Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Influence of Personal and Environmental Factors towards Premarital Sex Activities of Teenagers in High Schools Near Red-Light-Districts at Malang Regency; Increased levels of towards Premarital Sex Activities in the districts of Malang, From 404 students in Malang Regency, 116 students (29%) have had premarital sex, and 21 % of them involved in affairs without having sexual intercourse. The teenagers who live near the district were exposed to prostitution environment. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of personal and environmental factors towards premarital sex activities of teenagers in high schools near red-light-districts. This study used quantitative method to the design of explanatory research with cross sectional approach. Data collection using questionnaires on242 respondents (from 10th and 11th Graders) who were interviewed using structured questioner. The data analysis used univariate, bivariate technique, tested by chi-square test, and multivariate technique tested by logistic regression test. The findings of the research showed about 24 % of the teenagers have had premarital sex. variable towards teenagers’ attitudes towards premarital sex was self-esteem with the (OR= 3.695)Keywords: personal and environmental factors, premarital sex

Abstract

ABSTRACTDevelopment in Indonesia has brought rapid progress in all areas of life such as industry, services, property, mining, transportation and others, but behind the progress of the negative impacts such as accidents, pollution and occupational diseases resulting in thousands of injuries and deaths every year. 85% of accidents are the result of the contribution of unsafe act. This research used a quantitative approach, explanatory research with a cross-sectional design. The population consists of 42 people drawn using total sampling method. Most dominant factors influencing safety driving practices of PO.X bus drivers are; knowledge (OR = 12,477), motivation (OR = 9,387), followed by attitude (OR = 7,855). Inadequate knowledge about the risks, dangers and accidents will make the worker indifferent and allow to perform unsafe acts and injure her self.Keywords : knowledge, motivation, employee rotary PT. Abstract

ABSTRACTFood Intake is The Most Dominant Factors Influencing Toward Opportunistic Infections On People With HIV/AIDS At Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang; The infection disease of HIV and AIDS is the main cause of death around the world today. One of the causes of high mortality and disability is opportunistic infection. The number of deaths recorded as many as 68 (73.9%) caused by opportunistic infections at Dr. Kariadi Hospital in 2014. The objective of this study is to analyze the factors influencing for the incidence of opportunistic infections on people with HIV/AIDS at Dr Kariad Hospital Semarangi. This study is quantitative research with cross sectional design. Sample is HIV / AIDS patients who visited at Dr KariadiHospital Semarang. The systematic random sampling technique is used in this study. The amount of sample is 82 people from 523of popolations. Data has collected by interview and observation. The results of univariate analysis illustrates that respondents with HIV / AIDS who have 53.7% Opportunistic Infections are most opportunistic infections are tuberculosis amounted to 31.82%. Results of bivariate analysis using statistical test Chi-Square shows there are nine variables significantly associated, namely the control examination, ARV adherence, food intake, food safety, personal hygiene, activity patterns, family support, peer support, and the support of a case manager. The most dominant variable is the effect of nutrient intake (OR = 7.477).Keywords: HIV / AIDS, Opportunistic Infections, Behavior

Abstract

ABSTRACTForms of Family Support to Mothers With HIV Positive in Compliance With ARV Therapy in The City of Semarang; HIV cases among housewives is increasing from year to year. Data in September 2012 showed that housewife was ranked 2. Family support is needed to mothers with HIV positive in living her life with a dual role as a wife and mother as well as in compliance with ARV. This study aims to explore the opinion of mothers with HIV positive in terms of family support in ARV therapy adherence in Semarang. This study uses a qualitative research approach. Informants selected by purposive sampling with the help of key informants that case manager of KDS Arjuna Plus The Data validity which used with source triangulation method such family informant and case manager.The results of this study showed that family support from husbands, parents, and children like to remind to take medicine, listening to complaints from informants, drove to the clinic to support financially can improve informants adherence in compliance with ARV therapy. Compliance informants in ARV therapy has increased from time to time with an awareness of the informants and family and social support.Keywords : Mothers with HIV positive, Family support, Compliance

Abstract

ABSTRACTBehavior of PLWHA in Periodic Diagnostic Examination as Care and Support Effort in The Pemalang District;Improved quality of life of people living with HIV can be realized through care and support for PLWHA was periodic diagnostic examination behavior. PLWHA in Pemalang have routine examination as only 20%. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the behavior of people living with HIV in periodic diagnostic examination in Pemalang. This research was a quantitative study with cross sectional approach. Quantitative data collection techniques through questionnaire interviews where the number of respondents was 53 PLWHA. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis with frequency distribution, using the Chi-square bivariate and multivariate logistic regression. The results showed that the variables related to the behavior of people living with HIV in periodic diagnostic check was the last of education, income, knowledge, attitudes, availability and affordability, and HIV/AIDS disclosure. Multivariate analysis showed that knowledge (p value = 0.041) was the variable that has the most significant effect on the behavior of periodic diagnostic examination with OR of 3.927. The advice given to the government is to provide a comprehensive socialization of care and support include periodic medical examinations related what procedure should be done and the standard tariff for the examination.Keywords: PLWHA, Periodic Examination, Pemalang

Abstract

ABSTRACTAnalysis of factors associated with the incidence of STIs adolescents in STIs Health center clinic Rijali and Passo Ambon City; Sexually transmitted infections are a serious problem in Indonesia as the disease continues to increase every year due to sexual behavior patterns among adolescents more freely. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors associated with the incidence of STIs in adolescents in STIs clinics and health centers Rijali and Passo Ambon City. This type of research is expalanatory research with cross sectional / prevalence study. The subjects of this study were teenagers who came for treatment, control and counseling at health centers and Passo Rijali with a sample size of 100 people. Data analysis was done by means of univariate, bivariate with Chi-square and multivariate logistic regression. Results of bivariate analysis of age and religiosity associated with risky sexual behavior while berisoko sexual behavior and history associated with the IMS IMS events. Results of logistic regression test showed a history of STIs are variables that most influence on the incidence of STIs in which teenagers who have a history of STIs, the possibility of risk for infection with STIs 31.4 times greater compared to teens who do not have a history of STIsKeywords : Sexually transmitted infections, adolescents

Abstract

ABSTRACTBold Blood Donor are Present On The UDD PMI Semarang Reactive Screening Result For Counseling?Every year the number of blood donations in PMI Semarang district there is an increase. Donated blood at the Red Cross will do blood screening. Blood screening will be undertaken are 4 parameters (HIV, Syphillis, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C). DDS in donating their blood found that in a healthy state at the time of screening and the result is reactive, the attitudes of different DDS would anyone want to do is present for counseling and some do not want to attend. The purpose of this research is to know the intentions of doing counselling in UDD PMI Semarang. This type of research is Explanatory research with cross sectional approach. The subject of research is the blood donors in PMI Semarang with a total sample of 297 people. The results showed 70,0% most of the DDS is not the intention to undertake counseling screening results. Results of the analysis show that variable attitude bivariat DDS when results of blood screening has significant relationship reactive with the intention of doing a counseling screening. While the results of the multivariate shows availability of facilities and means in UDD PMI will make intentions DDS did better counseling of 3,506 times rather than the availability of facilities and means of UDD PMI which is less available.Keywords: DDS, counseling, blood screening
