influence the length of study of students. The data used in this study are data on the length of study of students from the 2018 and 2019 cohorts sourced from the academic subsection of FMIPA UNIB, with variables of GPA, gender, region of origin, university entry route, parents' occupation, type of study program, and length of study. The results showed that GPA and the type of study program significantly influenced the length of study in Weibull regression analysis. In Cox proportional hazard regression, the GPA variable is an influential factor, while using the Random Survival Forest method, all factors significantly influenced the length of study, with their respective levels of importance.

Abstract

Mumps is a contagious viral disease transmitted through respiratory droplets and close contact. It can cause symptoms like fever and salivary gland swelling. Despite the MMR vaccine, which offers partial protection, outbreaks persist, especially in college-aged individuals. Epidemiological models can aid in identifying effective prevention strategies for controlling mumps transmission. This paper proposes a mathematical model for mumps spread, considering quarantined individuals and complications. A global stability analysis of the mumps transmission model was performed, considering mortality and quarantine subpopulation. The Disease Free Equilibrium and Endemic Equilibrium Point are globally stable, confirmed by Lyapunov functions. Sensitivity analysis of the basic reproduction number shows that reducing birth rates and contact between infected and susceptible individuals effectively minimizes the infected population. However, increasing the natural death rate can reduce the total population, which may lower infections, but poses potential social and economic challenges for decision-makers.

Abstract

The linear operator T: X --> X is called an hypercyclic operator if there exist such that the orbit of under the operator T is dense in X. This study aims to construct an explicit hypercyclic operator on the sequence space \(\ell^p\), by modifying the backward shift operator using a non-constant weight sequence. This approach differs from Rolewicz's classical method, which used constant weights. The method applied is constructive and formal, relying on deductive reasoning in mathematical proofs. Two operators—weighted left and right shifts—are introduced and their properties are analyzed, including their composition and iterative behavior. The main result is the construction of a specific operator \(S_\bold{a}\) weighted by \(\bold{a}=(a_n)\) that is proven to be hypercyclic. The proof involves demonstrating the existence of a vector whose orbit under \(S_\bold{a}\) is dense in \(\ell^p\).

Abstract

Provinsi Bengkulu terletak di pesisir barat Pulau Sumatera dan tepat berada di antara pertemuan dua lempeng dunia yang sangat aktif yaitu Lempeng Benua Eurasia dan Lempeng Samudra Indo-Australia. Hal ini menyebabkan Provinsi Bengkulu tergolong sebagai provinsi yang sangat rawan terhadap bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami. Penelitian ini mengkaji persoalan optimasi pencarian rute evakuasi tsunami. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan rute evakuasi dari tiap-tiap cluster yang telah dibentuk menuju tempat berkumpul yang telah ditentukan. Tiap-tiap cluster, titik berkumpul dan ruas jalan yang menghubungkannya dibentuk menjadi suatu graph jaringan jalan dimana cluster dan titik berkumpul diwakili oleh vertex dan ruas jalan diwakili oleh edge. Graph jaringan jalan ini diberi bobot dimana dalam penentuan bobotnya menggunakan logika fuzzy dengan mempertimbangkan beberapa parameter yaitu panjang jalan, lebar jalan, dan jumlah penduduk yang berpengaruh pada tingkat keramaian dan tingkat kemacetan. Penentuan rute optimalnya dilakukan dengan menggunakan algoritma Dijkstra. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh rute optimal dari tiap-tiap cluster menuju tempat berkumpul yang telah ditentukan
