Journal of Character Education Society (JCES) | ISSN 2614-3666, is one of the devotion journals managed by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Muhammadiyah University of Mataram and published every January and July. The publication of JCES aims to disseminate conceptual thinking and ideas, especially the results of community service, including: (1) science, applied, social, economic, cultural, ICT development, and administrative services, (2) training and improvement of educational technology outcomes, agriculture, information and communication, and religion (3) Teaching and empowering community and community of students, youth and community institutions on an ongoing basis. Abstract

Abstrak: Penertiban pendokumentasiann surat masuk dan surat keluar dalam organisasi Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi sangat perlu dilakukan, mengacu pada lemahnya administrasi yang dilakukan oleh pengurus HMPS yang ada di lingkungan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Memberikan Pembinaan dalam kegiatan pelatihan sangat diperlukan oleh mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan kualitas administrasi organisasi kemahasiswaan, agar menjadi acuan.  Salah satu alat untuk mengukur keberhasilan organisasi kemahasiwaan adalah ketertiban dalam administrasi organisasi. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah metode observasi, metode ceramah dan metode penugasan. Dari hasil kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan mahasiswa termotivasi dalam melakukan penertiban surat masuk dan surat keluar dalam organisasi HMPS sehingga rekam jejak kegiatan yang dilakukan dapat di data dengan sebaik mungkin. Kegiatan ini juga berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas pemahaman tentang cara mengadministrasikan surat masuk dan surat keluar terutama pada penomoran surat dan penertiban pendokumentasian surat masuk dan surat keluar.Abstract: The regulation of the documentation of incoming and outgoing letters in the organization of the Study Program Student Association is very necessary, referring to the weak administration carried out by the HMPS management within the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Providing coaching in training activities is needed by the students to improve the quality of student organization administration, so that it becomes a reference.  One of the tools for measuring the success of student organizations is order in the administration of the organization. The methods used in this training are observation methods, lecture methods and assignment methods. From the results of the training activities carried out by the students, they are motivated in ordering incoming and outgoing letters in the HMPS organization so that the track record of the activities carried out can be recorded as well as possible. This activity also has an impact on improving the quality of understanding of how to administer incoming and outgoing mail, especially in the numbering of letters and the regulation of documenting incoming and outgoing letters.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberika wawasan tentang pentingnya penggunaan hand sanitizer di masa pandemic ini, dan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan hand sanitizer sesuai standar WHO sebagai upaya Pencegahan penularan Covid-19 di kecamatan Trucuk. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu penyuluhan, pelatihan pembuatan hand sanitizer, dan penyebaran angket. Selama kegiatan ini berlangsung, peserta terlihat bersemangat mulai dari saat penyuluhan tentang keefektifan penggunaan hand sanitizer, cara penggunaan hand sanitizer, dan jenis hand sanitizer yang sesuai standart WHO. Ketika praktik pembuatan hand sanitizer juga terlihat peserta sangat antusias ditunjukkan dengan berperan aktif saat praktik secara berkelompok dalam pembuatan hand sanitizer oleh pemateri. Selain itu peserta yang terdiri dari ibu-ibu PKK dan remaja karang taruna sangat aktif Ketika diadakan sesi tanya jawab oleh pemateri. Setelah pelatihan ini akhirnya peserta dapat memahami betapa pentingnya penggunaan hand sanitizer dimasa pandemic ini, terlihat dari hasil angket yang diisi oleh peserta setelah kegiatan. Peserta pelatihan memberikan respon positif terhadap kegiatan yang dilaksanakan. Peserta pelatihan tampak antusias yang ditunjukkan dengan semua peserta ikut menyimak dan terlibat dalam praktek pembuatan hand sanitizer. Berdasarkan angket evaluasi kegiatan diperoleh hasil bahwa kegiatan ini bermanfaat bagi peserta. Peserta juga tertarik untuk mengikuti acara sejenis dengan topik yang berbeda.Abstract:  This activity aims to provide insight into the importance of using hand sanitizers during this pandemic and provide training on making hand sanitizers according to standards to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 in Trucuk sub-district. The method of implementing community service activities consists of 3 stages, namely counseling, training on making hand sanitizers, and distributing questionnaires. During this activity, the participants looked enthusiastic starting from the time of counseling about the effectiveness of using hand sanitizers, how to use hand sanitizers, and the types of hand sanitizers according to WHO standards. During the practice of making hand sanitizers, the participants were very enthusiastic, which was shown by the presenters playing an active role during group practice in making hand sanitizers. In addition, PKK women and youth group participants were very active when the presenters held a question and answer session. After this training, participants finally understood how important it is to use hand sanitizers during this pandemic, as seen from the questionnaire results that participants filled out after the activity. The training participants gave a positive response to the activities carried out. The training participants seemed enthusiastic, which was shown by all the participants listening and being involved in the practice of making hand sanitizers. Based on the activity evaluation questionnaire, it was found that this activity was beneficial for the participants. Participants are also interested in participating in similar events with different topics.
