Abstract

The rapid development of the times has caused all aspects of life to always involve technology. With the rapid development of technology, of course it has positive and negative impacts. The positive impact that can be felt is that technology increases the effectiveness and efficiency of humans at work. One example is Point of Sale technology that can help humans in buying and selling transactions from both the customer and business owner sides.This web-based POS application is a computer software designed using the RAD method to help the owner of Elemen Kopi to record transactions, record stock items such as inventory and ingredients, employee management, make sales reports automatically and in real time. The problem faced was that before the existence of this POS application, Kedai Kopi Elemen Kopi still used a manual bookkeeping system that took a long time to record and was not computerized. This causes a high error rate that may occur. The purpose of designing this application is to provide an easy-used POS application to Kedai Kopi Elemen Kopi owners in recording accounting for both buying and selling transactions, expenditure and entry of goods. With this application, it is hoped that it can help record accounting and manage employees.

Abstract

At Family Glass and Steel (FGAS) for ordering still using a manual system, namely by using books and paper, of course this will take time and also frequent errors in order recording and less efficient if it is crowded. There are also frequent out of stock because they forget the existing inventory so they are forced to refuse customer orders. So in need of a cashier system and a better stock of goods in order to improve performance. This system can run the ordering program as well as recording the stock of goods. This system is capable of recording product stock and running an ordering program. Using a website-based system, the waterfall method was used to create this system.

Abstract

The company's delivery service must maintain a record of the documents/packages sent to customers or branches. The printed travel document as proof of receipt carried by the messengers must be presented to the shipping operational administrator in order to validate the delivery status of the parcel. In addition, the delivery operational administrator monitors delivery tracing based on the delivery status. The involvement of humans in shipping and administrative procedures causes delays. By developing the DDS application, researchers improve the efficiency of shipping information administration and monitoring. This mobile application's development is supported by the Flutter Framework with a UCD methodology that enables researchers to implement stakeholder requirements. Utilizing interview techniques, formative and summative usability testing, user participation is used to evaluate the efficacy, efficiency, and satisfaction of application users. Application development generates a DDS application that enables electronic monitoring of document/package delivery. The courier updates the delivery status via an application that can be directly monitored by the operational administrator. The test results indicate that the DDS application is one hundred percent effective and efficient, with a satisfaction rating of 4.6% among delivery operational administrators and messengers.

Abstract

Kawan Pencerita Publisher is a company that provides opportunities for aspiring authors to develop and publish their works. Since its establishment in 2018, Kawan Pencerita Publisher has faced marketing challenges on an annual basis. To address these challenges, the company decided to create a website. A website is a collection of web pages that includes a domain or subdomain and other essential information, making it easier for users to access important details. The objective of this study is to design and develop a Kawan Pencerita Publisher website as a marketing tool, as the current sales are limited to the Instagram social media network. For the website development, the Prototype software development method is utilized. The system testing conducted for the website follows the Blackbox Testing approach, which aims to ensure its optimal performance. The test involved all 11 employees of KP Publisher. The results of the testing indicate that the system functionality is at 100%, meaning that all required functional aspects specified in the project and system requirements are successfully implemented.

Abstract

Drought is one of the environmental problems that will specifically cause serious problems if it occurs for a prolonged period. One way to overcome this problem is by building reservoirs or small dam as water storage facilities. In Semarang Regency, there are 8 identified locations for small dam candidates, but not all of them can be built within the 5-year budget plan. Decision support systems can be used to determine the priority of candidate small dams based on predetermined criteria, so that budget resources can be utilized optimally. VIKOR (Višekriterijumsko Kompromisno Rangiranje) is one of the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods used to solve discrete decision-making problems with conflicting criteria. The VIKOR method can be used to rank candidate small dams with multiple criteria. By implementing the VIKOR method into a decision support system, the process of determining the priority of the best small dams in Semarang Regency can be done effectively and efficiently. The information system was developed using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method with the PHP programming language and MySQL database, and the Codeigniter framework. In the decision support system, the priority ranking for the construction of small dams in Semarang Regency is displayed based on the results of the VIKOR method calculation using several criteria, including topographic factors (vegetation in inundation area, volume of material embankment, and land acquisition area), hydrological factors (live storage/effective storage volume), effectiveness factors (reservoir lifetime and water cost), and accessibility factors (access road to dam's site). The ranking result generated by the decision support system using VIKOR can be used as a reference by decision makers or organizations to improve efficiency in the process of determining the construction of small dams by providing alternative compromise solutions for the best dam options.

Abstract

The class schedule is determined during student registration, but in practice, there is a possibility of schedule failure due to various reasons, such as a lecturer having other important commitments on that schedule, national holidays, or other reasons. According to academic regulations, the number of face-to-face class meetings has been predetermined, which is 14 meetings. Therefore, if a class meeting fails to take place, it must be replaced with a substitute schedule.            Finding a substitute class schedule does not only consider the availability of the respective lecturer's schedule but also takes into account the availability of classrooms and the schedules of each student to ensure that all students can attend (not attending other courses). This way, the substitute schedule can be implemented without disrupting students' activities.            Unlike previous research, which focused on generating class schedules using search and filtering techniques, this study will display all alternative substitute schedules that can be implemented without disturbing the schedules of lecturers, students, or room usage by utilizing multiple table queries with outer join relationships.                       Finding a substitute class schedule does not only consider the availability of the respective lecturer's schedule but also takes into account the availability of classrooms and the schedules of each student to ensure that all students can attend (not attending other courses).
