Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of implementing cardiac catheterization removal in admitting patients with acute coronary syndrome at Immanuel Hospital Bandung. This type of research is quasi-experimental with nonequivalent pre- and post-test control groups only. The research results obtained by implementing cardiac catheterization removal planning in the intervention group effectively admitted patients with acute coronary syndrome at Immanuel Hospital Bandung. There was no significant difference between the control group and the intervention group in the patient's readiness to carry out the discharge plan but within a period of <30 days in the control group, there were data on three patients who were readmitted, while in the intervention group, there were no readmissions. In conclusion, planned-release cardiac catheterization is effective in patients with acute coronary syndrome. Abstract

This study aims to test how effective oral infusion of sungkai leaves is on the profile of changes in blood plasma glucose levels and regeneration of pancreatic tissue in diabetic Wistar rats. This research method is a proper experimental design with a randomized pre-post-test design with a control group. The study's results illustrate differences in mice's blood sugar levels before and after the intervention, showing a decrease in blood sugar levels in the K(+), P-1, and P-2 groups, while in the K(+), P-1, and P groups -2. The K(-) group shows a decreasing trend. Apart from that, histopathological examination of the pancreas also showed improvement in each treatment group with a decreasing percentage of pathological events. In conclusion, blood plasma glucose examination showed a significant difference, positively affecting diabetes mellitus, while the rate of pancreatic tissue injury showed a similar form. Keywords: Sungkai leaves, plasma glucose, pancreatic regeneration

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of meeting children's rest/sleep needs by implementing EdBeHos Sleep Therapy. The method used is quasi-experimental with the application of Evidence-Based Nursing Practice EdBeHos Sleep Therapy. The study's results found a significant difference in sleep quality scores between the intervention and control groups (p<0.001). In conclusion, the EdBeHos Sleep Therapy intervention can be applied to overcome sleep problems so that it can improve the quality of life of children with cancer. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Benson relaxation technique on reducing anxiety levels in pre-cataract surgery patients. The research method uses a quasi-experimental research design. The Wilcoxon test results showed a significant difference in the mean anxiety score between the pretest and posttest in the control group (z=-5.247, p=0.000). In contrast, the Wilcoxon results showed that there was a significant difference in the level of anxiety—mean anxiety value between pretest and posttest in the intervention group (z=-5.518, p=0.000). Mann Whitney U test results showed z=-2.574, p=0.01). In conclusion, there is a significant influence on anxiety scores between the control group and the intervention group. Keywords: Cataract, Preoperative Anxiety, Benson Relaxation

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the combination of nebulizer therapy and guided imagery affects respiratory frequency in patients with asthmatic status. The research design used in this study was Queasy Experimental in one intervention group. The results of the study showed that p-value = 0.02, with 0.02 < 0.05 meaning that there was an effect of the combination of nebulizer therapy and guided imagery on reducing the respiratory frequency in patients with asthmatic status in the emergency room at M. Yunus Hospital, Bengkulu City. In conclusion, a combination of nebulizer therapy and guided imagery reduces respiratory frequency in patients with asthmatic status in the emergency room at M. Yunus Hospital, Bengkulu City. Keywords: Guided Imagery, Nebulizer, Respiratory Frequency, Asthmatic Status
