Abstract

Peningkatan kasus penyakit  HIV/AIDS setiap tahunnya mengalami peningkatan dan merupakan masalah kesehatan yang harus di atasi. Masalah yang timbul setelah terdiagnosis HIV/AIDS diantaranya masalah fisik, psikososial,  stigma sosial, spiritualitas. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan masalah psikososial dan penderita mengalami stress dan depresi. Penderita HIV/AIDS yang mengalami permasalahan dapat menjauh dari agama dan menyalahi diri sendiri. Dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut salah satu pendekatan yang perlu dilakukan adalah dengan pendekatan praktik keagamaan sebagai bentuk koping religious penderita. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan praktik keagamaan Islam dengan koping religious pada kelompok penderita HIV/AIDS. Desain menggunakan deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode consecutive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 138 responden. Hasil penelitian hubungan praktik keagamaan Islam dengan koping religious dari total 138 didapatkan data praktek keagamaan baik memiliki koping religius rendah sebesar 6 responden (40%), sedangkan praktik keagamaan moderate memiliki koping religious sedang sebesar 65 responden (65%), dan praktik keagamaan kurang memiliki koping religius sedang sebesar 14 responden (60.9%).Terdapat  hubungan yang signifikan antara praktik keagaman dengan koping religius.Sebagian besar praktik keagamaan Islam moderate dan sebagian besar koping religious sedang.Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara praktik keagamaan dengan koping religious pada kelompok penderita HIV/AIDS. Kata Kunci: praktek keagamaan; koping religious; HIV/AIDS

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of sleep quality with changes in blood pressure in elderly hypertension at Tresna Werdha Social Home (PSTW) Bengkulu Province. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of an analytic survey with a cross-sectional research design. Univariate analysis results showed blood pressure in hypertensive elderly at Tresna Werdha Social Home (PSTW), which is 12 respondents (54.5%) had mild hypertension, ten respondents (45.5%) had moderate hypertension. Sleep quality experienced by elderly hypertension, 11 respondents (50%) experienced good sleep quality, and 11 other respondents (50%) experienced poor sleep quality. The results of bivariate analysis using chi-square test obtained ρ value = 0,000 and C value = 0.674. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between sleep quality and changes in blood pressure in hypertensive elderly at Tresna Werdha Social Home (PSTW) in 2019. Poor sleep quality affects changes in elderly blood pressure. Keywords: Sleep Quality, Elderly, Blood Pressure

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the experience of parents in caring for mentally disabled children. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive phenomenological approach. The results of the study obtained six themes, namely (1). The response of parents when their child is said to be RM, (2). RM child's birth weight, (3). RM's parenting pattern, (4). Parents' efforts to train RM's children's independence, (5). The form of family support for RM children, and (6). Efforts to increase the knowledge and motivation of parents about RM child care. In conclusion, the support given by parents is in the form of positive things in the form of love, respect, and attention. Sources of information and motivation for parents are obtained from the internet/google/social media; information and inspiration are also obtained from therapists and friends or parents who also have children with mental retardation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between religious practices of people living with HIV/AIDS. The design in this study is a descriptive analytic study. The results of the study from 153 respondents that most of the religious practices of Islam in the HIV/AIDS group were moderate 105 (68.6%). There is a significant relationship between religious practices in people with HIV/AIDS. Most of the religious practices are moderate and most are moderate. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the level of religious practice of people living with HIV/AIDS. Keywords: HIV/AIDS, Religious Practice

Abstract

This study aims to explore the experience of single parents in caring for children with confirmed COVID-19. This research design is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study obtained six themes, namely the signs of COVID-19 symptoms that occur in children, namely children have fever, cough, runny nose, and loss of appetite, the transmission of covid-19 occurs due to lack of implementing health protocols and traveling to crowded places, when knowing their child confirmed that covid-19 single parents experience feelings of anxiety, panic and worry, single parents, get support from family, the surrounding environment and work friends. In conclusion, in caring for their children, single parents prepare children's needs such as medicines, vitamins, healthy food, and a comfortable play environment. In dividing the time to care for children confirmed positive for COVID-19, on average, mothers ask for leave at home. Keywords: Covid-19, Phenomenology, Caring for Children, Single Parents

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of alternative nostril breathing exercises on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the Telaga Dewa Health Center work area, Bengkulu City. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design. The results of the univariate analysis obtained that the respondent's age was 64 years, all genders of the respondents were found, and most of them had a family history. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value <0.05. In conclusion, there was a decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after an alternative breathing exercise intervention in hypertension patients in the Telaga Dewa Health Center work area, Bengkulu City. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Diabetes Self Management Education (DSME) on patients' quality of life with type 2 diabetes mellitus by using a pre-experimental design one group pre and post-test with a sample of 15 respondents. The results of the study, most of the respondents, as many as eight people (53.3%) aged 56-70 years, most of them 14 people (93.3%) were women, most of them eight people (53.3%) had junior high school education, most of them were nine people (60.0%) 1-5 years had diabetes, before the DSME the lowest quality of life score was 86. The highest was 99, the average was 90.93, while after DSME, the most inferior quality of life score was 88, and the highest was 105. The average standard is 98.67. The middle grade of life after treatment has increased. The difference in the mean quality of life scores before and after using DSME with p-value = 0.000. In conclusion, there is an effect on the quality of life of type 2 DM patients before and after being given Diabetes Self Management Education (DSME) in the Work Area of ​​the Pasar Ikan Bengkulu Health Center. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of snake and ladder educational game therapy (APE) on reducing anxiety in hospitalized children. This study uses an experimental method with a one-group pre-post test design. The results showed that the average level of anxiety before playing snake and ladder therapy in treated children was 19.13 with moderate anxiety category. The rate after snake therapy in treated children was 14.20 with a mild grade. In conclusion, snake and ladder play therapy reduces anxiety levels in hospitalized children. Abstract

This study aims to find a website that strives to wash the hands seven of the early childhood school children in Aisyiyah 1 Kindergarten, Bengkulu City. The research design used a pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest. The results showed that before the intervention was given the first-star category, there were 27 people (90%). The children got the second-star sort as many as three people (10%), while the number of respondents after being given the intervention experienced an increase in ability and the third-star category was seven people ( 23.3%) and get IV stars as many as 23 people (76.7%), and the bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test obtained p-value = 0.000. In conclusion, there is a significant influence between the method of increasing the handwashing ability of seven early childhood in Aisyiyah 1 Kindergarten, Bengkulu City. Abstract

This study aimed to see the comparison of blowing bubbles and blowing bamboo blades to the respiratory frequency of children with asthma in the Edelweiss Room, DR. M. Yunus Bengkulu Year 2019. The research design used was a quasi-experimental research. The univariate analysis results showed that the average respiratory rate before and after doing super bubble blow therapy was in the moderate category (26.91) and after the intervention was in the medium type (25.30). The average respiratory frequency before and after blowing the bamboo propeller was moderate (26.69) and light (24.81). The bivariate analysis results showed that there was an effect of blowing bubbles on respiratory frequency in children with a value of p = 0.000, and there was an effect of blowing bamboo propellers on respiratory frequency in children with asthma with a value of p = 0.007. In conclusion, there is no difference in superbubbles blowing therapy's effectiveness by blowing bamboo propellers in children with asthma.
