Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of promotion on the achievement of consumer targets in Bumi Ciruas Permai Housing 2, to determine the effect of service on achieving consumer targets in Bumi Ciruas Permai Housing 2, as well as to determine the effect of promotion and service on achieving consumer targets in the Ciruas Earth Housing Permai 2. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative research which aims to find out how the level of service quality delivered by Bumi Ciruas Permai housing business in Ciruas to its customers. Descriptive research is research that is used to determine the attribute values independently, either one or more, without making comparisons or linking them with other elements. SPSS version 21 calculation results obtained t-count value of 0.929 and t-table of 1.987, indicating that the value of t count <t table (2.285 <1.987). The results of the calculation of SPPS version 21 obtained the t-count value of 0.929 and the t-table value of 1.987, indicating that the value of t-count <t-table (0.929> 1.987). Based on the results of the SPSS version 21 calculation obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.535 it can be concluded that between the promotion variable (X1) and service (X2) to the target consumer ignition (Y) has a strong enough relationship. 0,535 is at the interval coefficient 0,300 - 0,499 (medium). The calculation results obtained by the value of fcount> ftabel (17.066> 3.10). There is no promotion effect (X1) on the target consumer ignition (Y) on Bumi Ciruas Permai Housing 2. There is an influence between service (X2) on the target consumer ignition (Y) on Bumi Ciruas Permai Housing 2. There is a simultaneous influence between promotions (X1 ) and service (X2) to the target consumers ignition (Y) at Bumi Ciruas Permai Housing 2.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of conflict and work environment either partially or simultaneously on employee performance at PT. Imperial Graha Propertindo. The result of the research shows that there is no positive and significant influence between conflict and employee performance with the result of t test. With a value of 0.492 t count is greater than t table 3.81 with a significant value of 0.631, this value is greater than 0.05. There is no positive and significant influence between work environment and employee performance with the result of t test. With t count value 2.356 smaller than t table 3.81 with significant value 0.03, this value is smaller than 0.05. There is a positive and significant influence between conflict and work environment simultaneously on the performance of employees in targeted with test results f. With the f value of 6,602 is bigger than f table 3.18.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformasional leadership  and organization culture on employee performance with motivation as an intervening variable on employees of PT. TASPEN (Persero) Serang.In this study, there are four variables, namely Transformasional Leadership (X1), Organization Culture (X2), Employee Performance (Y), and Motivation (Z). The study involved 54 samples of employees of PT. TASPEN (Persero) Serang.To obtain accurate results in this study using interviews, observations, and questionnaires. This research uses descriptive method, data analysis, instrument test, multiple regression analysis, t test, intervening variable path analysis and sobel test with SPSS v22 calculation.The result of this research showed that : (1) Transformasional Leadership is negative and not significant impact on the Motivation, (2) Organization Culture is negative and not significant impact on the Motivation, (3) Transformasional Leadership positive and significant impact on the Employee Performance, (4) Organization Culture positive and not significant impact on the Employee Performance, (5) Motivation positive and significant impact on the Employee Performance

Abstract

Due to its geographic location near Singapore and Malaysia, Batam has potential contribution in developing tourism sector. The number of tourist arrival is one of indicator in the development of tourism sector. This variable needs to be forecasted to give input in the development of this sector. Simple time series method is used to model this conditions, they are Winters, Decomposition and naïve methods. Those three methods are part of time series analysis suitable for seasonal and trended data. Based on analysis, found that number of tourist arrival has a seasonal and trend pattern, which suit the requirement of those three methods. From the analysis performed, and based on RMSE and MAPE, Winters methods is best in modelling the training data, Decomposition methods is best in modelling testing data.

Abstract

This research examined the effect between beta, firm size, inflation, and interest rate to stock return. This research is based on samples of manufacture, non manufacture firms, and financial firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sample is selected based on completely data about dividends, stock price, total debt, total asset, and positive net income. The results of this research indicate that inflation, and interest rate significant impact on stock return. Whereas other variables like beta and firm size are not significant in this model.

Abstract

This research to identify the influence of good corporate governance (general meeting of shareholders, the board of independent commissioner, board of directors, audit committee), corporate social responsibility, financial performance (profitability ratio of net profit margin and return on investment) of the value of the company. This research uses secondary data from the 2009-2013 annual reports of public companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Research using 13 samples of food and beverages company. Through multiple linear regression analysis approach, the general meeting of shareholders, the board of independent commissioners, the board of directors have a negative and insignificant effect on the financial performance and corporate value. The audit committee has a positive and significant impact on firm value and does not have any impact on the financial performance. Financial performance is proxied by the net profit margin has no significant negative effect on firm value and financial performance is proxied by the return on investment has no significant positive effect on firm value.

Abstract

The tourism sector is an important sector for a country, because it can benefit many people such as the economic sector that can attract tourists and investors to continue to work with the country. The object of research in this study is the foreign tourists who visit Batam as their destination destination by using the method of Purposive Sampling, the sample must meet the characteristics of the main objectives in the study. This research uses Statistical Package for Social Sciences or (SPSS) application to analyze the influence of independent variable to dependent variable. The result of this research indicate that attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control variables significantly influence intention to visit and ideal social and destination familiarization variable there is no significant influence to dependent variable that is intention to visit

Abstract

This study examines the effect of budget participation, budget goal commitment, job satisfaction and managerial performance. This study uses a manufacturing company located in the district of Serangsebagai object of research. The number of samples in this study were 60 respondents. Data were analyzed by using SEM (Structural Equation Model) through the program SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) version 1.0. The results of this study states the effectiveness of budgetary control effect on the perception of procedural fairness. The effectiveness of budgetary control affect the propensity create budgetary slack. Participation budget affect the perception of procedural fairness. Ethical work climate influence the perception of procedural fairness. Ethical work climate does not affect the tendency to create budgetary slack. Perceptions of procedural justice affect the tendency to create budgetary slack. For manufacturing companies is expected to be used as a tool for evaluation and improvement  of  performance. For further research  is expected  to add  variable  external factors (job satisfaction, motivation, etc.) and add to the respondent. Researchers are also expected to develop further the research of various other business entities, such as the banking sector, hospitality, service, commercial or state-owned

Abstract

Indonesia is currently a developing country, therefore employees, workers or HR become valuable assets for the company and the country. When an employee thinks to stop or leave the company, this will certainly cause losses to the company both in the long and short term. Therefore, companies must understand the variables that can reduce the employees turnover intention.This study uses a minimum sample of 335 hotel employees based on the Krejcie and Morgan tables, obtained through 355 questionnaires distributed at 4 stars hotels in Lubuk Baja region, namely; BCC Hotel & Residence, Crown Vista Batam Hotel, Grand I Hotel, Harmoni Suites Hotel, and Horizon Ultima Hotel. The sample selection using purposive sampling method. Data processing in this research using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and Partial Least Square (PLS) program. The final result showed that organizational citizenship behavior, organizational justice, and transformational leadership had a significant positive effect on turnover intention, with organizational commitment acting as mediation. So it can be concluded that organizational citizenship behavior, organizational justice, transformational leadership, organizational commitment can affect the turnover intention of employees of 4 star hotel in Batam City.

Abstract

Research was conducted with the purpose of analyzing the behavior is to learn the influence of intellect and emotional stress for students studying accounting. Behavior learning consist of habit of following the lessons, practice reading books, visiting libraries, and the practice exam. Results of this research show that accounting students learning behavior provide a positive influence on the college stress, while the emotional quotient of accounting students have a significantly negative influence on the college stress. In this case the variables provide emotional intelligences more dominant influence on the college stress compared to behavioral variables studied
