Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. The scopes include agribusiness, agricultural economics, agricultural development, rural sociology, agricultural extension, food security, and other subjects related to agriculture and society. This Journal is published four times a year, February, May, August, and November.

This study aims to analyze the cost structure and the income level of vegetable traders in Tamin Market Bandar Lampung City. This research is conducted in purposively chosen Tamin Market with the consideration that Tamin Market is a center of vegetable trade and the main market in Bandar Lampung City. The data were collected in March 2017 and respondents were 15 vegetable traders who are willing to be interviewed, consisting of five stall traders, five los traders, and five street traders. Data are analyzed descriptively using qualitative and quantitative of cost and income analysis. The result showed that the traders' business cost structure consists of fixed cost and variable cost. The propotion of variable cost is higher than the fixed cost, which is 99 percent of total cost. Variable costs include plastic cost, vegetable purchase, transport, labor, and information. And fixed costs include rent cost, electricity and market facility fees. The average income of stall traders is higher than the loser traders and the street traders. The average income of stall traders is Rp817,055.00 per day, los traders is Rp737,604.00 per day, and street traders is Rp183,455.00 per day.Key words: cost structure, the level of income, vegetable traders

This study aims to analyze the flow pattern of supply chain of jackfruits, supply chain performance, supply chain efficiency, and calculate the added value products of Jackfruits chip in Panda Alami Agroindustry. This study is conducted purposely in Panda Alami Agroindustry in Gedong Tataan Sub-district of Pesawaran District. The data is collected in Februari 2017, performance measurements are made by comparing measurement indicators with FoodSCOR Card indicators. Efficiency calculations are performed using a software deap 2.1, the calculation of value added is done by Hayami added value method. The result showed that the flow pattern starting from the farmers as the main raw material supplier. The performance of the supplier of Panda Alami Agroindustry was good, based on compared value of FoodSCOR card. Efficiency measurements indicated that only 37.5 percent of supply chain actors were already efficient for DMU farmers’ category, and 100 percent efficient for retail and agroindustry category. The calculation of the added value of jackfruits chips of Panda Alami Agroindustry showed positive value, it meant that agroindustry was feasible to be developed.Key words: added value, agroindustry, efficiency, farmers, jackfruits, performance

Soybean is one of vegetable protein sources. It is so important that the government targets self-sufficiency on this commodity. Its target is 3.00 million tons in 2019, i.e. more than three times of the production in 2015. A production target is better stochastically forecasted that its result is an interval at a certain probability level. There were some studies that forecasted productions of soybean. However, their results were not as the intervals. Therefore, the objective of this research is for stochastically forecasting the soybean production. Its data are time series data obtained from the FAO and the Indonesian Statistics Central Bureau. Data were analyzed by using econometrics. The result of forecasting is the soybean production will be 0.99 million tons in 2019 with the 95% confidence interval between 0.94 and 1.05 million tons.Key words: Soybean, production, forecast

The purposes of this research are to analyze perceptions of KPPH members on Tahura management in Sumber Agung Village and factors related to the perception on Tahura management. This research was conducted in Sumber Agung and respondents were 36 KPPH members of Tahura. Data were collected using a survey method and analyzed descriptively. Rank Spearman correlation test was employed to examine the hypothesis. The results showed the average score of perceptions of most (67%) KPPH members on Tahura management in Sumber Agung Village was 10.12 and categorized as bad. Factor related significantly to KPPH members’ perceptions on Tahura management was knowledge level. Meanwhile, age, education level, social interaction, and income level were not significantly related to KPPH members’ perceptions on Tahura management. This research aims to analyze the performance of mangosteen farming and certification benefits of sustainable mangosteen farming development in terms of economic, social, and environmental aspects. The location of the research is decided purposely in Terdana, Kota Agung, Tanggamus District. The samples of this research are 54 farmers whose products have been certified by prima. The performance of mangosteen farming is assessed by R / C ratio. The results showed that the performance of mangosteen farming in terms of R / C ratio per-ha was 6.91; it meant that each cash cost incurred by farmers of Rp1.00 then the farmers would receive revenue of Rp6.91 (could provide benefits on economical aspects). Prima Certification Program of mangosteen farming in Terdana, Kota Agung, Tanggamus district was quite sustainable in economic, social, and environmental aspects, in which sustainability index were 67.90; 71.02 and 72.82Key words: farm income , mangosteen, prima certification, sustainability

This research aimed to analyze the income of cocoa farming and cocoa marketing efficiency in Bulok Subdistrict of Tanggamus Regency. This research was conducted purposively in Suka Agung and Napal Village on April to May 2017. The farmer respondents were chosen randomly and the marketing agency respondents were chosen from marketing agency which was directly involved in cocoa marketing at the research area. The analysis used was quantitative descriptive method. The result showed that the income of cocoa farming of cash cost was Rp23,502,689.07 per year and the income of cocoa farming of total cost was Rp16,365,572.38 per year . The cocoa marketing system in Bulok Subdistrict of Tanggamus Regency was inefficient, because some marketing channel (50%) had producer share less than 60 percent, the value of total marketing margins was still high (36.08 %), with uneven ratio of profit margin.Key words: cocoa, farming, income, marketing

This study aims to examine the farmers' response to Legowo Row Planting System in Tumijajar Subdistrict of West Tulang Bawang Regency and factors related to farmers' responses to the Legowo Row Planting System. This research was conducted in Tumijajar subdistrict, West Tulang Bawang Regency. Data collection was conducted in May - August 2017. This research method used a survey method and using questionnaire as primary instrument of data collection. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis to answer the first goal and Rank Spearman test to answer second goal. The results showed that farmers’ response to Legowo Row Planting System was relatively low. Factors related to farmer's response to Legowo Row Planting System are farmer’s age, formal education, length of farming experience, land size, motivation, and Sistem Tanam Jajar Legowo’s innovation characteristics. This study aimed to analyze income of tiger shrimp–milkfish and marketing efficiency of milkfish in Pasir Sakti subdistrict of east Lampung Regency. The research location was choosen purposely in Pasir Sakti Subdistrict Lampung Regency. Data of this research was collected during November-January 2016. Respondents of this research were 64 cultivators and 40 traders. This research used survey method, in which samples were chosen by simple random sampling and snowball sampling. The collected data, included primary and secondary data, was analyzed by descriptive qualitative analysis, income analysis, and marketing margins. The results showed that tiger shrimp and milkfish aquaqulture were profitable. There were 2 channels of marketing of milkfish but both of them were inefficient. Marketing margin and profit margin ratio on marketing of milkfish were not prevalent.Key words: Income, marketing efficiency, milkfish

This study aims to analyze technical efficiency of onion farming and the factors that influence the technical inefficiency of onion farming. This research is conducted purposely in Ketapang Sub-district. The respondents are 49 farmers collected by sensus method. He research data is taken in September to November 2016. The technical efficiency is measured by frontier production function and estimated by Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) method with Frontier 4.1c computer program. The estimation of factor that influences the technical inefficiency is applied by linear regression model simultaneously obtained by using the frontier production function. The results showed that the average of technical efficiency of onion farming in Ketapang Sub-district was 0.93 which meant very efficient. Furthermore, the factors that significantly influenced the technical inefficiency of onion farm in Ketapang Sub-district were the farming experience and counseling frequency.Key words: frontier, onion farming, technical efficiency
