PMTCT program in the Province of Yogyakarta has started from 2006, and some existing hospitals such as Dr. Sardjito General Hospital routinely reported on the program in 2006-2009. Dr. Sardjito General Hospital is a referral hospital for some hospitals in Yogyakarta to receive people with HIV / AIDS, especially pregnant women which are HIV positive. Objective: To find out the overview of the mother's psychosocial support in the implementation of the Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT) of HIV in Dr.Sardjito General Hospital, Yogyakarta. Methods: This was a qualitative study with a case study design. The research was conductedin Dr. Sardjito General Hospital, Yogyakarta. Data collection was done with in-depthinterviews on maternal psychosocial support in the implementation of the Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT) of HIV. The impact of psychosocial support for mothers was that the life became more meaningful and had more spirit, but in society the impact was not yet seen because the mothers were a fraid to be isolated in the activity of the society environment. Conclusion:. The mothers in the implementation of the Prevention of Mother-to-ChildTransmission (PMTCT) of HIV in Dr. Sardjito General Hospital, Yogyakarta, received full support from the family but they had not been able to reveal their current condition to the public because of the fear that the public would not accept them leading to a feeling to be isolated and exiled. The officers had given their best services from the early time when the mother knew to be infected by HIV and tried to eradicate stigma from other health providers. If anxiety is allowed to continue, it will give negative impacts on teens, such as adecision to commit promiscuity. Therefore, there are needs for therapies that can reduce the anxiety ofstudents in facing exam, one of which is Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFTs). Objective: To determine the effect of EFT on anxiety in the face of UAN at high school students. Methods:The research method was quasi experimental with pretest-posttest design. Prior to therapy, anxiety screening was performed on 137 students using a questionnaire of Pasco-Hernando CommunityCollege (PHCC) Anxiety Test. After that, 28 were taken students as the sample divided into 2 groups (control and intervention), each 14 students. The intervention group received 3 times of EFT therapysessions. Analysis of data was to determine the effect by using a paired t-test and to know thecomparison used independent t-test, with a of 0.05. Results:The initial screening results were as follows: mild to moderate anxiety (58, 4%) and moderate tosevere anxiety (0.7%). Test results of paired t-test showed p = 0, 046 (p <0, 05). In addition, based onindependent t-test, p was 0.000 (p <0.05); thus, the mean value of anxiety of the intervention group wassignificantly lower than that of the control group. Conclusion: EFT effectively reduced student anxiety in facing UAN in SMA N 1 Pakem, Sleman,Yogyakarta. It is suggested EFT can be used as a non-pharmacological psychological therapy. Exclusive breastfeeding appropriate to the needs of babies is recommended considering the benefits of breastfeeding for the next phase of life. Optimal breastfeeding management will affect the adequacy of breast milk intake in babies. Volume of milk produced by lactating mothers is closely related to the earlytime of breastfeeding. One factor likely to lead to inadequate intake of milk is unimplemented practice of early initiation of breastfeeding at the first hour after birth. Objective: To determine the implementation of early initiation of breastfeeding (EIB), to determine the adequate in take of milk to the newborn, to determine the relationship of EIB implementation to adequate in take of milk and to determine the effect of IEB implementation on the adequacy of breast milk intake in new borns. Methods: This was an observational study with a prospective cohort design using quantitative approach. The number of samples was 92 pairs of mother-baby determined by purposive sampling. Data were collected by observation using monitoring sheets. Statistical tests used were Chi-square (x²) at the significance level of p <0.05, to see the magnitude of the risk of the effect (outcome) seen in the RR with the confidence interval (CI) 95%. Results: The majority of babies was initiated early breastfeeding and received a good adequacy of breastmilk. There was a significant association between early initiation of breastfeeding (EIB) and adequate in take of breastmilk (p = 0.001) and EIB in creased the chances to the baby to get adequate intake of milk (RR = 2.0). Conclusion: Babies who received early initiation of breastfeeding had a better chance to get adequate intake of milk than those who did not receive early initiation of breastfeeding.
