Abstract

The objectives of the research were to study (1) the effectiveness capital  strengthening aid return of PPKP, (2) the correlation between farmer motivation and the effectiveness capital strengthening  aid return of PPKP, (3) the correlation between the extension worker role  and the effectiveness capital strengthening  aid return of PPKP, (4) the correlation between farmer knowledge and the effectiveness capital strengthening  aid return of PPKP.  The research was conducted using survey method in Margorejo Village  South Metro  Sub District Metro District and Bangun Rejo Village Gunung Sugih Sub District Central Lampung District. The research samples were 58 farmers from Margorejo Village and 68 farmers from Bangun Rejo Village.  They  were proportionately randomly selected with 10% precision from the population. The data collected were analyzed descriptively and statistically using Rank Spearman correlation.  The study showed that: (1)  farmers were effective returning aid of PPKP, (2)  there was correlation between farmer motivation and the effectiveness of repayment of PPKP in Metro District, but not in Central Lampung District, (3) there was no correlation between the role of extension worker role and the effectiveness of repayment of PPKP in both Metro and Central Lampung Districts, (4) there was correlation between farmer knowledge and the effectiveness repayment of PPKP in both Metro and Central Lampung Districts.

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to study (1) The perception of Javanese and Bugis women worken mangrove nursery (2) The role of javanese and Bugis women worker in mangrove nursery (3) Factors related to the role of javanese and Bugis women worker in mangrove nursery.  The research was conducted using servey method in Sidodadi village, Padang Cermin Sub Distric Central, South Lampung District.  The samples were 38 people which is 13 people of Bugis women worker and 25people Javanese women worker.  The data collected were analyzed descriptively and statistically using Rank Spearman Correlation.  The study showed that : (1) There is the same perception of Javanese and Bugis women worker in mangrove nursery.   (2) The role for  Bugis women  is 14,88 HKP and 17,72 HKP for Javanese women.  (3)  There were correlation between age,  household task, members family with the role of Javanese and Bugis women worked in mangrove nursery. There were no correlation between total income, education, distane and amount of under five years kid with the role of Javanese and Bugis women worked in mangrove nursery.

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to study (1) The perception of youth generation on the agriculture and non agriculture job (2) The contribution of youth generation income taken from agriculture job  and non agriculture  on the household income (3) The factors related to the youth perception in agriculture and non agriculture job. The research was conducted using survey metod in Tanjung Bintang Sub District central, South Lampung District.  The samples were 140 peoples.  They were proportionately randomly selected with 10% precision from 417 peoples population.  The data collected were analyzed descriptively and statistically using Rank Spearman correlation.  The study showed that (1)  The perception of youth generation in agriculture job are not good enough in economically, phisicaly and prestige.  The perception of youth generation in non agriculture job are economically and prestige good  but phisicaly not good enough.  (2) Contribution of youth generation income  taken from non agriculture job biger than agriculture job.  (3) There was correlation between socialization and  the youth perception in non agriculture job.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to determine the satisfaction, and loyalty of consumers to Raja Sereh Banana and Cavendish Banana products in Bandar Lampung City. The research is conducted in June to July 2018. The samples are consumers of Raja Sereh Banana and Cavendish Banana that are recruited byaccidental sampling. The number of consumer respondents are 80 people, divided by 40 respondent of Raja Sereh Banana and 40 respondent of Cavendish Banana. This research is conducted in two different locations, namely traditional market (Pasir Gintung Market) and modern market (Gelael Supermarket). The research data is analyzed by descriptive analysis, namely Consumer Satisfaction Index Analysis (CSI) and Loyalty Pyramid. The results of this research showed that Raja Sereh Banana and Cavendish Banana consumers were ?satisfied? and ?loyal?. Consumer satisfaction of Raja Sereh Banana was 74.66 percent and the consumer satisfaction of Cavendish Banana consumer was 71.09 percent. The level of consumer loyalty was classified as a buyer who was committed with a value of 85.00 percent for Raja Sereh Banana and 90.00 percent for Cavendish Banana.Keywords:bananas, consumer, loyalty, satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions of P3A member farmers on irrigation management of rice farming and to analyze the factors related to the perception of the farmers on irrigation management of rice farming. This research was carried out in Margodadi Village South Metro Subdistrict Metro Regency with 65 respondents from P3A members participating in P3A activities. Data were collected through a survey method and analyzed descriptively and using nonparametric statistical tests of Spearman Rank Correlation. The results of this study indicated that the perceptions of P3A member farmers on irrigation management of rice farming is in the medium category. Factors related to the perceptions of P3A member farmers on irrigation management of rice farming are formal education, motivation, needs, rice farming experience, knowledge, social environment, support of related agencies, and land size. Meanwhile, unrelated factors are age and number of dependents.Key words: field irrigation management, perceptions, P3A

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan, persepsi petani dan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan persepsi petani terhadap Program Upsus Pajale. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Natar Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 51 orang petani responden yang dipilih secara acak. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, tabulasi, dan Korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program Upsus Pajale belum berhasil. Sebagian besar petani belum menerapkan tahapan-tahapan dari Program Upsus Pajale, petani jarang mengikuti rapat terkait pelaksanaan program, serta produktivitas padi mengalami penurunan dari tahun 2018 sebesar 2,42 ton/ha/musim tanam dan produktivitas jagung mengalami penurunan dari tahun 2018 sebesar 2,30 ton/ha/musim tanam. Persepsi petani tentang Program Upsus Pajale sangat baik, karena penyuluh pertanian lapangan maupun ketua kelompok tani cukup sering memberi informasi tentang Program Upsus Pajale. Petani cukup tahu mengenai tujuan, ruang lingkup, dan sistem pendanaan pada Program Upsus Pajale. Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan persepsi petani dalam Program Upsus Pajale adalah pengalaman berusahatani, motivasi, dan tingkat pengetahuan.
