Abstract

The construction of modern vessels is already different from traditional ships, modern vessels are usually constructed by block methods where the ship is constructed from the pieces and starts from the centre piece. The construction with this method was used on the police patrol ship 63m . The process of unification of the block was done after the block was finished through the assembly process and also passed several parameters, the parameters that must be achieved and implemented before the process of the joint erection is the identification of the material, scantling Check, welding check, dimension check, readiness of the crane, building berth, number of boat blocks, and Indetification Risk. In the implementation of the block construction unification process using the help of the crane and the Trailer to move the blocks from the jig table to the building birth. The selection of the crane itself is based on the block load, being for the number of eye plates when the joint erection depends on the number and capacity of the crane used. And in this case the load of each eye plate is 35.26 kN and maximum stress 376,30 Mpa  in block B05 and then 23, 51 kN in and maximum stress  313,30 Mpa in  block B07. After the joint erection is still needed to be checked, the things to be checked are dimensional check, plate and member flatness, member straightness, Visual weld inspection, and non-destructive test according to WPS.

Abstract

Perencanaan Jembatan Mlulon dimaksudkan sebagai pengganti jembatan lama. Struktur yang dipilih adalah box culvert, menyesuaikan bentang dan tinggi jembatan. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk merencanakan ulang Jembatan Mlulon agar dapat memberikan pelayanan bagi pengguna lalu lintas dengan aman dan nyaman. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh dimensi box culvert dengan tinggi 3 meter, panjang 6 meter, dan lebar 5 meter. Berdasarkan perhitungan perencanaan penulangan, digunakan tulangan D 19 – 125.

Abstract

Along with technological development in the industrial revolution era 4.0, especially in construction sector needs to be innovated to improve the quality of infrastructure facilities. Innovations will be made on concrete as one of the components that most used in construction. The effort that will be done is to add additional material in the concrete mixture. The waste of corn cobs and Zalacca seeds need to be handled because it will cause environmental pollution. By changing corncobs and zalacca seeds into a concrete mixture. Corncobs contain 41% cellulose, 36% hemicellulose and 16% lignin (Huda, 2007). The cellulose content in corn cobs can provide compressive strength of 23 MPa and tensile strength of 2,42 MPa. This is influenced by lignin and hemicellulose in the womb. While zalacca seeds material are lightweight and strong so that zalacca seeds can be used as a reduction of cement. Innovations were made with the aim of utilizing corncobs as cement filler with a content of 10% and the utilization of zallaca seeds was waste for the utilization of cement with a content of 2,5% and 4%. So it can produce concrete with high compressive strength and tensile strength that is environmentally friendly.

Abstract

Cinere-Jagorawi Toll Road is a part of Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) II which has the total length of 110 kilometer that circle around Seokarta-Hatta International Airport until Tanjung Priok. By the existance of JORR II, there would be an easy access from seaport to airport and vice versa. This also would be streamlining traffic flow from west to east considering the traffic at JORR I has overused which could cause congestion.  In every construction of the Toll Road, there would be some risks that possibly arise.  To minimize the risks that could occur, identification, anlysis, mitigation and allocation towards the possible risks – especially the risks which are classified in dominant category - are essential. This is expected to be a basis of decision making by stakeolders to resolve negative consequences that happen during the construction of Toll Road. In this research, the researcher uses qualititive descriptive research with survey method using questionnaire as a research instrument. According to the result of questionnaire, there were 45 risks identified in this research. After acquiring the result from questionnaire, the next step were determining validity and reliability, and analysing the acceptance of the risks to identify which risks are classified as domminant risks factor. There were 8 (18%) risks classified as Unacceptable Category and 37 (82%) risks classified as Undesireble Category.  The next step was mitigating the risks included in domminant risk factors. Based on risk mitigation, ownership risk management should be carried out by the stakeholeders involved in Toll Road construction.

Abstract

Geographically, Indonesia is a tropical country that has an average temperature characteristic of 35 ° C. Climatic conditions often make people feel uneasy because the hot air is felt even inside room so the use of air conditioner is very influential in creating a sense of comfort in the room, especially for work activities. However, the use of air conditioners is considered less friendly to the environment, because freon gas released into the air make thin the layers of earth's atmosphere. In addition to being less friendly to the environment, air conditioners are also less affordable for the community, even in offices with ample space, only one piece is installed which makes it less pronounced. The concept of Hywall Controling System is a technological concept is applied to partition walls with the main ingredient is Hydrogell. Hydrophilic gels or hydrogels are artificial polymers that have a degree of flexibility that is very similar to natural tissue and can absorb and release water 100-200 times its size and contain 90% water content. The hydrogell will be combined with the partition wall in the office room with running water using remote control technology so that the hydrogell will release water vapor which suppresses the condition of the hot air in the room and reduces the use of air conditioner.

Abstract

The ability of workers in construction supply chain section has not been strongly standardized as to their role and performance, especially in Indonesian project. The purpose of the research is to conduct a preliminary study of workforce capability standards in construction supply chain management. The initial standard was adopted from Supply Chain Operations References (SCOR) 12.0. The results showed that the ability element was the highest priority with 50%. Whereas the most standard worker needs to be mastered is to schedule product shipments with 18% and the lowest value is to do exception management in construction with 1%. Research recommendations are that workers need to attend every training on construction supply chain workers' standards in order to have complete capabilities.

Abstract

Soil characteristics around Kendari City are included in the clay soil category. So far, clay has not been used optimally. Clay is only used as pile material in buildings. Land around the city of Kendari can be made of brick interlock material. This research is important to be carried out to utilize the surrounding land as building wall material, to obtain an economical and effective wall material.This study aimed to test the quality of interlock brick material from the surrounding soil in Kendari City. In this study three treatments were made. Each treatment made 10 test specimens. Test specimens are made with a size of 25 cm x 12.5 cm x 10 cm. The steps of conducting research are the preparation of work tools, preparation of work materials, dry stirring process, moist stirring process, printing, drying, watering, testing, and data analysis. Data collection techniques carried out in the laboratory. Testing includes compressive strength and water absorption. Based on the results of tests in the laboratory that interlock block material from surrounding soil is suitable for use as building wall material in a simple house on condition that the quality of the concrete frame structure is improved.

Abstract

Kuala Tungkal has a stormwater runoff, namely the Pengabuan River which is the primary river flow. Pengabuan River is located in the Tungkal Watershed, Jambi Province. Flood problems occur due to high tide flow (tidal flood) and high rainfall. So, flood prevention planning needs to be done. Drainage planning efforts are expected to reduce the flood discharge from the overflow of the Pengabuan River. The purpose of this research is to identify the occurrence of floods in the Pengabuan River with Q100. This research uses secondary data, from daily rainfall for 10 years (2010-2019) from 3 rain stations (Japura, Muaro Jambi, and Meteorologi Dabo), Tungkal watershed map, as well as transverse and longitudinal images Pengabuan River. Step of calculation starts from the selection of daily rainfall data, the average rainfall with Polygon Thiessen method, frequency analysis, Chi-Square test, Smirnov Kolmogorov test, and planned flood discharge analysis by the HSS Nakayasu method. The discharge plan is used to analyze flood with the HEC-RAS program. The results showed that the planned flood discharge during 100 years was 12432.19 m3/s. the results of analysis of the existing HEC-RAS on the river cross section is overflow or flooding, it is necessary to re-dimension it.
