Abstract

This study is related to the implementation that can be done for disaster education materials with demonstration methods in extracurricular activities in high school. The purpose of this study was to determine the forms of implementation of demonstration methods for disaster education in extracurricular activities at the high school level so as to provide learning and capacity building of students against disaster risk. The research method used is descriptive quantitative data collection in the form of literature. The results showed that the implementation of disaster education in extracurricular activities using the demonstration method requires several stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation. There are two extracurricular activities in high school that can be integrated with disaster education using demonstration methods, namely Scouts and PMR. Scout activities can demonstrate disaster education about mitigation efforts that must be done, as well as about the path and evacuation efforts in the event of a disaster, the manufacture of stretchers for the evacuation of disaster victims, helping victims who are at high altitudes and at low bases, such as valleys by using rope knots, and the skills of erecting emergency tents. Meanwhile, PMR activities that can demonstrate more disaster education about medical treatment to disaster victims.

Abstract

As an archipelagic country, Indonesia is rich with a diversity of coral reef species. This diversity is vulnerable to destruction that can be triggered by human factors or natural factors, including the coral reefs on Tidung Island, the Thousand Islands. This damage can be prevented with the participation of local communities in coral reef ecosystems, who are equipped with knowledge about coral reef management. Therefore, this study is intended to determine the relationship between the level of public knowledge of coral reef management on Tidung Island. This study used quantitative methods with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The results show that the knowledge of the Tidung Island community and management of coral reefs is stated to be valid with an r table of 5% which is 0.361. In the reliability test, a value was obtained (0.646> 0.361), so the questionnaire was declared reliable. In the normality test, the p value sig of all variables is 0.200> 0.005, the residual value is normal. In the linearity test, a value of 72,446 was obtained, then in the hypothesis test, the calculated f value was 28.00> 3.35. Finally, this study concluded that there was a significant influence of the knowledge of the Tidung Island community on coral reef management. Abstract

ecologically, and economically. Currently, the area of seagrass beds continues to decrease. This is due to the lack of public knowledge regarding the role of seagrass ecosystems. For this reason, research was carried out so that this data could become knowledge related to the extent of seagrass distribution from several periods, namely 2015, 2018, and 2022. This research was carried out using the lyzenga method by utilizing remote sensing technology. The results of the classification will obtain two classes, namely seagrass and non-seagrass. In 2015 the seagrass area was 0.232548 km2 and the non-seagrass area was 9.823787 km2, in 2018 the seagrass area was 0.074101 km2 and the non-seagrass area was 6.918944 km2. Then, in 2022 the area of seagrass beds will be 0.400978 km2 and non-seagrass areas will be 10.983756 km2. Between 2015 and 2018 there was a change in the area of seagrass to a non-seagrass area of 0.158447 km2 and between 2018 and 2022 there was an increase in the area of seagrass area of 0.326877 km2. Abstract

Earthquake events are disasters that cannot be predicted and have the possibility of recurring. The earthquake that hit Cianjur Regency on November 22 2022 provided lessons in dealing with and evaluating affected areas and sectors so that going forward it would be able to reduce victims and damage. Cugenang District is one of the sub-districts affected by the earthquake, plus a fault zone or Cugenang Fault has been identified. One of the sectors affected is the education sector, especially elementary schools in their teaching and learning activities. This study aims to identify the distribution pattern of elementary schools as a trigger factor for evaluating locations with an earthquake risk index level. As for the evaluation, the Nearest Neighbor Analysis (NNA) method and overlay analysis were used so that a random distribution pattern was obtained in Elementary Schools that followed settlements, and Elementary Schools with high levels of damage were obtained in locations with high earthquake indexes so that they were used as basis for consideration of relocation. Abstract

This study was motivated by the weak teaching materials used and the low use of technology-based teaching materials. One way to overcome this problem is to make teaching materials in the form of Heyzine flipbook[1]based E-modules. The purpose of this study was to create teaching materials for geography E-modules on disaster mitigation material based on Heyzine flipbook. The method used is the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). Data collection is done through observation, expert validation and user response. The questionnaires used were in the form of expert validation sheets and user response sheets (students and geography subject teachers). The data collected were data on the quality of teaching materials and recommendations from design, material, and language expert validators, as well as data on user responses to teaching materials by students and teachers. The data were processed using quantitative descriptive methods. The results of the E-module validation received a percentage score of 95.60% from design experts, 92.19% from material experts and 86.80% from language experts. The results of summative evaluation questions during implementation from 27 students, 85% of students with very high scores, 4% of students with high scores, 4% of students with medium scores, 4% of students with low scores and 3% of students with very low scores. The results of student responses obtained a percentage of 88.03% Indicators with the highest percentage are points 1 and 11 of the physical appearance of the E-module that attracts students to read and E-modules can be used at any time, which means that this Heyzine flipbook based E-module can be easily accessed by students while Geography teachers give a percentage of 100%

Abstract

ABSTRACTLanguage is a means of daily communication for the community to carry out social activities in the community. Sundanese is the regional language of instruction of Sundanese culture spoken by 42 million people, and is the 2nd most widely spoken regional language in Indonesia with speakers spread across West Java province and its surroundings. Sundanese speakers are so numerous that each region has different dialects due to various factors, one of which is geographical location. To analyze geographical location factors that affect the distribution of Sundanese dialect varieties, a literary method is needed to analyze regional conditions and dialect differences influenced by geographical location. The research method used is a literature study by examining existing phenomena with studies from literature sources and the internet. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of geographical location on dialect differences, especially Sundanese whose speakers are in the provinces of West Java and Banten indifferent and geographically separated circumstances. In general, it can be said that the geographical conditions of West Java Province and its surroundings are different, namely the landscape and morphology from the coast to the mountains can create its own dialect according to geographical conditions that should be a factor. influence differences in Sundanese dialects.Keyword: Dialect, Sundanese Language, Distribution of Sundanese Language Dialect

Abstract

The construction of settlements and the development of industrial estates are continuously increasing, especially in urban areas. The city of Cimahi has a strategic position and is quite close to the city of Bandung, so that an increase in building density will result in an increase in atmospheric conditions around the area which will trigger land surface temperatures in an area. The main objective of the research is to analyze the effect of building density on land surface temperature in Cimahi City. To examine the effect between variables using a simple linear regression test. Based on the results of NDBI processing in 2014, the lowest value was -0.68 and the highest value was 0.51. In 2022, the NDBI processing results will produce the lowest value of -0.447 and the highest value of 0.517. The results of building density processing from 2014 to 2022 show an increase in building density. Based on the processing results, the lowest land surface temperature in 2019 was 12ºC and the highest temperature was 25ºC. The processing of land surface temperatures in 2022 will produce the lowest temperature, which is 18ºC and the highest temperature, which is 27ºC. The results of land surface temperature changes from 2014 to 2022 show a significant increase. The results of a simple linear regression test in 2014 yielded values R square of 0.614 with a significant value of 0.001. The results of the regression test in 2022 yield R square 0.505 with a significant value of 0.001. From the results of the research, it is hoped that the government can assist decision making as well as a policy reference in development planning and spatial planning. For future researchers, it is hoped that they can provide updates on methods and the use of higher resolution or updated satellite imagery. Keywords: Building Density, Land Surface Temperature, Regression, Remote Sensing
