Abstract

Extraordinary events that surpass the ability of the human senses to understand it in Islamic literature are called miracles. Miracles become one of the signs of the truth of a prophet sent by Allah SWT. The Quran is the greatest miracle given to the last prophet, the Prophet Muhammad. By the scholars of the Koran there have been various studies on the extraordinary aspects contained in the Koran. They found many amazing things in it. So as to provoke other researchers to uncover and reveal other extraordinary sides contained in it. This brief article narrates some of the extraordinary aspects contained in the Quran that have been studied by experts in their fields

Abstract

This article discusses understanding the Quranic text with a hermeneutic approach to a contemporary approach that offers a new approach to interpreting the Qur’an (philosophically). In this hermeneutic approach the texts of the Quran do not stand alone, but are very dependent on the surrounding context, which includes text, context, and contextualization. The existence of hermeneutics with its own methodology brings a new nuance in the interpretation of the Quran. With this method the Qur’an is no longer considered as something sacred, because in the eyes of hermeneutics when the text descends and is in the midst of the reality of human life, it is fully owned by humans and has the right to be interpreted, internalized, and understood whatever it wants. Everything contained in the text, for hermeneutics, can be interpreted and understood its meaning clearly. And this is what distinguishes it fundamentally from the theme of interpretation in the Ulumul Quran discourse

Abstract

Amtsal is one of the redaction diversity and uslub al-Quran which is very interesting because it is the media of divine messages transformation order to more quickly get to the soul. The metaphor verses provides an opportunity that is wide enough to be interpreted. However, in interpreting the Quran need to contextualise and actualization of that Quran feels more alive. And one of commentary books with contextual model is Tafsir al-Manar. When it is compared with the works of other commentators, the Muhammad Abduhs work give high appreciation of the study of the verses that is categorized as amtsal so in this study were directed to examine the interpretation of amtsal mus}arrah}ah verses in Tafsir al-Manar especially those of the hypocrites. The interpretation presented by Abduh about the hypocrites differ with the interpretation of the scholars in general. Some scholars built hypocritical concept on the understanding of theology, while the interpretation of  Abduh built on the pattern adabi ijtima‘i thus giving birth to a new understanding of the concept of the hypocrites in the Quran.

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman dan meningkatnya pergerakan ekonomi membuka peluang seluas-luasnya bagi perempuan untuk turut andil di dalamnya. Tenaga perempuan yang turut diberdayakan dalam berbagai sektor yang kemudian fenomena ini ternyata berdampak positif dan negative pada lini kehidupan lainnya seperti sisi ekonomi, sosial, pendidikan dan pembangunan. Islam sendiri memiliki jawaban atas kendala sosial yang disandarkan kepada keterlibatan perempuan di ranah publik. Abstract

This article discusses the nafs (soul) in the Quranic Perspective. The concept of the Qur’an regarding the best nafs is to refer to the human side in a potentially good way, resulting in good behavior. In the sense of a positive nafs who can always control himself from his desires to goodness. Not a few verses in the Qur’an that encourage humans to maintain the sanctity of lust and not dirty it. And it can be concluded that humans are endowed with nafs by Allah, with the nafs that humans can live to function as they should. With nafs, man works. And with the nafs is human worship

Abstract

This article discusses about how a person behaves when receiving information that comes from trusted people or those who are not trusted. Islam, explains to every Muslim to be selective in receiving information. This selectivity needs to be done to avoid undesirable things. Because errors in receiving information can have a fatal effect on social life. Selective means checking and recharging both the news source and the news delivered, so that the information received is accurate in accordance with the actual conditions

Abstract

Dalam al-Quran kata “Tuhan” dipakai untuk sebutan tuhan selain Allah, seperti menyebut berhala, hawa nafsu, dan dewa. Namun kata “Allah” adalah sebutan khusus dan tidak dimiliki oleh kata lain selain-Nya, kerena hanya Tuhan Yang Maha Esa yang wajib wujud-Nya itu yang berhak menyandang nama tersebut, selain-Nya tidak ada, bahkan tidak boleh. Hanya Dia juga yang berhak memperoleh keagungan dan kesempurnaan mutlak, sebagaimana tidak ada nama yang lebih agung dari nama-Nya itu. Keesaan Allah dapat dibuktikan  dengan tiga bagian pokok, yaitu : kenyataan wujud yang tampak, rasa yang terdapat dalam jiwa manusia, dan dalil-dalil logika. Kenyataan wujud yang tampak al-Quran menggunakan seluruh wujud sebagai bukti,  khususnya  keberadaan  alam  raya  ini dengan segala isinya. Secara logis hanya ada satu Tuhan.  Apabila Tuhan lebih dari satu maka hanya satu saja yang tampil sebagai yang pertama, dan juga  seandainya ada dua pencipta, maka akan  kacau  ciptaan,  karena  jika  masing-masing pencipta menghendaki  sesuatu  yang tidak dikehendaki oleh yang lain, maka kalau keduanya berkuasa, ciptaan pun  akan  kacau  atau tidak  akan mewujud; kalau salah satu mengalahkan yang lain, maka yang kalah  bukan  Tuhan;  dan  apabila  mereka  berdua bersepakat, maka itu merupakan bukti kebutuhan dan kelemahan mereka, sehingga keduanya bukan Tuhan,  karena  Tuhan  tidak mungkin membutuhkan sesuatu atau lemah atas sesuatu.

Abstract

This article talks about the ordering of breastfeeding in the Quran through reviewing of Albaqarah verse 233 and then correlated to other supporting verses. In general, breastfeeding is a natural activity of woman who has a child. However, the Quran sees it as aprivilege for women, rather than a command of Allah. Breastfeeding is also full of benefits for human being. For advanced discussion, the reasons for the order can be scientifically proven havinga lot of beneficial both psychologically and physically for child and mother. Scientific facts show that the composition of breast milk contains the elements needed by the child that not found in others. Thus, it will physically make the child healthy. The breastfeeding process also helps mothers overcome their psychological problems postpartum, and will strengthen the emotional bond to children (bounding attachment).

Abstract

This article aims to understand what the concept of the infallibility of prophets and messengers by seeing some interpretations of some verses contained in the Qoran are considered as ‘itâb (admonition/warning) for one of the prophets, he is the prophet Muhammad pbu. The data of this study was obtained through primary  literature, it is an interpretation literature (kitab tafsir) of classic interpreter (mufassir) and some modern interpreters. This study was discussed in the descriptive-comparative analysis by using the infallibility (‘ismah )theory . Initially, the writer described admonition’s verses  that will be studied by comparing it with two other interpretations, and then analyzed it. Thus it was found that interpreters  differed in recognizing the exictence of admonition’s verses to the prophet Muhammad pbu  in the Qoran. Finally, the study has analyzed and was found that the admonitions were not for a mistake or a sin that will eliminate  the infallibility attribute that had attached to him, but it was as manifestations of the compassion of Allah to the Prophet in  order to not too forces his self in preaching, because however he had do all the commands of Allah to convey  all of his message or revelation.

Abstract

In this paper, some methodologies were identified that have traditionally been used by the Muslims to read the Al-Qur’an. Then, it is shown how the methodology that led to mix between the Koran and secondary religious texts, as well as resulting in the marginalization of the Koran in Muslim religious discourse, whereas the Al-Qur’an itself has a unique status as the holy book of Islam. In analyzing about textuality, studied two conceptualizations of the relationship, ie, between the word of God and the times, and the conservative approach and progressive approach, the following impact on the interpretation of the Koran. Finally, we review some of the historical trend in the formation of knowledge, methods, and religious significance, to highlight the role of the state and the entire community in the process of interpretation.
