Brain Gym can maximize learning potential and reduce stress levels. This study aims to analyze the effect of Brain Gym on the concentration of preschool children in a Early Childhood Education at Takal Health Center. Methods: This study uses a quantitative type of research in the form of a quasi-experimental. The research design used Pre and Posttest group design. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling, so 14 samples were obtained. The research instrument used the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI) observation sheet. Results: The results of statistical tests using Wilcoxon (P-value = 0.000 <0.05) means that it shows that there is an influence of Brain Gym (brain exercise) on concentration in preschool-aged children in a Early Childhood Education at Takal Health Center. Conclusion: Brain Gym can increase concentration in preschool children in a Early Childhood Education at Takal Health Center.

Abstract

Objective: to identify the relationship between blood sugar levels and peripheral neuropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitusMethods: This article is a type of analytical research with a Case Control approach. The data analysis method used in this research is the Retrospective Approach method. To see the relationship between two variables, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable that occurred first. To test the hypothesis in this study, the Chi Square statistical test was used. Results: The results of the Chi-Square statistical test obtained P-Value = 0.000 (≤ 0.05) which means that there is a relationship between blood sugar levels and peripheral neuropathy disorders in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Tiban Baru Health Center Batam City in 2021. The results of the close relationship analysis were obtained OR = 22.22 (95% CI 1.906 - 88.428) people at the Tiban Baru Health Center who suffer from type 2 diabetes who experience uncontrolled blood sugar levels have a 22.22 times possibility of experiencing peripheral neuropathy compared to type 2 DM patients who experience blood sugar levels controlledConclusion:  From the correlation test, the value of OR = 22.22% means that uncontrolled blood sugar levels contribute 22.22% to peripheral neuropathy 77.78% is influenced by other factors

Abstract

One of the efforts made to prevent anemia in pragnancy  is to use local plants in the community, namely honey. In general honey is effective for producing energy, increasing endurance, and increasing stamina. Honey also contains vitamin C, vitamin A, iron (Fe), and vitamin B12 which functions as the formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin. This study aimed to assess the difference between the intervention group Honey + Fe and the dick Fe group by measuring Hemoglobin levels, birth weight and placenta in pregnant women with anemiaMethods: This research is a quantitative study with a type of quasi experiment research. A sample of 46 people was selected by purposive sampling.Result: The results showed a significant difference in hemoglobin levels between the intervention group Honey + Fe (mean: 11.86 ± 0.94) and the Fe control group (mean: 10.16 ± 1.05) with a value of p = 0,000 (<0,05). The same was found in the measurement of Birth Weight showing a significant difference between the intervention group Honey + Fe (mean 3030 ± 495.53) and the Fe control group (mean 2521 ± 390.75), with a p value: 0,000 (<0.05 ) In contrast to the results of placental weight measurements, no significant differences were found between the intervention group Honey + Fe (mean 520 ± 43.37) and the Fe control group (mean 504 ± 47.65), with a p value: 0.250 (>0.05) .
