Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of marketing mix on the students’ decision to study inthe Midwifery Academy, Jember. The objects of the study were students of the Midwifery Academy, Jember. This study used full sampling method with a sample size of 189 respondents. Multiple linear regression with confirmatoryapproach was used to test the hypothesis. The results showed that the variables of product, price, place, people, physical evidence, and process have significant effect on students’ decision to study in the Midwifery Academy, Jember. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose ofthis study was to examine the effect of institutional image and service quality on satisfaction and loyalty of students of the Moch. Sroedji Jember University. A total of 144 students was used as the sample. The hypothesis were tested using Structural Equation Modelling. Results show that institutional image and service quality affect student satisfaction and loyalty significantly. Customer satisfaction affects customer loyalty significantly. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Health Care ServiceQuality (HCSQ) elements, that consist of physical environmental quality andinteraction quality, on patient satisfaction in Bina Sehat Hospital, Jember. Thepopulation was the patient of Bina Sehat Hospital. Using purposive samplingtechnique, the sample consisted of 100 respondents. Data were analysed usingmultiple linear regression. The results showed that partially and simultaneously,physical environmental quality and interaction quality had a positive significanteffect on patient satisfaction.Keywords: HSQC, interaction quality, patient satisfaction, physical environmentalqualityAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh elemenelemen HCSQ, yang terdiri dari physical environmental quality dan interactionquality, terhadap kepuasan pasien Rumah Sakit (RS) Bina Sehat Jember. Populasidalam penelitian ini yaitu pasien rawat inap di RS Bina Sehat. Teknik pengambilansampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 100responden. Abstract

Today’s consumers are very critical in making choices for the shoes products by considering the intrinsic and extrinsic factors of the products which one of them is the country of origin of the product brand. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of country of origin on the purchase intention through brand image of the shoes products for the consumers in Bandung City. The population of this research is the shoes consumers in Bandung City. The sample consists of 125 respondents taken by purposive sampling approach. The method of analysis used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicate that country of origin influences brand image, brand image influences purchase intention, but there is no direct influence of country of origin on purchase intention of the shoes product in Bandung City. Abstract

Abstract: Disproportionate budget absorption is a common issue in managing local government finances. This study aimed to identify factors that affect the absorption level of the budget managed by theworking units (SKPD) in Situbondo Regency Government. The sample was collected using purposive sampling method and consisted of 200 respondents, i.e., the Spending Treasurers, the Committing Officers, and the Financial Administration Officers. Data were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis. The results show that there are six factors that affect the budget absorption, namely: (1) planning factor that explains the variance of all items amounted to 24.31%; (2) goods/services procurement factor that explains the variance of all items amounted to 11.10%; (3) regulation factor that explains the variance of all items amounted to 8.57%; (4) internal factor that explains the variance of all items amounted to 7.03%; (5) administration factor that explains the variance of all items at 5.92%; and (6) human resources factor that explains the variance of all items by 5.56%. The six factors have the variance of 62.49% in affecting the budget absorption, while the remaining 37.51% is explained by the other factors. Keywords: Budget Absorption, Exploratory Factor Analysis.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work-family conflict on service performance and organizational commitment through fatigue on the staff of Teaching Staff in the Academic Department of Jember University. This research was conducted at the University of Jember with a population of 167 employees of Education Personnel in the Academic section and a number of students from each faculty. The sampling techniques used are purposive sampling for the employee and accidental sampling for the student respondents. So the sample collected were 82 employees and 82 students. Analytical techniques using Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Result of this research: (1) there is no influence between work-family conflict on service performance and organizational commitment directly; (2) but there is an influence between work-family conflict on performance and organizational commitment indirectly through fatigue. So it can be concluded that fatigue is a perfect mediation variable.Keywords: Work-family Conflict, Fatigue, Service Performance, and Organizational Commitment

Abstract

This article aims to prove the role of internal auditors in providing added value in improving the quality of governance in the banking sector. The role of information technology in the banking industry sector is very dominant in service operations. This condition requires banks to apply their prudential principles by guaranteeing the implementation of risk management and electronic channel internet banking through audit management control systems. This study used an explanatory research approach with census data collection methods. The object of this study was the internal auditors of a branch office of one of the national private banks in Jember. The data of this study were the results of the response of 41 internal auditors of various branches and sub-branches in Jember Regency and supported by a literature review of the annual report of banks’ internal audit performance with a path analysis data processing tool. The results of the study showed that the application of risk management and electronic channel internet banking had an effect on the audit management system and the quality of financial technology governance.

Abstract

This research seeks to identify consumer’s response toward brand equity instan soft drink fruit-powder Nutrisari and Marimas. This is a descriptive research based on primary data collected from respondent throughout questionaire. To test validity and reliability this study uses Pearson product moment, avarage and standard deviation, Cohran test, performance importance diagram, brand loyalty piramida and brand switching patern matrix. Result shows that Nutrisari is abrand that has ability to top of mind while Marimas has only able to be brand recall from the costumer’s mind. In a specific brand association, only Marimas passes all association test. In term of brand perceived quality, all of those three brands have higher performance compared to their importancenya. In the brand loyalty level, Nutrisari and Marimas have ideeal piramid for brand loyalty that is rolled back triangle.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors forming consumers' perceptions in using the Go-food platform at Go-jek application by adopting an IRSQ measurement scale. This study examined 20 attributes of IRSQ that were analyzed using EFA. The population of this study was the citizens of Jember who have used the Go-food platform at Go-jek application. The sample consisted of 140 respondents collected by employing a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there were 5 factors forming consumers' perceptions of using the Go-Food platform. The most dominant factor was services performance consisting of the attributes of easy-to-understand online order, fast order confirmation messages, fast loading time, error-free order processing, fast order delivery, and order return policies. The second factor was ease of access consisting of the attributes of various products offering by Go-jek’s partners, promotional products offer, recommendations for the unique products, and various payment methods. The third factor was interaction consisting of the attributes of online chatrooms, product images, and communication interactions. The fourth factor was information that consists of the attributes of product availability information and accuracy of the information, while the fifth factor was security that consists of the attributes of personal information and secure account information.

Abstract

Discount, dan Shopping Lifestyle Terhadap Impulse Buying Melalui Hedonic Shopping Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pada The Body Shop Jember. Jenis penelitian adalah confirmatory research . Populasi penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan konsumen wanita The Body Shop Jember . Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Accidental sampling yaitu digunakan peneliti kepada konsumen yang secara tidak sengaja bertemu di objek penelitian, ukuran sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ditetapkan 100 responden. Variabel yang digunakan sebanyak 4 variabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer, dimana data primer diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji instrumen, uji normalitas,  dan uji hipotesis yang terdiri dari metode analisis yaitu analisis jalur dan uji t.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Discount, Shopping Lifestyle dan Hedonic Shopping berpengaruh terhadap Impulse Buying.
