Abstract

Influenza or more popular is called flu is a kind of disease caused by virus which infect system of respiratory. Virus of influenza spread by direct contact with a host, so it is needed a quarantine and isolate program to rein it. By quarantine and isolate, formulation of reproduction number are made, by then is to determine a strategy to rein the virus. As a verification of formula obtained, we study the avian influenza at Central Java on September 2005 – April 2008.

Abstract

Masalah vehicle routing (VRP) merupakan suatu permasalahan penting yang terdapat pada sistem transportasi yang bertujuan meminimalkan total jarak tempuh supaya biaya pengoperasian kendaraan minimal. Masalah vehicle routing termasuk ke dalam kelas NP-hard yang pada umumnya menggunakan pendekatan heuristik untuk mencari solusinya. Algoritma genetika merupakan salah satu metode heuristik yang analog dengan proses evolusi alam dengan tahap seleksi, crossover dan mutasi. Pada tulisan ini simulasi dilakukan dengan mencari solusi dari beberapa kasus VRP dengan jumlah titik N = 10 sampai dengan N = 100. Selanjutnya solusi dari kasus tersebut dibandingkan dengan hasil yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan Metode Saving. Hasil perbandingan memperlihatkan bahwa solusi yang dihasilkan algoritma genetika mempunyai kualitas lebih baik untuk jumlah titik yang kecil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki efek diskretisasi terhadap akurasi dari solusi model rambatan panas tanpa suku konveksi menggunakan diskretisasi perubah ruang metode Galerkin Semi Diskret. Dalam penelitian ini sebagai indicator akurasi diambil nilai error (error maksimum). Untuk menentukan akurasi tersebut sebagai pembanding digunakan diskretisasi perubah ruang metode Beda Hingga. Permasalahan yang akan diteliti disini adalah bagaimana mentransformasikan model rambatan panas tanpa suku konveksi kebentuk sistem persamaan diferensial ordiner dengan melakukan diskretisasi pada perubah ruang dengan menggunakan metode Galerkin Semi Diskret. Selanjutnya system persamaan diferensial ordiner yang diperoleh dari diskretisasi tersebut diintegrasikan dengan menggunakan metode Runge Kutta Implisit Diagonal (RKID). Error diperoleh dari selisih solusi persamaan diferensial ordiner dengan solusi sebenarnya yang dihitung pada titik yang sesuai. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa solusi model rambatan panas tanpa suku konveksi yang diperoleh berdasarkan diskretisasi, perubah ruang menggunakan metode Galerkin Semi Diskret relatif lebih akurat dibandingkan dengan solusi yang diperoleh dengan diskretisasi perubah ruang menggunakan metode Beda Hingga.

Abstract

Pada makalah ini dikembangkan Teknik  Integral Batas (TIB) untuk mengetahui pengaruh gravitasi dan tegangan permukaan pada aliran fluida di atas gundukan dalam saluran yang mana aliran fluidanya dalam dua-dimensi, tak-mampu-mampat, tak-berputar dan tak-kental. Bentuk penyelesaiannya adalah sistem persamaan integral-batas yang berasal dari teknik Riemann-Hilbert untuk masalah batas campuran dari fungsi analitis.

Abstract

Let M be an R-module and N Î s[M]. A projective module P with a superfluous epimorphism p : P ® N is called projective cover of N in s[M]. Even if there are enough projective module in s[M], a module need not have a projective cover. To get projective cover, we need supplement which do not always exist. In this paper, we will investigate relation between supplement of a module M and existence projective cover of a factor module of M.

Abstract

 Obligation is one of the financial instruments that can be traded in stock exchange.  To help investors, an obligation has rating that shows its prospect.  Obligation rating is influenced by many factors.  This research will study the effects of financial ratio to rating.  Unfortunately, there are many financial ratios that influence rating, so selection to financial ratio must be done.  For this purpose, two methods will be applied, i.e stepwise logistics regression and genetics algorithm-artificial neural network.  The result shows, that for stepwise logistic regression correctly gives classification 71%, and genetics algorithm 100% training data. For testing data, both methods give the same result, 62% correctly.  Genetics algorithm results selected financial ratio more better than stepwise logistic regression.

Abstract

Let G is simple and finite graph. Graph G is called a directed edge-gracefull graph  if there exists an orientation of G and bijective map  f : A(G) → {1,2, ..., q} such as a map g on V defined by g(v) = [f +(v) – f –(v)] (mod p) is bijective map, which is  f +(v) is the sum of the labels of arcs with v as a head and  f –(v) is the sum of the labels of all arc with v as a tail.  Graph with directed edge-gracefull labeling is called directed edge-gracefull graph. Abstract

The logistic growth model with time delay has developed from the classical logistic model, where as in the growth logistic model with time delay, the growth process delay from a population is calculated. This delay cause population decrease then increase so oscillation appears in population growth. So, the solution is not a monotonous function. The result of analysis indicate that the logistic growth model with time delay have two equilibrium points. Each equilibrium points is analyzed for their stability based on time delay variation on the population growth. The longer time delay in the population growth can cause the  unstable growth, hence the population decrease and become extinct.
