Abstract

Nowadays, the industry makes various types of goods that have glass-based materials, float car window panes, non-float building windows, lamps, jars, and tableware. These glasses have the same production material, the difference between one and the other is the composition of the production material. K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm which is one of the classification methods in data mining and also a supervised learning algorithm in machine learning is a method for classifying objects based on learning data that is the closest distance to the object.. This study discusses the performance measurement (accuracy, precision, recall and f-measure) of the KNN method with a variety of values on 1000 glass type production data objects obtained from the central UCI Machine Learning Repository dataset. The conclusion of this research is the results of the value of K = 3 to K = 9, the best performance values obtained at K = 3, where the level of accuracy reaches 64%, 63% precision, 71% recall, and F-Measure of 67%.

Abstract

Admission to Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) is divided into academic paths, scholarships and regular tests. The benchmarks used to accept prospective students through the academic track still see five academic grades with a minimum value of 70. There are cases where the minimum grade decreases depending on the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) from the school of the prospective student. The process of changing majors at UMN can be done by going to the Student Support division and undergoing a series of tests depending on the chosen study program. The Student Support Faculty of Engineering and Informatics (FTI) does not have enough data to carry out specific tests. Based on these two problems, a decision support system ?FTI Recommendation? was built using the AHP and SAW methods. AHP method is the basis for evaluating prospective students, while the SAW method is for alternative ranking. and the expert reference value as a substitute for the old benchmark, which is 70 or in accordance with KKM from the prospective student's school. The decision support system built produces a satisfaction level of 77.22%.

Abstract

The information technology has an important role in a company or agency to run its business process. It can help to optimize the business continuity as in the customer service process. In this case, the company needs an information system to manage the relationship between the customer and company applied into the concept of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). The initial stage in the development of information systems is to design architecture including: technology architecture, data architecture, and business process architecture. The Unified Process (UP) is a framework of the instantiated software process, both the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and Enterprise Unified Process (EUP). The information system architecture of CRM uses the Enterprise UP method. It is an enterprise architecture design that can be used as a reference to build a CRM-based system that can increase core value in service to customers. The results of this study are recommendations for information systems architecture models and methods used to achieve the strategic goals of the organization, especially in terms of customer service.

Abstract

The business world often faces changing conditions in its business activities. The right work plan is needed so that the business world can develop, one of which is budget planning. In planning the loan budget in the Cooperative refers to the limit on the number of submissions, there is no nominal loan budget plan so that the cooperative's cash condition is unstable and can affect the development of the cooperative. Then we need a system that can predict the loan budget needed. The method used in this reserch is simple Linear Regression to predict budgets and Tsukamoto Fuzzy Methods for budget optimization. Predicted the loan budget for April 2019 with a total capital of Rp. 500,000,000 using simple linear regression predictions of Rp. 441,690,000, after optimization using the Tsukamoto Fuzzy Method is Rp. 396,960,000 more savings Rp. 44,730,000 or 10.12%.

Abstract

Exact Match is used to bring up sentences only on certain keywords. This study aims to apply the Exact Match method in the Al-qur'an and Hadith applications to find conformity between verses and hadiths. This research simplify for the people to increase their knowledge of the Qur'an and Hadith. This study uses interview techniques for some Muslims regarding the need to learn the quran and the hadith, observation technique is to do a comparison of several hadiths by asking for recommendations from the ustadz/ustazah, identify what are the shortcomings of existing hadith applications, and literature study techniques that are collecting data obtained from the Qur'an and the Hadith. The results of this study are (1) Created an application to match Hadiths that are in accordance the verse with the Exact Match method (2) Showing hadith related to the contents of the selected verse (3) Speed to produce a match in the Application of the Qur'an and Hadith depends on the internet network and the amount of data (4) The number of hadiths that appear is influenced by the number of available hadiths.

Abstract

Bina Darma University is one of the higher education institutions in South Sumatra Province. Bina Darma University has made a real contribution in the world of Education, especially in the South Sumatra Province. To ensure the smooth running of the academic routine, Bina Darma University has a special directorate, namely The Directorate of Systems and Information Technology (DSTI). The directorate's main task is to ensure the availability of IT services to support academic activities. One of the services currently available is a mobile-based academic information system (UBD on your hand). Where this service is a development service from an existing web-based academic information system. But to ensure that the service remains well-established, it is necessary to know how the user's perspective on an IT service such as the UBD application on your hand. To find out how far the user is using usability techniques using the system usability scale approach as a measurement tool. The measurement results obtained an average value of 87.2 indicating that the mobile-based academic information system (UBD on your hand) was viewed from an adjective rating including excellence category, seen from the grade scale including group B, and in terms of acceptability including acceptable groups. Thus, the category can be accepted by the user and feasible to use without repairs.

Abstract

Batu Mekar Village is one of the villages in West Lombok Regency in Lingsar District. Batu Mekar village has many products in the form of handicrafts such as bags, lamp decorations made from ketak or agricultural and plantation products such as coffee, palm sugar and others. The problem that exists in Batu Mekar Village is the low sales price of handicraft products because the product is only left at a souvenir shop. The decrease in the number of sales was not due to a decrease in the number of tourists who ended up on the island of Lombok due to the earthquake. In addition, the limited promotion media. This research was developed using the Rapid Application Development method. This research resulted in an online sales information system as a medium for handicraft sales, so that the public could directly sell their products without going through intermediaries as well as promotional media so that handicraft products can be sold directly and can be recognized by the wider community. The developed application can be used as a promotional medium as well as a means of selling Batu Mekar village handicraft products.

Abstract

Object tracking is one of computer vision. Can be developed into various based applications like human computers interface, video compression and security system. Object tracking is used to identified objects within background and identify the number of objects that a cross. Algorithm for this object tracking use optical flow method and background estimation. Testing is carried out using a moving camera placed in a car. It's using parameter values for each Algorithm. The test is used three videos from the Matlab. Simulink Profile Report that optical flow method had Recorded Total Time better than the background estimation with 100 seconds duration. The optical flow Testing method successfully identified the car object. And background testing didn't succeed in identified and to differentiate an object to it?s background. The object test recorded from the distance with a camera, to examined how many the background was and the speed of cars.

Abstract

Human Resources is an important asset in the company to be able to achieve company goals, the selection of the best employees is a way that companies do to motivate employee performance. Company leaders usually have difficulty in evaluating employee performance with various assessment indicators available. This results in decisions that are not objective, to be able to process the best employee selection data that is more accurate and more objective results. Then the Decision Support System is needed in the selection of the best employees. In this study there were 25 Alternative Employees who had met the best employee selection requirements that were processed using the Simple Additive Weighting method and based on 5 assessment criteria, namely the criteria of loyalty, responsibility, behavior / ethics, cooperation, and attendance. From the results of the calculation of the SAW method obtained a top 10 ranking and also obtained that employee work loyalty is very influential on the calculation results with a weight of 30% of the overall weight.

Abstract

In this research, we will focus on facial expressions to detect customer satisfaction in mini markets where the service level is less than optimal. To find out the level of custome satisfaction can be seen through facial recognition tahen through CCTV in the mini market. The problems that occur are many customers who do not directly convey the impression that is felt when shopping, while minimarkets and shopping conters must know the level of customer satisfaction to improve sales strategies. Research to solve the problem is still rerely done, therefore one of the roles of intelligent computing is to solve the problem using Support Vector machine (SVM). The purpose of this study is to improve the accuracy of facial expressions of mini market customers through improved preprocessing. The results of the application of the otsu method and the gaussian function can be used for the preprocessing stage through a threshold image that has good image quality. The otsu-gaussian method is not effectively used for preprocessing data sourced from video or images with poor image quality, making it difficult to recognize faces.
