<![CDATA[Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga merupakan program pemerintah yang diciptakan untuk memberdayakan potensi ibu-rumahtangga sebagai pengelola dalam keluarga untuk meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam meningkatkan taraf hidup menjadi lebih baik. Namun pada kenyataannya kelompok ibu-ibu pengajian hanya merupakan kumpulan untuk formalitas belaka, karena banyak diantara ibu rumahtangga yang menjadi anggota tidak paham tujuan organisasi itu dibentuk. Dan pada kenyataannya banyak ibu-ibu rumahtangga tidak berdaya dalam menanggulangi masalah ekonomi dalam keluarganya sendiri. Ibu-ibu rumahtangga yang tergabung dalam organisasi wirid pengajian Salimah di Kelurahan Rumbai, khususnya Ibu-ibu yang rutin berkumpul setiap miggu, merupakan ibu-ibu rumahtangga yang murni sebagai ibu rumahtangga. .Melalui pelatihan membuat hantaran pernikahan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan mereka, sehingga mereka dapat mengejewantahkan keinginan mereka menjadi kenyataan. Tujuan kegiatan IbM ini adalah, meningkatan pengetahuan, dan ketrampilan mereka dalam membuat hantaran pernikahan. Metode yang digunakan untuk kegiatan IbM ini adalah penyadaran, demontrasi, dan Praktek langsung. Hasil kegiatan peserta telah terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dari 80% menjadi 100%, cara membuat hantaran pernikahan dan merasakan sebelumnya 20% meningkat menjadi 100%]]>

<![CDATA[SMP IT Madani as one of the schools that apply the concept of islamic in its education practice. SMPIT Madani is a school formed by amil zakat self-supporting institution ummah Riau by using theconcept of free school. SMP IT stands in 2011 with a total of 20 students. Over time, the currentnumber of junior Madani IT students amounted to 75 students. The average students who attendjunior high school IT is the students who come from poor families.SMP IT Madani has received School Operational Assistance (BOS) a few years back. The BOSprogram uses a different approach than Special Assistance for Students (BKM) ie BOS funds are notgiven to poor students but are provided to schools and managed by schools. The mechanism forcalculating BOS funds is based on the number of students in each school. So the goal of this BOScan be achieved is to free the cost of education for poor students or not able and can alleviate forother students so they can get 9 years basic education services.The obligations of schools receiving BOS programs should report the realization of the use of theprogram to the government. Currently schools are having difficulties to make reporting realizationof BOS program to government and foundation. Differences in reporting formats to foundations andgovernments make the school experience serious problems. If it does not sync between reportingbetween the government and the foundation will cause many other questions and problems. Wheninterviewed, the school is very eager for this matter to be resolved immediately.Based on the problems of the partners, it can be concluded the solution of the problem is a reportinginformation system synchronized to the government and the foundation. So that SMP IT Madani nolonger experience obstacles to the reporting of BOS program activities. As a result the name ofUnilak increasingly fragrant in the eyes of society, especially SMP IT Madani.Method of implementation of activities used is direct observation to the location of partners toperform the first phase, this stage includes data collection and data processing. When this stage takesplace, we will get an overview of the Information Technology environment, and the partner's needfor the BOS program reporting mechanism. After the first phase is done, it will be held the secondphase of socialization, this stage to do the sosiasisasi about the benefits of synchronizing BOSreporting to the government and the foundation. Then in the third stage, the authors do the designand implementation of BOS reporting system based on information obtained from the foundation.Finally, the training phase: Each partner school sends its representative two people, to attend trainingon the use of reporting system that can synchronize BOS and foundation reporting.]]>

<![CDATA[Kegiatan Pengelolaan sampah organik merupakan perwujudan untuk menuju Green Campus merupakan salah satu kegiatan untuk mewujudkan terciptanya lingkungan yang baik dan dapat dimanfaatkan bagi masyarakat kampus. Banyak tanaman yang ada dikampus yang kurang optimal pertumbuhan sehingga perlu pemupukan. Untuk itu perlu mengajak masyarakat kampus khususnya mahasiswa untuk membuat pupuk organik dengan memanfaatkan sampah yang ada di lingkungan kampus atau kantin dan sampah rumah tangga sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk kompos. Perlu pelatihan lebih lanjut sehingga siswa lebih paham terhadap pengelolaan sampah tersebut.]]>

<![CDATA[Sungai Kayu Ara Village, Siak Regency, Riau Province is a coastal village. The main livelihoods of the people in this village are farming, fishermen and breeders. Pellets and concentrate feed have been used by the community as fish and livestock feed. But the high price of this feed makes this business less profitable. Azolla microphylla as fish feed and livestock has been introduced in Indonesia. This community service activity aims to train coastal communities of A. microphylla cultivation techniques which will later be used as fish feed and other livestock. This activity was carried out with the following stages; 1) Location survey, group formation and coordination. 2) Get off to the field and prepare sites for training. 3) Training of growing substrate fermentation techniques A. microphylla. 3) Training to prepare A. microphylla growing containers. 4) Cultivation training of A. microphylla. 5) Harvesting and giving A. microphylla to livestock. 6) Monitoring and evaluating the results of the trainings. A group of cultivators of A. microphylla has been formed and training has also been carried out with the students of the 2018 UNRI LPPM KKN participants in this village. This group named "SUKARELA" stands for the Sungai Kayu Ara Pemelihara Azolla with 30 members. Initial monitoring results in the second, third and fourth weeks after training showed that these macrophytes can grow well. Some members have enlarged the maintenance container in the form of maintenance tanks.]]>

<![CDATA[Bidara Laut Plant, Ximenia americana L., is one of coastal vegetation that potentials to be expanded as various healthy drink innovative products and gives a promises to be expanded in the future due to its health benefits and has never been produced. The activity was conducted at Sarang and Mecan Islands, Sekanak Raya sub-district, Belakang Padang district, Batam, in companion with Sarang and Mecan “Kompang” Conservation group. The Activity was started from May up to October 2018. Implementation methods were counseling, training and production practices, demonstration plots, strengthening management and business development through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). This activity has succeeded in improving partner communities’ skills in making processed beverages and meals made of Bidara Laut and mangroves fruits. It was a new knowledge for the community in sustainable usage and environmental conservation, especially mangrove resources. Processed innovations types which produced were Bidara Syrup, Bidara Pudot, Bidara Fresh Drinks, Jeruju Stick, Jeruju Layer Cakes, and Komojo Sponge cake, which all these processed mangrove and Bidara products have own exclusivity and beneficial to health. For their sustainability guarantee, mangrove seedling and Bidar Laut X. americana farming were created together with partner community.]]>

<![CDATA[Reading parks or public library generally offer the focal point of literacy activities with the encouragement of people reading interest. These activities undertaken by providing a reading room and socializing the importance of reading. This social service along with Taman Baca Puri Anjali, located in Kaliombo, Kediri, East Java, observes the problems related to learning methods, especially in reading, that occur in children. Through the activity titled “Kids, Are You Ready to Talk to American Native?” together create learning activities by playing, based on Paulo Freire’s method, conscientizacao. This activity invites children to learn English directly with people who use English language in their daily life, named American natives. It has a happy learning effect on children and they feel that learning English is easier than before. They also assimilate a more varied pattern of literacy, without leaving the books that become the world’s window for learners.]]>

<![CDATA[Nowadays, in the younger generation, students in particular, there is less and less motivation for entrepreneurship. This is also because many do not have the skills that can be used to support it. Student organizations are a representative of a part of younger generation who have problems of their own. Student organizations have many activities, which requires skill and expertise in the field of graphic design. This activity, Science and Technology for Community is a positive step to expand the horizons and motivate the younger generation, especially students through student organizations in order to foster an entrepreneurial spirit and the spirit to always learn new things and keep up with technology. The targets of this Science and Technology for Community activity are students who represent their Student Organizations in Lancang Kuning University will have skill in using graphic design software, namely Adobe Indesign, and insight into the magnitude of the business opportunities in the field of graphic design which can help the Student Organization’s activities. The methods which are used, such as workshop or training in using graphic design software and discussion to open up horizons for entrepreneurship. Material which is provided, include handout of Basic Training for Adobe Indesign for making posters, brochures and banners, as well as ideas of business opportunities that can be developed by students or student organizations. Conclusions, outcomes achieved are the participants have basic skills and knowledge in using the software Adobe Indesign for making posters, and the emergence of ideas in entrepreneurship in the field of graphic design from the participants.]]>

<![CDATA[PLN Persero sebagai penyedia pasokan listrik bagi masyarakat di Indonesia dirasa belum mampu menjamin kontinuitas pelayanan selama 24 jam setiap hari tanpa terputus, hal itu disebabkan oleh beberapa kemungkian seperti gangguan alami, kerusakan teknis dan sebagainya. Tempat Ibadah seperti Masjid dan Mushalla adalah salah satu konsumen listrik PT. PLN Persero, sehingga kebutuhan akan pasokan listrik untuk panggilan sholat dan penerangan ibadah pada malam hari sangat diperlukan, sehingga perlu dicarikan solusi agar pengeras suara dan penerangan pada alternatif. Pada pengabdian ini, tim pengabdian memberikan pelatihan kepada 2 kelompok remaja yaitu dari Remaja Mushalla Al-Hidayah dan Remaja RT.05/RW.04 Kel. Limbungan, Kec. Rumbai Pesisir, Kota Pekanbaru. Setelah mendapatkan teori dan pengenalan terhadap komponen elektronika, remaja dibimbing merakit Charge Aki otomatis dan Inverter menjadi perangkat Catu Daya Otomatis untuk Sound System untuk Lampu di Mushalla Al-Hidayah dan Mushalla An-Nur. Hasil Akhir, dihasilkan 2 sistem pengeras suara dan lampu otomatis yaitu charge otomatis dengan inverter sehingga langsung digunakan seperti UPS untuk Mushalla An-Nur dan UPS bekas yang telah diperbaiki dengan merekonstruksi jaringan instalasi listriknya pada Mushalla Al-Hidayah, kedua peralatan sudah diserah terimakan kepada Pengurus dan dipergunakan oleh kedua Mushalla tersebut.]]>

<![CDATA[Universitas Lancang Kuning merupakan salah satu Universitas Swasta Terbesar di Provinsi Riau. Seiring dengan itu untuk mempercepat target yang dicanangkan pada tahun 2030 yakni menjadi Universitas Unggul di skala nasional. Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Lancang Kuning (LPPM UNILAK) merupakan unit pelayanan bagi dosen dalam melaksanakan Tri Darma Peguruan Tinggi yakni Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatannya Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Lancang Kuning (LPPM UNILAK) menerima pengajuan proposal Penelitan dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (P2M) dosen setiap semesternya. Ada sekitar ratusan proposal P2M yang masuk ke LPPM UNILAK. LPPM UNILAK.
