Abstract

The development of technology in this millennial era has a profound effect on the world of information technology. In the field of education the use of information and communication technology can provide solutions and ease in conducting the learning process, and as a tool to master a competency in the form of a computer. This educational game research can be implemented as seen from the results of tests conducted using the user acceptance testing method conducted on 10 students as samples that get an average score of 9 can be concluded that this Educational Information & Communication Technology Game is Interesting, easy to understand, easy to operate , support policies, help / facilitate, this application is good, good documentation, sophisticated application technology, free of errors and needs to be implemented.

Abstract

System damage to the operating system, errors in the operating system, with damage to software and hardware. The detection system is expected to be more flexible than an ordinary expert system, because in an ordinary expert system the consultation is guided while in the detection system using the text similarity method, the user can express the consultation using free expressions on the user consultation menu by using the user consultation text. The system uses the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency method. Once the operating system malfunction query is filled in to the system, the query preprocessing is carried out and the text document is in the database, dedicating the weight of the relationship of a word to the document. After doing the word weighting process, then do the document crunching against the query using the Cosine Similarity method. A collection of text that has been classified in the database which is used as the basis of knowledge and the text consulted as a query, obtained the operating system damage detection system with two categories, namely software and hardware damage. The system is able to create consulted crashes by checking the similarity of the query text and knowledge base. The results of the evaluation using a matrix that shows an accuracy value of 70 percent, the next research in error detection using text similarity is expected to increase the reliability of the system with even greater assessments.

Abstract

A motorbike is a type of transportation that runs on an engine and has two wheels. Used is something that has been called not new. Human need for transportation means the most in the use of motorbikes. Economic limitations of some people choose to buy used motorbikes. In the selection, it is difficult to help consumers determine the choice of vehicle to be purchased. This is because there are so many types of motorbikes in one brand. This study aims to recommend a reference solution as a basis for consideration in selecting a used motorbike. This decision support system in solving this problem uses AHP and TOPSIS. The AHP method was chosen because it produces weighted criteria. Meanwhile, TOPSIS was chosen because for ranking determination, it is expected to provide the best used motorbike recommendation solutions to buyers

Abstract

Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress and can be beneficial in some situations. It can alert us to dangers and help us prepare and pay attention. Anxiety disorders differ from normal feelings of nervousness or anxiousness, and involve excessive fear or anxiety. Anxiety disorders can cause people into try to avoid situations that trigger or worsen their symptoms. There are several types of anxiety disorders, including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a disorder in which people have recurring, unwanted thoughts, ideas or sensations (obsessions) that make them feel driven to do something repetitively (compulsions). The repetitive behaviors, such as hand washing, checking on things or cleaning, can significantly interfere with a person’s daily activities and social interactions. This Expert system which implement Dempster Shafer Method can help anyone to make sure that they have OCD and need psichologist help to prevent this distress becoming worst.

Abstract

Selection is the process of selecting candidates who meet the requirements or standards that have been set. One of them is in the educational institutions in the selection of New Student Admissions, in the selection of new student data must be precise, this time the Study discusses the case in the Vocational High School State 1 Cibadak, is still using the manual system using Microsoft Excel applications in new student selection, this caused new student data to be incorrect so that the committee was overwhelmed in ranking the ranking. Making new student selection Information System using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method facilitates the committee and prospective students in registering and processing grades data because with the SAW method the value processing has been automatically ranked based on the highest grade and the decision received or not received by students can be seen.

Abstract

The development of information technology has created convenience and accuracy in decision making within government agencies and companies. The problem that often arises in a company is about the payroll system, this is a lot we see in electronic and print media there are employees who do demos to demand an increase in salary and no transparency in payroll. The use of computers in any company is very common and ordinary, because there are already many and even all companies use computers as a medium for storing data and controlling data. But the data storage system is still manual for example with Ms. Excell is still lacking in data storage systems. Where so far the recording of the salary of employees is still using the manual system. Given the payroll in a company is an important thing and requires proper handling so that there are no errors in the calculation of employee work hours or extra hours / overtime hours, so we need a system that can overcome these problems. Using VB.Net 2008 Programming can help in making reports that are fast, accurate, timely and also eliminate the constraints that exist in making salary data reports.

Abstract

In this day and age, motorbikes have an important role in transportation facilities, motorbike users are increasingly dense, especially in the city of Semarang, which is not accompanied by information media. The lack of media information regarding damage to the motorbike makes it difficult for someone to know the cause of the damage to the motorbike, not to mention the Kawasaki KLX150 which happens a lot of engine damage. For this reason, the expert system diagnoses motor damage by knowing the type of motor damage, after that diagnostics and alternative solutions to the problem are carried out. With this, the method and algorithm used is Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) using the Similarity 3W-Jaccard calculation, this second method and algorithm can be used to diagnose damage from the symptoms in the database. Each symptom has a weighted value of each, including a value of 5 (five) for severe symptoms, relating to engine and electrical parts, a value of 3 (three) for moderate symptoms, relating to braking and chains, a value of 1 (one) mild symptom, relating to with the indicator on the speedometer. The system will display 5 (five) types of damage calculated using the 3W-Jaccard Algorithm sorted by the highest value. The revision process will appear if the similarity calculation results are less than 0.6 (zero point six) because it is considered that the results are not sufficiently similar to the solution to be repaired, it needs to be reviewed and will be entered into the review table, then the expert will find a solution.

Abstract

As Lembaga Penjamin Mutu (LPM) or Quality Assurance Institution of Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW), it has many responsibilities to improve quality of UKSW such as the quality of curriculum, lecturers, facilities, etc. LPM works with big data on daily basis, therefore it needs to improve efficiency at work and of course to make it easier. In this case LPM often have to deal with Pangkalan Data Pendidikan Tinggi (PDDikti) to give report to the government about student data of UKSW. Therefore, it is needed a web-based system to filter active student from excel file so that it will make LPM works easier and more efficient.

Abstract

Biometric system is a development of the basic method of identification system by using the characteristics of humans as it’s object. These include face, fingerprints, signature, palms, iris, ears, sounds even DNA. Face recognition is one of the identification techniques in biometrics that uses part of the face as its parameter. One of the biometric parts of face is Iris. Iris is a unique part of the eyes, this is because the pattern of the somebody eyes will be quite different from the other, even genetically identical twins have different iris patterns. This research will use the Hough and Gabor method to perform iris recognition. The  results show that the application has succeeded in recognizing the selected eye image if the eye image is registered in the database.

Abstract

Changes in human behavior against the times, this causes business actors, especially culinary businesses to innovate so that the business they run continues to survive. With this competence, it causes more problems, one of which is the emergence of startups that eventually become competitors in the business world in all fields. All business owners have an innovation by analyzing food and beverage sales to generate new opportunities which will then be used to identify future opportunities. This affects the income and expenses obtained by companies and restaurants. This research paper generates new knowledge, namely by using the Na Bayve Bayes algorithm to generate an opportunity in the sale of food and beverages based on sales in the previous month. The results of the analysis process will be used for the benefit of restaurants in marketing optimization efforts. This new knowledge will also provide information such as the results of sales opportunities in the following months
