Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. The scopes include agribusiness, agricultural economics, agricultural development, rural sociology, agricultural extension, food security, and other subjects related to agriculture and society. Abstract

The research aims to assess:  the comparative productivity and income of cabbage on dried land and rainfed field, the level of risk of cabbage farming on dried land and rainfed field,  the behavior of farmers against the risk of cabbage faming on dried land and rainfed field, and  the impact of incomes, risks and the other factors on the behavior of farmers against the risk of cabbage farming on dried land and rainfed field. This research was conducted in two villages, namely Campang Village and Gisting Atas Village of Gisting Sub district of Tanggamus Regency. The first goal was analyzed using different test of productivity and income. The second goal was analyzed by different test of coefficient variation. The third goal using Bernoulli and Neumann Morgenstern Techniques, and the fourth goal was analyzed by binary logit regression. The finding showed that productivity and income of cabbage farm in rainfed field was greater than productivity and income on dried land. Risk of cabbage on dried land farming was greater than rainfed field,  93.18 percent of farmers in dried land were neutral in their behavior and 6.82 percent of farmers were not brave enough to take risks; whereas the farmers in the rainfed field were 41.94 percent  neutral and 58.06 percent of farmers were reluctant to take risk. Moreover, there was no farmers behave dare to risk on dried land and in the rainfed field).  The factors that influence farmers' behavior towards risk of cabbage farming on dried land and rainfed field were farm income, land area, age of the farmer, the number of dependents, and the type of land. Abstract

The research aims to analyze: financial feasibility and sensitivity of salak pondoh farming.  This research was conducted at Wonoharjo, Sumberejo, Tanggamus. The data was collected in Januari 2016.  The samples  were 44 Salak farmers who were selected by using  simple random sampling method.  The analysis methods of this research were financial feasibility analysis and sensitivity analysis.  The results showed that based of Net B/C, Gross B/C, Payback Periode (PP), NPV, IRR, and sensitivity, salak pondoh farming was profitable financially and feasibly to be developed.  The Net B/C and Gross B/C values were bigger than 1, the value of NPV was bigger than 0, and IRR value of salak pondoh farming was greater than 12 percent (the used interest rate).  The PP analysis for salak pondoh farming system showed that the initial cash out flow of investment could be recovered in  less than 25 years.  Based on the changes of sensitivity analysis, the increase of production cost was 5.90%, but the decreaes of production price and production quantity were 10 percent and 30 percent.  The result of sensitivity analysis showed that salak pondoh farming was sensitive to changes, but wat still profitable and feasible to be continued.Key words : feasibility, financial, salak pondoh, Tanggamus Regency

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the cost of production, the proportion of the added value, and identification of agroindustry development prospects of marning if cultivated more. This study was conducted on purpose in the village of Karang Anyar Gedong Tataan Subdistrict of Pesawaran Regency. This study uses census method in determining the sample, methods of data analysis using variable costing method, a full costing method, the method hayami, and identification of internal factors and external factors. Respondents totaled 27 marning processors. The results showed that the cost of production agroindustry marning with variable costing method is Rp9.634,76 and the method of full costing Rp9.809,55. The cost of production is amount of cost that used in producing perkilogram of marning. The added value of the agroindustry of marning was Rp3,715.88 per kilogram. Percentage of labor remuneration to the added value was equal to 53.15 percent and the percentage of owners of agroindustry profits amounted to 46.85 percent of the value added. Marning agroindustry has good prospects when views from the identification of the availability of raw materials, labor availability, supply of marning, competitors, regional product marketing, public support, and the support of government. Abstract

This research purposes to analyze comparison on the level of certified and non-certified coffee farmer’s farm income, comparison on the level of certified and non-certified coffee farmer’s participation in farmer group activities and assuming acceptance of indirect benefits obtained by coffee farmers in the process of farming.  The study was conducted in Tekad and Tanjung Rejo Villages, Pulau Panggung Sub Districts of Tanggamus Regency.  Total respondents were 70 coffee farmers, consisting of 35 certified coffee farmers and 35 non-certified coffee farmers.  The samples were selected by simple random sampling method.  Research data were collected in September to November 2014 and analyzed by qualitative and quantitative analysis.  The research results showed that the certified coffee farmer's income was higher than the non-certified coffee farmers.  Similarly, the research result about level of participation in the activities of farmers showed certified coffee farmer’s level of participation in the activities of farmer group was higher than non-certified coffee farmers; in addition, assuming acceptance of indirect benefits that can be accepted by coffee farmers was Rp4,191,080.00 per hectare. Abstract

The purposes of this research are to analyze the income of cocoa farming, the income of cocoa farmer households, the poverty level of cocoa farmer households, the factors affecting the poverty rate of cocoa farmer households.  This research was conducted in Sungai Langka Village, Gedong Tataan Subdistrict Pesawaran Regency.  Respondents were 51 cocoa farmers taken using stratified random sampling method based on land area.  The analytical methods used were farm income analysis, household income analysis, household poverty level analysis, logistic analysis of farming household poverty level.  The results showed that cash income of cocoa farming is Rp8,027,576.78 per ha per year and revenue at total cost Rp Rp4,335,373.38 per ha per year. The household income of cocoa farmers is Rp21,277,833.33 per year.  Based on the World Bank indicator, the number of nonpoor farmers is 52.94 percent and poor farmers is 47.05 percent.  And based on indicator BPS (2016) there are no poor farmers in food poverty, whereas the number of poor farmers in nonfood poverty is 31.37 percent and nonpoor farmers of 68.63 percent. The common poverty line is 21.57 percent of poor farmers and 78.43 percent of non-poor farmers.  The percentage of the poor is 0.21, the poverty intencity index is 0.042, the poverty severity index is 0.00034.  Factors that affect the poverty level is household income.Key words: cocoa, farming income, household income, poverty rate

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze cassava farming income received by members, the cooperative economic benefits received by members, revenue structure of farm household of KSP Tani Makmur members, and the level of welfare of members of KSP Tani Makmur.  This research was conducted in KSP Tani Makmur, Natar Sub-district South Lampung District, in which total members were 32 cassava farmers.  The data analysis was analysis of income, cooperative economic benefit analysis, analysis of household income, and analysis of the level of well-being according to BPS 2007. The result showed that the income of cassava farmers was on high level category with the highest contribution from cassava on farming.  Based on average income per capita, the income of farmers was already above the poverty line.  The economic advantages of indirect cooperative which was received by members still relatively low.  While the direct economic advantage in form of fertilizers loans becoming an active member motivation in cooperative. The revenue structure of cassava farmer obtained from various sources.  Those were cassava, yard, livestock, farm workers, trader, head of villagers, and cooperative. The level of farmers’ welfare based on BPS method in 2007, we got the result that all the farmer members fit into the category of being wellfare. Key words: cooperation, household, income, welfare
