Abstract

This innovative work on Student Character Development with Bikabepo and Wabidaka Games at SD Negeri Pucangan 03, Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency aims to describe the procedures for developing student character with Bikabepo and Wabidaka games at SD Negeri Pucangan 03Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency. Bikabepo is an acronym for Power Point Based Character Bus and Wabidaka is an acronym for Wayang Bus from Cardboard. Bikabepo and Wabidaka games were chosen as learning media to solve learning problems, namely to increase students' creativity and character development. The method used is the Research and Development (R and D) research method. The results of the implementation of this innovative work show that the use of Bikabepo and Wabidaka game media can develop student character and improve learning outcomes and student creativity in learning. The development of student character can be seen from the results of interviews with class teachers and guardians which show that 90% of students have been honest, disciplined and responsible in daily life. The learning outcomes showed an increase in learning completeness by 47%, which was originally by 30% after using Bikbepo and Wabidaka game media to 77%. In addition, student creativity also increases in learning based on the results of student work in making character buses and solving problems about character. 100% of students can answer questions about character issues in everyday life. Based on this, it can be concluded that powerpoint-based character bus games and cardboard bus puppets can develop the character, learning outcomes and creativity of students at SD Negeri Pucangan 03. Abstract

Digital literacy is an important skill in the era of industry 4.0 because digital technology is affecting many aspects of life. As an executive institution of the education system, schools have to play a role in the citizens’ digital literacy by implementing a learning programme that is oriented towards the improvement of students digital literacy. To support that affair, this research is aimed to develop a respiratory system teaching material that is oriented to improve students’ digital literacy. The development model used in this research is the ADDIE model that consists of five stages; analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate. Teaching material was going through feasibility tests on the concept, media, and language aspects by two validators in each aspect. The test and trial process is executed by the students of SMAN 23 Jakarta and two biology teachers. The results of feasibility tests are the following; 3,40 on concept aspect, 3,47 on media aspect and 3,70 on language aspect that indicates a very valid criterion. The trial test results also shown a very valid criterion with the following values; 3,32 on students’ trial test and 3,75 on teachers’ trial test. The overall result of the respiratory systems teaching material is 3,53 which is indicating that the product is very feasible to be used as a learning material in schools and expected to improve students digital literacy

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research was finding out of students who had not have the ability of reading poetry well. This research aimed (1) to describe IIA grade students' reading poetry ability of SDN 1 Karangsari, Banyuwangi, in new normal era, and (2) the factors that affect IIA grade students' reading poetry ability of SDN 1 Karangsari, Banyuwangi, in new normal era. The type of this research was qualitative descriptive research. The subject of this research was IIA grade students of SDN 1 Karangsari, Banyuwangi, academic year 2021/2022 consisting of 22 students in the class. The research method used was interview and observation. The technique of data analysis used was qualitative descriptive statistics. The result of this research showed that (1) IIA grade students' reading poetry ability of SDN 1 Karangsari, Banyuwangi, included in enough categories. The percentage of IIA grade students' reading poetry ability based on the percentage calculation result of reading poetry ability was (a) 1 student was included in very good category with the percentage 4,54%; (b) 4 students were included in good category with the percentage 18,18%; (c) 14 students were included in enough category with the percentage 63,64%; (d) 3 students were included in less category with the percentage 13,64%, and (2) there were two kinds of factor that affect it, (a) internal factors were from students' them-selves, as like students’ interest, talent, motivation, self confidence, fear, rush, reading fluency, and student focus, dan (b) external factors consisted of the school environment and family. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to increase students' learning motivation through the Reading Guide learning model. The participants of this investigation were the students of class XI IPA 2 SMAN 2 Mandau. The implementation of this research was carried out in 2 cycles, with the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. At the Pre Test stage, the students' motivation level was 59.2% (low category). These results could be seen from the learning motivation questionnaire that had been made. Then after the implementation of the first cycle, the level of student learning motivation rose to 74.16% (medium category), and in the second cycle showed that the student's learning motivation increased to 82.02%. In addition to this, an increase also occurred in the teacher's observation sheet. Where in the first cycle obtained 67.85% and in the second cycle of 82.14%. The increase of student motivation was concluded that the application of the Reading Guide learning model could increase student learning motivation. Abstract

The problem in this study is the low interest in learning in class X accounting majors at SMK Negeri 2 Balige due to low parental attention. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental attention on the interest in learning of class X students in the Accounting Department at SMK Negeri 2 Balige. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Balige. The population in this study were all 107 students of class X Accounting Department at SMK Negeri 2 Balige. The sampling technique is total sampling so that the number of samples used is 107 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using the PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis technique through SmartPLS software. The data collection technique in this study was in the form of a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using the PLS Algorithm test, PLS Bootstrapping and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results of the analysis obtained that the average reflected is above 0.5 and the outer loading indicator is higher than 0.6. The data from the calculation for the research hypothesis where parental attention affects students' learning interest is obtained from the p-value of 0.000 while the real level or is 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that parental attention has an effect on students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Future generations need to be provided with provisions and insights into the environment so that an environmentally literate generation is formed. Likewise, prospective teacher students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan need to gain insight related to environmental literacy. The purpose of this study is to determine the perception of FKIP UAD students towards understanding environmental literacy and for the level of understanding of student environmental literacy. This research is a survey research with questionnaire techniques and instruments used to collect data using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive analysis. The population in this study was all FKIP UAD students class of 2018, the sample used was 219 students with random sampling techniques. The results showed that the perception of FKIP UAD students towards understanding environmental literacy was included in the sufficient category, student perception of understanding environmental literacy included 4 aspects, namely competence towards the environment, knowledge of the environment, attitude towards the environment, and behavior and responsibility towards the environment Key words: perception, future teacher, literacy, environment

Abstract

This research aimed to discover the learning process of elementary school students during the Covid-19 outbreak, this includes problems faced by parents and students, and strategies to overcome these problems as well as suggestions for improving online learning in elementary schools. Data were collected through a survey method by distributing questionnaires about the responses of parents on the process of implementing online learning during the covid-19 outbreak. The results of the survey showed that online learning for elementary school students is less conducive, less effective, and less efficient compared to face-to-face learning interaction. This study enriches the research and knowledge related to online learning at primary school during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the contextual teaching and learning model through whatsaap groups in class IV mathematics learning by taking into account the indicators of achieving effectiveness, namely: learning implementation, student learning activities, and student responses. The type of this research is descriptive research. The population is all fourth grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Sorong City for the 2021/2022 academic year. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques using observation and questionnaires. Observations were used to describe the implementation of learning and student learning activities, while questionnaires were used to describe student responses. Data analysis was carried out by describing the average achievement of effectiveness indicators consisting of the implementation of learning, student learning activities, and student responses. The results of the study indicate that the indicators of achievement of effectiveness, implementation of learning have been carried out well starting from the initial, core, and closing activities. Indicators of student learning activities are classified as very active. Indicators of student response are classified as very positive. Based on this, the application of the contextual teaching and learning model through whatsaap groups in fourth grade mathematics learning is effective.

Abstract

The teaching profession is an effort by the Government to improve the quality of teachers through improving teacher welfare. Teachers who have passed the teacher professional test will be given a professional allowance of one time of basic salary as a form of government efforts to improve teacher welfare. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of junior high school mathematics teachers in terms of Continuing Professional Development (PKB). This research is a descriptive-qualitative research, namely research conducted using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The research sample was junior high school mathematics teachers and school principals in the city of Semarang. From the results of this study indicate that the profile of junior high school teachers in the city of Semarang, aspects: (1) aspects of self-development, 58% of teachers have good intentions and motivation to participate in these activities, whether organized by schools or other agencies, (2) in the aspect of scientific publications, 32% of teachers carry out scientific publications very well but most of the teachers still having difficulty doing classroom action research and writing scientific articles, and (3) on the aspect of innovative work, 16% of teachers are not interested in making teaching aids, especially IT-based learning media.

Abstract

Abstract: The use of technology in education is highly significant nowadays. Currently, blended learning is used in Indonesia, which requires students and teachers to communicate via social media. Students from SMP Karanglewas, enter school in turn according to the schedule, and when students study at home, the teacher must deliver materials or tasks through social media. The researcher would learn about the novice and experienced teachers' perceptions of TPACK, as well as the activities that teachers took based on their usage of technology. There were two study questions: What are novice and experienced teachers’ perceptions of TPACK? and To what extent have their actions been inspired by TPACK? The objectives were to investigate beginner and experienced SMP Karanglewas instructors' variations in their TPACK, as well as to learn about the influences on professional development and the behaviours inspired by TPACK. The findings where teachers could apply TPACK well even though they need help from other people and the difference between novice and experienced teachers in terms of technology was different because novice teachers had high technology knowledge but experienced teachers, were good at pedagogy content knowledge.
