Abstract

In simultaneous or structural  equation models, if there is true simultaneity among a set of variables, they should not be any apriori distinction between endogenous and exogenous variables. It is in this spirit of the VAR models. We study  stock value simultaneous model at PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Indonesia Tbk, for the period of 1998–2005. Variables in stock value simultaneous models are stock value, Return of Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Earning Per Share (EPS). The data is obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory, Jakarta Stock Exchange and PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Indonesia Tbk. Financial Statement. The empirical results showed that the variables under consideration can be said to be integrated of order one, and the residuals have independent and normal distribution. With AIC and SC values, we conclude that each equations contains four lag values of Stock Value, ROA, DER, and EPS. The estimated VAR model can be used for forecasting the future values of stock value. In this study, we forecast the stock value from 2006:1 until 2007:12.

Abstract

Pelabelan Graceful pada graf dengan q sisi merupakan pemetaan injektif   , yang mengakibatkan pemetaan , yang didefinisikan dengan  bersifat bijektif. Graf yang memenuhi pelabelan graceful disebut graf graceful. T. Mahalaksmi Senthil Kumar, T. Abarna Parthiban dan T. Vanadhi [4], membuktikan graf CmÈPn merupakan graf graceful genap untuk m ganjil yang memenuhi kondisi tertentu. Marry U dan Saranya D [2], membuktikan bahwa graf CmÈPn merupakan graf graceful genap untuk m genap yang memenuhi kondisi tertentu. Pelabelan graceful genap didefinisikan sebagai pemetaan injektif  yang mengakibatkan pemetaan , yang didefinisikan  bersifat bijektif.  Tetapi pada pembuktian [4] dan [2], syarat injektif dan bijektif fungsinya tidak terpenuhi. Artikel ini mendefinisikan kembali pelabelan graceful genap pada graf CmÈPn sehingga syarat injektif dan bijektif fungsinya terpenuhi.

Abstract

Pada tulisan ini diselidiki, masalah klasifikasi interaksi gelombang bertipe dua soliton Kadomtsev-Petviashvilli (KP). Disini dianalisis berdasarkan parameter interaksi dua solusi soliton baik melalui harga eksak maupun proses pelimitan. Proses pelimitan ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui resonansi diantara dua soliton. Selanjutnya  resonansi soliton ini dikaji untuk mendapatkan soliton yang baru.

Abstract

The present of outlier data causes the estimator of variance-covariance be overestimated. As a consequent, in the principle component analysis, the variability of the data in the main component becomes biger than as expected. To cope this condition, one can use robust estimator, i.e. MVE and MCD. Using simulation of Monte Carlo Experiments, the Principal Component Analysis  using estimator MCD has the better performance than the estimator MVE and also classic estimator.

Abstract

This paper discusses the sum of fundamental solutions of 2-D diffusion equation (for constant diffusion rate). Although a linear diffusion equation is considered, the sum of fundamental solutions is not automatically a solution. This is because of the presence of a singularity at the origin O. In this paper, it will be shown that the sum of fundamental solutions is a solution of the primitive of diffusion equation, diffusion equation in an integral form. It is also shown that the sum of fundamental solutions represents mass tranfer process caused by a source that impulsively releases  some amount of mass.

Abstract

In this paper, we are using multistate model to evaluate Long Term Care (LTC) health insurance contract. Some products in LTC contract such as stand alone Annuity, LTC as a rider benefit, Enhanced pension and Insurance package are discussed. We use Discrete Time Markov Chains (DTMC) to model health status of each of the patients. Every time, a patient is exposed to one of the status that already set in the status space, for example: health, ill and death. We also consider evaluating premiums and reserves generated by this model which also useful for the practioneers and insurance companies.

Abstract

Fuzzy graph is a graph consists pairs of vertex and edge that have degree of membership containing closed interval of real number [0,1] on each edge and vertex. A fuzzy graph  is said to be a strong fuzzy graph if degree of membership edge with the same minimum degree of membership vertex and degree of membership vertex for each edge   with . In this paper describes the properties of fuzzy graphs isomorphism include weak isomorphism, co-weak isomorphism, and isomorphism on strong fuzzy graph.

Abstract

In this article is studied problem of Fuzzy Controller Design For Nonlinear Systems With Case Study Of  TORA System. Fuzzy control for nonlinear systems is proposed on the  framework from model of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model and PDC(paralel distributed compensation) controller. A lyapanouv-based stabilizing fuzzy control design for nonlinear systems using  Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy models is applied. The stability analysis and control design problems are reduced to  linear of matrix inequality (LMI) problems. So that method of fuzzy controller design are solve a set of LMI. Approach of PDC, robust and optimal controller are applied to  a  nonlinear control benchmark problem with case study  of TORA system. The designed fuzzy controllers are yield an asymtotic stable closed-loop system. The fuzzy controller  Simulation results are given to ilustrate the utility of the present fuzzy control.
