Abstract

The best service includes providing fast service so that customers can arrive quickly. The service here can be in the form of improving the queuing system. Queues can occur if the need for a service exceeds the available demand. One service sector with a queuing system is the Community Health Center. The Community Health Center is a functional implementing unit that is a health development center for fostering community participation in the health sector. So, research was carried out to evaluate the queuing system at the Unter Iwes Health Center registration counter in Sumbawa District to optimize queuing services. The study results show that the queuing system currently used at the registration counter at the Unter Iwes Health Center, Sumbawa sub-district, namely Single Channel-Single Phase, is still optimal, as indicated by a steady state value of less than one. On Monday, it was found that the average queue in the system (????s) was one person, the average queue in the queue (????q) was one person, while the probability that the number of patients in the queue would not occur (????o) was 0%. The average waiting time in the system (????s) is 0.24 minutes, while the average waiting time in the queue (????q) is 0.15 minutes, the server busy level (K) is 64%, and the server unemployment level (W) is 36%.

Abstract

Omah Jenang is one of the industries engaged in the production of traditional snacks. Currently Omah Jenang does not yet have guidelines for realizing the formation of the composition of production quantities correctly based on calculations that still use forecasting methods. Therefore Omah Jenang often experiences difficulties in providing raw materials and determining maximum profits. The purpose of this study was to de-termine the optimum yield of profits at Omah Jenang by using the simplex method linear program with the help of Lindo Software. The data used is food production data at the Omah Jenang Home Industry in 2022. The method used in this study is the Linear Pro-gramming simplex method and the Lindo Software application. The results of optimization calculations using the linear programming method and the help of Lindo Software are that the maximum profit in a month is IDR 20,000,000 in producing 800 packages of madumongso. Based on the calculation results it can be concluded that the benefits obtained by using the simplex method with the help of Lindo Software can be obtained maximum results.

Abstract

Image processing is generally used to repair an image that is affected by interference or noise. The goal is so that the resulting image is easy for humans to understand. Edge detection is one of the scientific fields of image processing. To get better image detection results, a diffusion process can be used using the two-dimensional diffusion equation. Initial conditions and boundary conditions are needed in the two-dimensional diffusion equation which is then used to improve image edge detection. The scheme used is an explicit scheme. The time variable is important in this process. The edges of the image will change increasingly as increases. This process continues until . Several examples will be given to illustrate the results for the diffusion process in image edge detection.

Abstract

Health is a basic right for every citizen and is one of the country's investments that must be considered. There are still many people we meet who are unable to fulfill their health needs due to limitations in medical expenses. One way that someone prepares themselves to overcome the risk of illness is by registering for insurance such as health insurance. Health insurance is a guarantee provided by the central government, local government, and the private sector to ensure that people have access to health services called health insurance. The results of this study are the grouping of districts / cities in West Java Province based on the variable percentage of the population who have health insurance obtained using multidimensional scaling analysis as many as 4 groups with a STRESS value of 9.9% which is included in the good category

Abstract

Queueing systems are a critical element in the operational management of service processes for goods, such as repairs, warranty claims, or product replacements. Efficient queue management can enhance productivity, reduce customer waiting times, and provide a better service experience. This study aims to apply petri nets to model the queueing system for product service processes. The resulting model, comprising five places and six transitions, was evaluated through simulation using the PIPE software and further analyzed with max-plus algebra. This analysis produced matrix equations capable of estimating service times and the duration of the queueing process until completion, thereby expected to improve the efficiency and quality of service in the queueing system.

Abstract

Self-medication or self-medication is an action taken by a person to treat minor health problems independently without consulting a doctor. Gastritis is a condition when the amount of stomach acid increases, causing stomach irritation. Typical symptoms of gastritis include pain and tenderness in the pit of the stomach even though you have previously eaten. If the pain only occurs before eating and then disappears after eating, this indicates excessive stomach acid production and you are not suffering from gastritis. Usually gastritis is caused by an open wound in the inner lining of the stomach. This research aims to apply statistical analysis of the Spearman rank test to determine the relationship between level of knowledge and gastritis self-medication behavior. The research method used is descriptive analytic using a cross-sectional design, using a purposive sampling method. The number of samples used in this research was 127 people who met the inclusion criteria. The statistical data analysis used was the Spearman Rank test. Where the analysis shows the results of the Spearman Rank test, a significant value of 0.000 was obtained.

Abstract

There are various problems that must be faced by convection industry owners in Lamongan district in order to get optimal results in their business. These problems can include production costs, production time, production quality and income from products sold. The aim of this research is to optimize problems through implementing a multi-objective assignment method. The assignment method used in this research is the Weighted-Sum method, where this method changes the multi-objective objective function into one objective function by assigning weights to each objective function on a scalar basis. Based on the results of the implementation of the weighted-sum method, a pair of workers with tasks with optimal total resources was obtained.

Abstract

The increase in Value-Added Tax to 12% in 2025 has sparked diverse public opinions on the social media platform X (Twitter). This study aims to classify public sentiment toward the policy using Multinomial Naïve Bayes with a Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) approach. Multinomial Naïve Bayes is a probabilistic classification algorithm that assumes feature independence. Data were collected through web crawling using the keyword "ppn 12%" and underwent pre-processing, including text normalization, stopword removal, and stemming. To address class imbalance, the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) was applied. The best-performing model was obtained by tuning the alpha hyperparameter to 0.01, achieving an average accuracy of 83.37%, precision of 83.32%, recall of 83.38%, and an F1-score of 82.99% using 10-fold cross-validation. The findings indicate that Multinomial Naïve Bayes, combined with SMOTE and hyperparameter tuning, effectively classifies public sentiment and provides insights into public responses regarding the Value-Added Tax policy.
