Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate numerical solutions of boundary value problems of positive differential operator by finite-element methods.  The results showed that the finite-element methods can be implemented to obtained numerical solutions of boundary value problems of second-order positive differential operator.  Moreover, rate of convergence of Ritz finite-element with Lagrange quadratic interpolation be  in the the -norm and  in the energy norm.

Abstract

Let  be independent observation data and follows a model  Yi = f(Xi) + eI ,  i =1,2,...,n  with f is an unknown regression function and ei are independent random variables with mean 0 and variance s2. The function f could be estimated by parametric and nonparametric appro-aches. In nonparametric approach, the function f is assumed to be a smooth function or quadratic integrable function. If f belongs to the Hilbert space L2(R) then the function f could be estimated by estimator of orthogonal series, especially by Fourier series estimator. Another estimator of orthogonal series  which could be use  to estimate f is wavelet estimator. Wavelet estimator is an extention of Fourier series estimator  but it is more effective than the Fourier series estimator because the its IMSE converges to zero quicker than the Fourier series estimator.

Abstract

Permasalahan rute terpendek pada jaringan jalan yang menggunakan lampu lalu-lintas bertujuan untuk menentukan rute yang menghubungkan titik asal s dan titik tujuan j, yang mempunyai waktu perjalanan total minimum. Lampu lalu-lintas pada jaringan jalan ini diasumsikan hanya terdiri dari dua fase yaitu merah dan hijau, dengan periode waktu siklus adalah konstan. Permasalahan ini dapat direpresentasikan kedalam graph berarah, dengan waktu perjalanan untuk tiap-tiap jalan adalah bobot arc, dan waktu tunggu pada persimpangan jalan merupakan bobot titik. Waktu perjalanan dari titik asal ke titik tujuan dipengaruhi oleh dua faktor yaitu waktu perjalanan untuk tiap jalan dan waktu tunggu pada persimpangan jalan, dengan lamanya waktu tunggu diatur oleh lampu lalu-lintas. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan rute terpendek ini digunakan algoritma Ford Moore Bellman yang telah dimodifikasi. Pada studi kasus: rute perjalanan Ngesrep – Simpang Lima, dengan menggunakan algoritma ini diperoleh waktu perjalanan minimum dari rute tersebut adalah 10 menit 59 detik, melalui rute Setya Budi  Teuku Umar  Sultan Agung  Diponegoro  Pahlawan  Simpang Lima, dengan beberapa asumsi yaitu: kecepatan kendaraan ketika melewati rute ini adalah konstan yaitu 40 km/jam, tidak terdapat kemacetan pada rute tersebut dan kendaraan hanya berhenti di persimpangan jalan karena lampu lalu-lintas.

Abstract

This research paper will present an existing application and the opportunity m-government services base on mobile technology applications. First we examine the existing applications in mobile technology that can be used for m-government services around world. Secondly, we will look at the benefit and disadvantages those mobile technology applications for m-government services. In addition, it will provide an overview the development of ICT in Indonesia and recognizing the particular challenges that exist for e-government in Indonesia. Then, we will create an analysis as the citizen centered models for m-government base on smart phone mobile technology application.

Abstract

 An optimation is a classical problem to use determine decision making. Traditionally to solve an optimation problem, it is needed a precission and long time. The improvement of this problem, needs simulation software development, less time relatively, and the result more than manually calculated, cause error probability to much. This research concern to make a simulation software based on Dijkstra Algorithm, as tool to give informations on the optimation decision making.

Abstract

Linear Quadratic Gaussian (LQG) controller is one of the controllers used to stabilize a plant.  The plant is an object that is controlled.  The procedure to find this controller as follows; first, the plant is balanced so that controllability and observability Grammians is equal to square Hankel singular values diagonal matrix, then look for the controller gain and estimator gain that are solutions of Riccati equations.  Next, construct a state space realization of LQG controller.  To verify the performance of  the obtained controller, its was applied for the spring mass system.  Further, by using MATLAB program, the performance of the closed loop system with the LQG controller and the open loop system is compared.  The simulation results show that the closed loop system can be stabilized in less than 10 seconds, whereas the open loop system can be stabilized in 3000 seconds. This indicate that the performance of the closed loop system with LQG controller better than the open loop system

Abstract

A sequence of non negative integers d = (d1, d2, …, dn) is said a sequence of graphic if it is the degree sequence of a simple graph G. In this case, graph G is called realization for d. The set of all realizations of  non isomorfic 2-regular graph with order n (n ≥ 3) is denoted R(2n), whereas a graph with R(2n) as set of  their vertices is denoted (2n) . Two vertices in graph (2n)  are called adjacent if one of these vertices can be derived from the other by switching. In the present paper, we  prove that  for n ≥ 6, (2n) is a connected and bipartite graph.

Abstract

The problem of inventories commonly facing the company is determining the optimal order quantities so the demand must be fulfilled. In transaction betwen seller and buyer specified delay of payment is offered by the seller, so given one of alternative the inventory model an Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) with consider partial delayed payment on the partial backordering system. In the inventory model, retailer allowed to make partial payment at the beginning of the period to supplier and the remaining amount can be paid at the end of the period has been determined. There are two condition of stockout are stockout on the condition of lost sales  and stockout on the condition of backorder . Based on the inventory model can determined when the period to make order and how many should be order, so the total cost of inventory issued to be minimum and total profit can be maximum.

Abstract

The research is carried out to build stochastic model from cluster birth-death process with two sexes on Yule-Furry process, since the formula or stochastic model from that stochastic process is not presented yet, where as a lot of phenomena are represented about that stochastic process. Model development is basically to find postulate form and differential equation. The final results of this research are postulate and differential equation from stochastic process, partial differential equation for transition probability generating function, and joint moment generating function.
