Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work-family conflict on service performance and organizational commitment through fatigue on the staff of Teaching Staff in the Academic Department of Jember University. This research was conducted at the University of Jember with a population of 167 employees of Education Personnel in the Academic section and a number of students from each faculty. The sampling techniques used are purposive sampling for the employee and accidental sampling for the student respondents. So the sample collected were 82 employees and 82 students. Analytical techniques using Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Result of this research: (1) there is no influence between work-family conflict on service performance and organizational commitment directly; (2) but there is an influence between work-family conflict on performance and organizational commitment indirectly through fatigue. So it can be concluded that fatigue is a perfect mediation variable.Keywords: Work-family Conflict, Fatigue, Service Performance, and Organizational Commitment

Abstract

Abstract : Nurse of dr. Soebandi Hospital as duty bearers geared towards improving the quality of human resources, and the result will have an impact on job performance. Job performance a good nurses is a desirable thing in every hospital, due to the good performance, the hospital will achieve the goals effectively and efficiently. The determining factor to improve achievement nurses is satisfaction of work and motivation. In this research, the population was all the nurse civil servants in dr. Soebandi Hospital Jember, some 194 people from each strata is taken proportionately sample size with the total sample who was elected 131 nurses with a leeway 5 % using Slovin opinion. The sample collection in this study was conducted using stratified random sampling. To test the instruments used in extracting the data in this research, it is necessary to test the validity and reliability of the instrument with the methods of analysis data normality test, and path analysis. The results of the analysis are: (1) motivation has direct and significant impact on job satisfaction of nurses at dr. Soebandi Hospital, Jember; (2) the career development has direct and significant impact on job satisfaction of nurses at dr. Soebandi Hospital, Jember; (3) motivation has direct and significant impact on the nurses performance at dr. Soebandi Hospital, Jember; (4) the career development has direct and significant impact on the nurses performance at dr. Soebandi Hospital, Jember; (5) The job satisfaction has direct and significant impact on the nurses performance at hospital dr. Abstract: This research aims to know and analyze the effect of work environment, organizational culture to organization commitment increase performance of library employees at UPT Jember University. This research is using kind of explanatory research with kuantitative aapproach by sampel is performance of library employees at UPT Jember University as much forty tree (43) sampel. Primary fact is using kuesioner result obtainable from performance of library employees at UPT Jember University. Analyse tools which use in this research is correlation analyse by software SPSS 18. To analyse the causal relation between the variable and to verify reseach of simultan wilful so, analyse tools which using is assumsiont classic test. The result known that the work environment and organizational culture through organization commitment take effect performance of library employees At UPT Jember University by significant whre direct or indirect to performance of library employees at UPT Jember University. Abstract

Abstract: Generally the purpose of this study was to determine the influence of viral marketing, celebrity endorser and brand image against consumer buying decisions in Distro RMBL. The population in this research was the whole followers of Distro RMBL’s instagram account and the total sample of this research was 110 respondents. The independent variables were viral marketing, celebrity endorser and brand image whereas the dependent variable in this research was consumer buying decisions and this research measured by using multiple linear regression analysis. This research’s result indicated that viral marketing, celebrity endorser and brand image influent positively and significantly to consumer buying decisions simultantly. Partially, viral marketing influent consumer buying decisions positively and significantly, celebrity endorser influent consumer buying decisions positively and significantly and also brand image influent consumer buying decisions positively and significantly.Keywords: Viral Marketing, Celebrity Endorser and Brand Image

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study among others, to analyze the effect of the work-family conflict, social support and emotional intelegence on work stress and job performance among female nurses in RSD dr. Soebandi Jember. This study was a research explanation. The study population was 237 female nurses of RSD dr. Soebandi Jember. Sample was 120 people. Methods of data analysis used SEM. The result show that work-family conflict significantly influence work stress. Work-family conflict significantly influence job performance. Social support significantly influence work stress. Social support significantly influence job performance. Emotional intelegence significantly influence work stress. Emotional intelegence significantly influence job performance. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study were to determine the effect of intellectual and spiritual intelligence on the performance through motivation and job satisfaction at Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Jember. This study included explanatory research with quantitative method. The population in this study were all employees of the KPP Pratama Jember number 102 employeesThe variables of this research were the intellectual, spiritual intelligence, motivation, job satisfaction and performance. The results showed that the Intelligence intellectual had significant effect employee motivation KPP Pratama Jember. Intelligence spiritual had significant effect employee motivation KPP Pratama Jember. Intellectual had no significant effect on employee job satisfaction of employees KPP Pratama Jember. Intelligence spiritual had significant effect on employee satisfaction KPP Pratama Jember. Intellectual acumen has no significant effect on employee performance KPP Pratama Jember. Intelligence spiritual had significant effect employee performance KPP Jember. Motivation effect on employee satisfaction KPP Pratama Jember. Abstract

Abstract: Employee contribution becomes important when it is done with effective action and right behavior. Not only the amount of effort but also the direction of the business. The nature, effort or willingness to work as well as the various things that constitute organizational support is very important for the success of employee performance. In this study, the author tries to analyze the problems faced by the administrative staff of Jember University (UNEJ). Empirical tests were conducted on 115 administrative employees to obtain data on organizational culture and leadership style that has been enough to give hope to the administrative staff. Analyzer used in this research is Structural Equation Model (SEM). From the results of model testing, it can be concluded that organizational culture and leadership style have a positive effect on job satisfaction, leadership style positively affect the organizational culture. Organizational culture, leadership style, and job satisfaction have a positive effect on employee performance. To improve the performance of administrative employees, especially the dimensions of cost control and self-reliance initiatives, it requires a bureaucratic leadership style and autocratic leadership style in an open and process-oriented organizational culture system as an effort to improve employee job satisfaction.Keywords: Organizational Culture, Leadership Style, Job Satisfaction, and Employee Performance

Abstract

Abstract: Education is an important part of the national development process that will determine the progress of a country. Education is also an investment in the construction and development of human resources, with the improvement in skills and capabilities that believed to be a contributing factor in the human attempts to influence life that filled with uncertainty. This study intends to determine the effect of leadership style to the performance of teachers and staffs in SD Islam Tompokersan and SD Islam Al Ikhlas Lumajang, with the motivation and discipline of work as intervening variables. The analytical method used in this research is the empirical analysis with a quantitative approach with the method of Path analysis. The results showed leadership style has negative effect on motivation, leadership style does not affect the discipline of teachers and staffs, motivation significant has positive effect on the performance of teachers and staffs, disciplinary significant has positive effect on the performance of teachers and staffs in SD Islam Tompokersan and SD Al Ikhlas Lumajang, and leadership style does not significantly influence the performance of teachers and staffs, it demonstrates leadership style does not has a linear relationship to the performance of teachers and staffs in SD Islam Tompokersan and SD Al Ikhlas Lumajang.Keywords: Style of school leadership, motivation, work discipline, teacher performance.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyzes the effect of profitability (NPM and ROE) and leverage (DER and DR) partially to stock abnormal returns at the Banking and Insurance Companies Listed Indonesia Stock Exchange, also to analyze the different effect of profitability (NPM and ROE) and leverage (DER and DR) on stock abnormal returns at the Banking and Insurance Companies Listed Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data used in this research are secondary data collected from ICMD and Annual Report of Companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange at 2010 – 2014, and www.yahoofinance.com. The populations in this research are the Banking and Insurance Companies Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sampling method is purposive sampling. The model of analysis used in this research is multiple linier regressions. Results of this research show that NPM have positively and significant effet on stock abnormal return at the Banking and Insurance Companies Listed Indonesia Stock Exchange. ROE have positively and significant effect on stock abnormal returns. DER has negatively but not significant effect on stock abnormal returns at the Banking and Insurance Companies Listed Indonesia Stock Exchange. DR has positively but not significant effect on stock abnormal returns at the Banking Companies Listed Indonesia Stock Exchange. While for the insurance companies, DR has negative effect but not significant on stock abnormal returns. There are differences in the effect of profitability (NPM and ROE) and leverage (DER and DR) to the stock abnormal returns on the Banking Companies Listed Indonesia Stock Exchange .Keywords: profitability, leverage, Net Profit Margin/NPM, Return on Equity/ROE, Debt to Equity Ratio/DER, Debt Ratio/DR, and abnormal return
