Abstract

This paper discusses the Method of Tahfidz Al-Quran at the Boarding Schools in the Regency of Kampar. The method used in fostering students at the Boarding Schools of this Regency was the focus of this study. It was a qualitative approach which was conducted at the Boarding School of Daarun Nahdhah, Al-Badr, the Ansar al-Sunnah, Daar al-Salafi, Sabil al-Salam and al-Taufik. Interview, documentation and observation were the instrumentations used in this study. It was found that the boarding schools in the regency of Kampar used various methods in nurturing students to employ activities of tahfizd al-Qur’an, by means of reading carefully and repeatedly to memorize verse-by-verse without neglecting the Mushaf (annadzar), memorizing verse-by-verse over and over and finally the students could learn by heart (al-Wahdah), depositing or listening what the students had newly been memorized to a teacher (talaqqi), memorizing piecemeal of the Qur’anic verses and read the verses repeatedly (takrir) and listening the memorized verses to others, i.g. both to friends and other congregation (tasmi’)

Abstract

This article talks about the ordering of breastfeeding in the Quran through reviewing of Albaqarah verse 233 and then correlated to other supporting verses. In general, breastfeeding is a natural activity of woman who has a child. However, the Quran sees it as aprivilege for women, rather than a command of Allah. Breastfeeding is also full of benefits for human being. For advanced discussion, the reasons for the order can be scientifically proven havinga lot of beneficial both psychologically and physically for child and mother. Scientific facts show that the composition of breast milk contains the elements needed by the child that not found in others. Thus, it will physically make the child healthy. The breastfeeding process also helps mothers overcome their psychological problems postpartum, and will strengthen the emotional bond to children (bounding attachment).

Abstract

This study aims to explore the rationality of Kan'an in the story of Prophet Noah (AS) from the perspective of the Qur'an. The story of Prophet Noah is one of the significant narratives in the Qur'an with profound relevance in understanding Islam. This research focuses on the attitude of Kan'an, one of Prophet Noah's sons, who refused to follow his father's command to board the ark that would save them from the forthcoming great flood as a punishment for the disbelieving people. The research methodology involves an in-depth textual analysis of the Qur'an using the thematic exegesis approach (tafsir maudhu’i). The analysis results indicate that Kan'an's attitude in the story can be interpreted rationally from certain perspectives. Factors such as cultural identity, fear of uncertainty, and considerations of resources and safety form the basis for his decision. This study significantly contributes to our understanding of the complexity of narratives in the Qur'an and their relevance to contemporary cultural and social contexts. Furthermore, this research emphasizes the importance of a hermeneutic approach that is sensitive to cultural contexts in interpreting religious texts.

Abstract

Di antara ulama kontemporer yang membahas permasalahan ikhtilaf adalah ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abdurra?m?n al-Bass?m dalam kitab Taw??? al-A?k?m. Berbagai macam persoalan ikhtilaf dikemukakan oleh al-al-Bass?m dalam kitab ini. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apa yang dimaksud dengan persoalan ikhtil?f dan apa metode yang digunakan oleh al-Bass?m dalam menyelesaikan persoalan ikhtil?f dalam kitab Taw??? al-A?k?m?. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti apa yang dimaksud dengan persoalan ikhtil?f dan bagaimana metode al-Bass?m dalam menyelesaikan persoalan-persoalan ikhtil?f dalam kitab Taw??? al-A?k?m. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatf deskriptif dengan melibatkan metode dokumentasi. Data-data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode content alysis (analisis isi). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa yang dimaksud dengan persoalan ikhtilaf adalah perbedaan pandangan yang terjadi di kalangan para ulama atau mujtahid dalam memahami sebuah teks al-Qur’an dan hadis. Terdapat tiga metode yang digunakan al-Bass?m dalam menyelesaikan persoalan ikhtil?f dalam kitab Taw??? al-A?k?m, yaitu ‘ar? al-aqw?l, mun?qsyah al-adillah dan al-tarj??.

Abstract

In the increasingly developing digital era, endorsements have become a popular marketing strategy on social media. However, for a Muslim woman who becomes an influencer, this activity must be by Sharia values, which include honesty, transparency, and moral responsibility. This study aims to analyze the application of Islamic legal principles in endorsement activities by Muslim influencers. The research method is descriptive and qualitative, with data obtained through observation and literature studies. The results of the research show that all muamalah can be done unless there are arguments that prohibit it. Therefore, Muslim influencers must comply with Sharia principles, which include product halalness, clarity of status in transactions, price compliance with quality, and honesty in conveying information. The novelty of this research lies in the deep integration of Islamic legal principles with digital endorsement. This study extends the discourse of Islamic law into the context of modern marketing. It offers applicable ethical guidance for Muslim influencers in the digital era by introducing the perspective of maqashid Sharia (the objectives of Sharia) in endorsement activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran advokasi hukum keluarga Islam melalui mediasi dalam membangun keharmonisan dalam keluarga. Dalam konteks hukum keluarga Islam, mediasi merupakan metode penyelesaian sengketa yang diutamakan untuk menyelesaikan konflik rumah tangga tanpa harus melalui proses perceraian yang berlarut-larut. Penelitian ini mengkaji pentingnya mediasi sebagai alat advokasi hukum yang tidak hanya mengutamakan penyelesaian masalah, tetapi juga mengedepankan nilai-nilai kasih sayang, kesabaran, dan keadilan yang tercermin dalam ajaran Islam. Proses mediasi yang melibatkan mediator sebagai pihak ketiga yang netral berfungsi untuk membantu pihak yang berselisih dalam menemukan solusi yang saling menguntungkan, dengan tujuan untuk menjaga keharmonisan keluarga dan kesejahteraan anak-anak. Penelitian ini juga membahas dampak mediasi dalam mengurangi ketegangan dan memberikan ruang bagi suami-istri untuk memperbaiki komunikasi dan hubungan mereka. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur dan wawancara terhadap praktisi hukum Islam dan mediator keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa advokasi hukum keluarga Islam melalui mediasi memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam mempertahankan keutuhan keluarga, mengurangi dampak negatif perceraian, serta menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi perkembangan anak. Kesimpulannya, mediasi merupakan pendekatan yang relevan dan efektif dalam menyelesaikan konflik keluarga, sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah yang menekankan pentingnya musyawarah dan keadilan. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic family law advocacy through mediation in fostering harmony within families. In the context of Islamic family law, mediation is a prioritized method for resolving domestic conflicts without resorting to prolonged divorce proceedings. This research examines the importance of mediation as a legal advocacy tool that not only focuses on problem resolution but also emphasizes values such as compassion, patience, and justice, as reflected in Islamic teachings. The mediation process, involving a neutral third-party mediator, facilitates disputing parties in finding mutually beneficial solutions, with the goal of preserving family harmony and ensuring the well-being of children. This study also explores the impact of mediation in reducing tensions and providing space for spouses to improve their communication and relationship. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing literature reviews and interviews with Islamic legal practitioners and family mediators. The findings reveal that Islamic family law advocacy through mediation plays a significant role in maintaining family integrity, reducing the negative impacts of divorce, and creating a conducive environment for children's development. In conclusion, mediation is a relevant and effective approach to resolving family conflicts, aligning with Sharia principles that emphasize the importance of consultation and justice

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas perspektif tafsir kontemporer terhadap ayat-ayat ekonomi dalam Al-Quran dan implementasinya dalam sistem keuangan Islam. Dalam upaya memahami bagaimana prinsip-prinsip ekonomi yang diatur dalam Al-Quran dapat diterapkan dalam konteks modern, penelitian ini mengkaji berbagai tafsir kontemporer yang memberikan wawasan baru dan relevan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis tematik untuk mengeksplorasi interpretasi ayat-ayat ekonomi oleh para mufassir kontemporer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tafsir kontemporer menawarkan pendekatan yang lebih dinamis dan kontekstual dalam memahami ayat-ayat ekonomi, yang mencakup aspek-aspek seperti keadilan, transparansi, dan kesejahteraan bersama. Implementasi keuangan Islam yang berdasarkan pada tafsir ini menekankan pentingnya etika, tanggung jawab sosial, dan prinsip-prinsip syariah dalam praktik keuangan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam menghubungkan teks-teks suci dengan praktik keuangan modern, serta menegaskan relevansi ajaran Islam dalam membangun sistem ekonomi yang adil dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of hedonistic lifestyles on marital infidelity and relationship stability. Using a qualitative approach, data was gathered through in-depth interviews with two couples who have experienced the adverse impacts of such lifestyles on their marriages. The research findings highlight that a hedonistic orientation typically undermines both commitment and satisfaction within relationships, potentially leading to infidelity. Analysis suggests that hedonism distracts individuals from long-term relationship goals, fostering a culture of immediate gratification detrimental to marital cohesion. The study recommends integrating cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques in couple counseling sessions to counter these effects. This intervention is aimed at helping couples develop healthier communication patterns and more effective impulse control, which are crucial for maintaining relationship stability. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of proactive therapeutic strategies that focus on enhancing interpersonal connections and managing detrimental lifestyle influences. These findings contribute to understanding how lifestyle choices affect marital dynamics and offer practical approaches for therapists working with couples facing similar challenges.

Abstract

In an effort to understand the relationship between Islamic teachings and the development of modern science, the analysis of the interpretive principles applied in Tafsir Al-Manar by Muhammad Abduh and Muhammad Rasyid Ridha becomes highly relevant. This study aims to analyze the interpretive principles employed in Tafsir Al-Manar, particularly in the context of scientific verses. The method used in this paper is library research, which involves collecting data from various relevant literatures. The results of the analysis show that Tafsir Al-Manar applies profound and relevant interpretive principles by connecting the verses of the Qur'an with Hadith, utilizing a rational approach, and emphasizing social, moral, and historical contexts. This tafsir is distinguished from others by its balanced interpretation method (mustawah), explaining the meanings of verses in detail without excessive elaboration. By linking revelation with modern knowledge, Tafsir Al-Manar serves as a bridge between Islamic tradition and contemporary challenges. With its innovative approach, Tafsir Al-Manar demonstrates that the Qur'an can be understood in the context of modern science, making it a source of inspiration for Muslims in facing the challenges of the times.
