Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. The scopes include agribusiness, agricultural economics, agricultural development, rural sociology, agricultural extension, food security, and other subjects related to agriculture and society. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the household income’s structure and distribution, and the household welfare level among cooperatives members, in addition to analyze factors that affected the household welfare of cooperative members. This research employed case study method.  The data was collected from September to October 2016.  The research respondents were 55 people who were all members of KSUP MDIT.  The data was consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by observation and interview; while secondary data was obtained  from the agencies and literatures associated with the study.  The data was analyzed by income analysis, income distribution analysis, welfare analysis and binnary logistic regression analysis. The result showed that the biggest member of cooperative member's household income structure in the latest year was non livestock earnings of On Farm followed by non farm income, goat business income and off farm income.  Distribution of household member income of cooperatives were in low inequality. Based on Socio Metrix indicator, 70.91% cooperative members’ households were included in prosperous category and the remaining 29.09% were not prosperous and old variables of education, length of membership, and household income have a positive effect on welfare level.Key words: distribution income, prosperity of members, income

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to analyze factors affecting purchasing decision process and attitudes on evaluation of various brands of instant coffee powder.  The research samples were 99 students, selected from four faculties of the University of Lampung, who were met at the break time and agreed to be interviewed using questionnaires.  Data were analyzed using principal component analysis and Fishbeinmulti-atribute attitude analysis.  The results of this research showed that Torabika is the instant coffee powder brand was the most widely purchased, followed by Luwak White Koffie, Nescafe, Good Day, Kapal Api, ABC, and Indocafe. The results of factor analysis showed that the fourteen expected variables influenced the purchasing decision of instant coffee powder could be reduced into four main components.  The first principal component (internal factors) consists of aroma, flavor, consistency, and creamer.  The second principal components (external factors) consist of brand, advertising, pricing, and bonuses.  The third principal component (benefit factors) consists of reducing drowsiness and suitability of drinking with other food variables.  The fourth principal component (factors of excellence) consists of a non-pulpy, easily obtained.  Based on the evaluation of the consumer attitude variables, it showed that although the consumption of ABC brand was the least but it got the highest attitude value compared to other brands. If the attitudes of the students were sorted, ratings of the highest student attitudes were ABC, Nescafe, followed by Luwak White Koffie, Torabika, and Good Day.Key words: factor analysis, principal component analysis, analysis of Fishbein attitude, instant coffee

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the farmers’ perception level on performance of extension workers in organic paddy development, the factors related to farmers’ perception on the performance, and the difference of perceptions between organic paddy farmers’ and nonorganic paddy farmers’ in performance of extension workers in organic paddy development in Pagelaran Subdistrict, Pringsewu district.  This research was conducted in Pagelaran Village and Gemah Ripah Village in Pagelaran subdistrict, Pringsewu District.  Respondents were 48 farmers’ consisting of all 24 organic paddy farmers’s and 24 nonorganic paddy farmers’ which taken randomly.  Data were analyzed using Rank Spearman and Mann Whitney. Result showed that farmers’ perception on extension workers performance in organic paddy development was included in medium classification. Factors with real related to farmers’ perception toward performance of extension in organic paddy development were their age, knowledge, duration as a farmer and social interactions. There was no difference between organic paddy farmers’perception and nonorganic paddy farmers’ perception toward performance of extension in organic paddy development.  Both organic paddy farmers’ and nonorganic paddy farmers’ gave a good enough valuation towards performance of extension in organic paddy development. Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the performance level of food crops agriculturalextension workerand the factors that related to the performance level of food crops agricultural extension worker.  This research was conducted in Gadingrejo Subdistrict Pringsewu District.  Respondents of this research were 109 peoples that consist of 10 food crops agriculturalextension worker which is choosen by purposive sampling, and 99 farmers under construction of food crops agriculturalextensionworker which is choosen bysimple random sampling.  The performance level of agricultural extension worker in this research will be analyzed descriptively.  Hypothesis was analyzed by rank spearman correlation.  The result of this research showed that the performance level of agricultural extension worker in BP3K Gadingrejo Subdistrict included in low classification.  The internal factors like the motivation level, the income level, and the education level did not have real relationto the performance level of agriculturalextension worker in BP3K Gadingrejo Subdistrict.  The external factors like the farmers numbers under construction and the distance between their houses did not have significant relation, while other external factor was a reward system that have significant relation to the performance level of agricultural extension worker in BP3K Gadingrejo Subdistrict.Key words: agricultural extention, internal-eksternal factors, performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) analyze the cooperative’s economic advantage for members, (2) analyze the cooperative’s non economic advantage for members. This research was taken at ISM Mitra Karya Bahari Cooperative in Kota Karang East Teluk Betung Bandar Lampung city which has been chosen purposively. Data of this research was collected on February 2015 – March 2015 using survey method. Total respondents were 50 members of cooperative, consist of fish processor, product derived processor, fishermen and labor. Respondents were taken by simple random sampling method. Data was analyzed descriptively by Importance-Performance Analysis. Result of this research showed that: (1) the economic advantage was received by members in the form of cash, which were net income and economic advantage calculated by the service cost of selling and purchasing. Total average economic advantage of cooperative’s members were product derived processor (Rp400.490,00), fish processor (Rp267.236,84), fishermen (Rp193.668,75) and labors (Rp150.500,00). (2) The non economic advantage which was satisfaction need to be improved. Satisfaction level of the members on RAT service and unit business utilization was on high category (satisfied), but satisfaction level of payment of compulsory savings was on low category (less satisfied). Abstract

This research aims  to analyze: the management of the broiler chicken poultry production of independent supervision, semi-independent and partnership, the cost of goods broiler production independent supervision, semi-independent and partnership in Purwoasri Village North Metro District Metro City and in Kedaton 2 Village Batang Hari Nuban District regency of East Lampung. This research was conducted in October until November 2013. Primary and secondary data were collected in this reserch. The amount of research respondents were three people, who were an independent poultry, semi-independent and partnership. The methods of data analysis used in this research was descriptive, qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that (1) the management of the broiler chicken production with the supervision of partnership was the best with scores 132 higher than the semi-independent and independent supervision. Some of excellence management production partnership supervision were the application of the cleaning system equipment enclosure, transportation of DOC, admission of DOC process to the cage, preservation of the cage, giving the woof and handling of harvest item (2) the highest cost of goods production per kilogram of broiler chicken was the poultry with partnership supervision Rp13,531.00/kg, whereas the poultry with independent supervision was Rp13,496.36 and the poultry with semi-independent supervision was Rp13,109.67/kg. Abstract

The aims of this research were to know the productivity of labors of palm fruit reaper and its influencing factors in PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Unit Rejosari Palm Plantation.  This research was conducted at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Unit Rejosari Palm Plantation, Natar Subdistrict, South Lampung Regency. The data was collected from April – May 2015 by survey method. The total respondents for this research were 54 people which were chosen by systematic random sampling method.  Analysis method used in this research was quantitative descriptive and multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this research showed that the productivity of labors of palm fruit reaper at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Unit Rejosari Palm Plantation in 2015 was 732.68 kg per day or about 106.71 percent from the target, this was included as insufficient category. The influencing factors on the productivity of labors of palm fruit reaper at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Unit Rejosari Palm Plantation were salary and incentive, nutrition and health, education and training; whereas, motivation, age and years of service did not signicantly affect it.
