Abstract

The development of the aviation industry in Indonesia increased significantly the last few years, so it is necessary adequate Aircraft Technician/Engineer (TPU), both the number and qualifications. The problem is, the amount of TPU in Indonesia is very limited and the majority academic level only senior high school, it making less competitive. The purpose of study to find out efforts to increase the number and qualifications of TPU by PT GMF Aero Asia Garuda Group (GMFAA) is cooperating with six universities in Indonesia to produce TPU with D-III level. Studies done by observation, interview and direct involvement at the Basic Aircraft Maintenance (BAM) for instructor, organized by GMFAA for 1,920 hours. The data were analyzed descriptively to obtain qualitative research. The study shows that in the first batch (2015-2016) has trained 16 lecturers of 6 universities to conduct AMTO class at each campus. In the first year (2015) has opened AMTO classes at six campuses with 226 students and 216 in the second year (2016). From the 4th year (2018) will certainly be produced aircraft technician/engineer with D-III qualifiers at least 200 people, so it's very helpful to accelerate the fulfillment of TPU in Indonesia Keywords— Aircraft Technician/Engineer, maintenance, AMTO

Abstract

Website adalah sebuah cara untuk menampilkan diri di Internet. Dapat diibaratkan Website adalah sebuah tempat di Internet, siapa saja di dunia ini dapat mengunjunginya, kapan saja seseorang dapat mengetahui tentang diri orang lain, memberi pertanyaan pada seseorang, serta memberikan masukkan atau bahkan mengetahui dan membeli suatu produk.         Desain website yang baik dapat diperoleh melalui user interface dan user experience. Suatu desain website yang baik akan membuat pengunjung ingin berlama-lama pada situs web tersebut. Tetapi sebaliknya, sebuah desain website yang buruk membuat pengunjung dapat pergi meninggalkan situs web tersebut.         Tujuan penelitian adalah menerapkan metoda pengurutan  quicksort  untuk mengolah data website di Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Adisutjipto (STTA) Yogyakarta dari sudut pandang user interface dan user experience yang merupakan bagian dari Human Computer Interaction (HCI). guna dilakukan evaluasi  dan  menindalanjuti  pembenahan  website STTA agar lebih baik lagi dalam memenuhi harapan pengguna/pengunjung. Hasil penerapan  metoda pengurutan quicksort ini juga untuk membanding hasil pengurutan data-data variabel  pada pertanyaan kuisioner dengan penelitian penulis sebelumnya.

Abstract

Abstract — Structure Repair Manual (SRM) is a manufacture guidelines issued by the MRO (Maintenance and Repair Organization) who have the authority to perform a repair aircraft. SRM function as an actual reference in doing a modification SRM repair. In its application modifications can be done by changing the layout variations and variations of fastener used. To determine the feasibility of a repair configuration modifications done by modeling and analysis to determine the maximum stress that occurs in both configurations. In this research, modeling and analysis using software CATIA V5R21. Created 2 configuration model that SRM structure repair and modification of the structure of SRM repair. Both models are given internal pressure load, while the fastener strength was tested by making a simpler model to provide tensile load.The maximum stress that occurs in structures that modification SRM repair is 18265 Psi by the internal pressure loading, whereas for tension loading cases amounted to 22380.9 Psi. Based on the margin of safety the modifications structure of SRM repair declared to be safer than SRM structure repair. Keywords    : skin fuselage, repair, crack, SRM

Abstract

Simulasi numeric aliran fluida tak mampat dilakukan menggunakan metode beda hingga. Persamaan atur yang digunakan terdiri dari persamaan kontinyuitas dan persamaan momentum untuk aliran tak tunak dan fluida tak mampat. Persamaan atur didiskretisasi menggunakan metode beda hingga implicit pada grid staggered. Diskritisasi turunan waktu didekati dengan metode Euler dan turunan ruang didekati dengan metode beda hinggga. Prosedur penyelesaian persamaan atur menggunakan skema pressure correction. Perbandingan hasil perhitungan nilai kecepatan u pada x=0.5 dengan hasil perhitungan dari literature menunjukkan kesesuaian yang baik.Metode beda hingga pada grid staggered mampu menyelesaikan persoalan aliran fluida tak mampat sampai dengan bilangan Rey= 104.Kata kunci: metode beda hingga, grid staggered, pressure correction

Abstract

Each system installed in the aircraft requires high accuracy . Aircraft maintenance will be able to be reliable if all maintenance support needs ergonomically designed . One factor that is needed in the laboratory is an ergonomic layout needs good facilities . The layout of the facility that will support in improving the accuracy required in aircraft maintenance . The purpose of this study is to determine and organize work area and all the optimal aircraft maintenance facilities . The method used is to use the ARC and the Work Sheet . Based on the results of the analysis using ARC and Work Sheet layout arrangement forms an ideal material for aircraft maintenance is fixed (fixed material location ) . While the treatment facility will be located around the main products,namely plane that is on the floor is desired perawatan. Hope STTA as sound institutions may have facilities aerospace aircraft maintenance practices are sufficient.

Abstract

The increase in the number of foreign tourists who are interested in visiting DIY significantly because this region has various world-class attractions, one of which is Malioboro. Currently, tourist infrastructure such as road access, transportation, and revitalization Malioboro has been built so as to facilitate the tourists and local tourists to travel to Malioboro. Transportation facilities that facilitate the tourists one of them is Trans Jogja bus. Trans Jogja bus route that supports transportation from the airport to Malioboro is Trans Jogja bus with route 1A and route 3A so that needed a medium that can give information of bus route of Trans Jogja from Airport to Malioboro and vice versa. The media in the form of three-dimensional animation based on mobile android that can be more informative, making it easier for tourists to understand the route of Trans Jogja bus route. Making interactive media using 3ds max software with motion tween animation concept. the design and concept is then implemented in the form of animated movie. Application testing using black-box testing method. the results of the test show that the application is running well, the button on the application can be used, the route shown in accordance with the conventional map and can show the routes of bus routes according to the route used.

Abstract

Animations are one of multimedia technology which can accelerate the perspective about something, including the aircraft flight controls and landing gears function. Production process of animation on 3 Dimensional Aircraft model Supri Sukhoi Superjet 100 using NURBS Modelling method.  Production process of animation on 3 Dimensional Aircraft model Supri Sukhoi Superjet 100 using Pre Production, Production and Post Production, that the result can be presented in the form of simulation video, Flash game, and Powerpoint game. The special effect that added into model, video and game make it more attractive. The Results are tested on number of respondents who are Experts in the Aircraft Engineering. The Data showed that Almost to 100 percent of the components and fuctions of the aircraft.

Abstract

Crack on a structure will lead to hazard if it’s ignored, because It’s causing singularity to the tip of the cracked structure where the stress tend to infinity. Stress Intensity Factors(SIF) will determine the behaviour of the cracked structure, and it have have to figure it out. Many methods can estimate or predict the values of the SIF according to the crack mode and the crack types. Numerical mothod such as displacement extrapolation and Virtual crack closure technique is one of those method. Method of displacement extrapolation and VCCT in this research will estimate the value of the KI (SIF)of the mode I (opening mode) center type crack. Modelling and analyzing in a FEM based software is needed to accuire datas to calculate the KI. Nodal displacement and nodal force are those datas. Result shows that the displacement extrapolation method have small eror to the value of KI than the VCCT. Displacement extrapolation method also give simple calculaton than the VCCT. In order for VCCT method to be acurate, remeshing model is needed.

Abstract

The intersection of Kentungan is one of the intersections that connects North Ringroad Road and Kaliurang Street which looks increasingly stuck in Yogyakarta. This is due to an uneven increase in vehicle vehicles to road infrastructure. The peak of traffic jam at Intersection of Junction often occurs at 16.00-17.30 WIB. The problem at this junction is the amount of time delay and the length of the queue. One way to reduce congestion problems at the Intersection is to construct road infrastructure, one underpass. Based on these problems, research on the effect of underpass application on congestion parameters at several other intersections adjacent to the intersection of Kentungan. This research is a Multi Channel Multi Phase model configuration, by creating an underpass model of the Autodesk Infraworks 360 software. Before modeling underpass conditions, it is done in advance of the existing model of Intersection of Kentungan. The data inputted to this existing model is the total data of vehicles crossing the intersection of Kentungan for one hour. Verification model in this research is done by visual testing and check the duration of green light at the time of simulation done. Validation in this research is done by using hypothesis test, paired t-test. Then the parameters for validation are data ie the average waiting time of the vehicle, the maximum queue length and the number of vehicles passing through the green light in one cycle.In this study using two scenarios, in scenario 1 is the underpass model with the condition of the intersection and the scenario 2 is the underpass model with the roundabout condition. The results obtained from both scenarios are compared with the existing model results. The compared parameters are the average vehicle delay time and maximum queue length on each approach. It is expected from the comparison analysis to show that the Kentungan Intersection after the built underpass has decreased significantly on the average delay time and maximum queue length .

Abstract

The use of a battery to meet the electricity demand in Indonesia is still needed in the community. Inside there is a liquid electrolyte battery that serves as an energy source battery. In this study, the source of energy used is garlic, spinach and salt. All energy sources are mixed into three compositions based on a predetermined mass ratio. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the electrolyte of garlic, spinach and salt as an alternative source of electrical energy in the battery dry. How to adjust the composition of the material with a mass percentage used are: a. Composition I is 20% garlic, raw spinach 40% and 40% salt; b. Composition II was 40% garlic, raw spinach 20% and 40% salt; c. Composition III was  40% garlic, raw spinach 40% and 20% salt. Results from this research that a battery with a composition III has the highest electrical power to the composition III is 0974 mW. Therefore, a mixture of the composition III which contains garlic and spinach contain a lot of acid.
